My fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement and they went above and beyond to make our evening so special. Our waiter Jordan was amazing! The food was so delicious. We had oysters, caviar service, escargot, bone marrow and a tomahawk, it was truly an A+ experience. Would recommend to everyone and will certainly be back!

Delicious Food, Some Service Issues My visit to Marcel was a bit of a mixed bag. The food was absolutely amazing, and the dessert was delicious. However, there were a couple of service hiccups that affected the overall experience. Seated at a table with dirty cloths, I requested a different one, which was promptly provided. However, it took around 15 minutes for the server to take our drink order, which was a bit frustrating. Despite these issues, the food at Marcel was outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The dessert was a delightful treat. In summary, while there were some service issues, the food at Marcel was absolutely fantastic. It's worth a visit for the amazing flavors, but be prepared for a few bumps along the way.

Steak was overly salty to the point that I could barely eat it. French onion soup was amazing as was bread service. Wait staff for our table was lacking - all other tables received extra cheese and pepper on their Caesar salads and no one asked us if we wanted any. We rarely saw our waiter except to take our order and bring our check. Really disappointed as I’ve been hearing about this place for years.

The food was fantastic. Delicious steaks. The service was VERY slow, I was kind of surprised. It was over 20 minutes before we were able to place any sort of order with our waiter.

One of the best, if not the best, dining experiences we’ve ever had. We chose to celebrate our anniversary here and the staff at Marcel made it such a memorable and bespoke experience. We felt so special. If you haven’t dined here before you definitely should!

As always the food and service was spectacular. I ate this time at the bar and the bar tenders and waiters at Marcel are top notch, in attentiveness and in service. Steak was “ a pointe “, drinks perfect. Thanks for another great eve and dinner at Marcel.

Dining at Marcel for my boyfriend’s birthday was perfect. The waiting area is quaint and comfy. We waited until our exact reservation, which is fine by me. The server and Somm (Nick) were a great pair, working in tandem to create such an enjoyable dining experience. We will most definitely be back for our anniversary!

My first time at Marcel. I knew it was a steakhouse, but not sure what to expect. We were blown away. Our steaks were outstanding, and the service was beyond exceptional! The side portions were huge, and the steak sauce was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Something has happened here. It’s definitely slipped. The wine was warm. They couldn’t figure out how to make a proper boulevardier. And I ordered the fillet Madame Oscar style that came out like a soup.

The food, service and ambience were SUPERB. I can say there, you get what you pay for. It is a great place to celebrate “Special Occasions “, unless you have deep pockets. It’s not you average steakhouse.

Beautifully appointed space. Was shocked upon entrance to a reservation I struggled to get that there was no host and the host we eventually secured seemed put out to help us. We had a nice waiter and Maitre d, but one steak came out undercooked and they were not able to deal with it satisfactorily. Ghastly service for the price tag. We had a couple of waiters serve food to our table that we didn’t order and also be busy peppering courses before everything had come out from the kitchen. Really sloppy for maybe the most expensive meal I’ve seen. I don’t live in Atlanta, I live in nyc, but this was pricier and yet sloppier than anything I’ve experienced.

Beautiful restaurant, servers were just the sweetest. We were able to joke with them but they are all extremely knowledgeable. Rather quiet atmosphere, be ready for a hefty bill but worth every penny.

I think this place is overhyped. Yes, the food tasted amazing. We ordered a Caesar salad and porterhouse for 2 for our anniversary dinner with Dauphinoise and mushrooms for the sides. The service, the pricing, and the crammed in layout for the tables are what we’re underwhelming to me. Service: (before I say anymore, one server was very nice and polite and the other was a little nonchalant/disinterested) we needed water for about 15-20 minutes at one point and we waited for about 15 minutes for the server to come back so we could order. Then we were finished eating for about 15-20 minutes before we could flag down a server to help us get the check/box up the food. So to sum up we got our food at 9:00 PM for a 7:45 reservation. Spacing of Tables: we couldn’t hear each other talk because the tables to our right and our left were so close and the people were talking so loud. Just seems like it could be a better experience if they didn’t cram that extra table in there. Value: for paying $300 for a meal for 2, I’d expect a better experience. Again, the food was great but a steak I could make for $30-40 wouldn’t have tasted all that different than the one they gave us for $170. *they did bring us an anniversary chocolate treat and a menu that had ”Happy Anniversary” written on it, which we were grateful for*
