All the food we had was excellent!! Full of flavor. The service was exceptional. The waitress was very attentive. Would 100% go back. I reccomend the coconut mojito. Very refreshing!
Great food, delightful outdoor setting. Bloody Mary with tequila and a pickled pepper garnish was spicy goodness.
Delightful! Had a wonderful time at Masa and would recommend it to anyone.
The service was extremely slow in spite of the fact that the restaurant was near empty.
My friends and I came here around 9 PM on a Saturday. We ordered the Mushroom al Ajillo, Masa's Famous Cornbread (with a side of honey molasses butter), Papas Bravas, Empanada de Queso, and the Sangria Margarita pitcher to share. I also had their La Rosa Paloma cocktail! The mushroom & empanadas dishes weren't very memorable. The standout dishes were the Papas Bravas and cornbread. The potatoes were bite-sized and well seasoned. The cornbread paired so nicely with the butter!! My cocktail wasn't overly boozy and tasted mostly like juice! The Sangria Margarita wasn't very good because it was too bitter and not fruity enough. Our waiter was super nice and accommodating throughout the whole night. Masa's ambiance was lovely and fun but some of their dishes weren't very standout.
Food was really good, service was good but slower than expected..Nachos are a definite!!
Simply loved our time at Masa! Our server Liz was wonderful! Can’t wait to go again.
Good overall. Food and drinks came out quickly. It took our server a while to greet us. Good vibe overall.
Very nice restaurant with great food and an amazing server who was attentive, assertive and delightful. Elizabeth, made the experience complete. Thank you!
It was just okay. We felt as if the food was cold for some of the tapas, but the service was good as the hostess was friendly in showing us our table.
Wonderful evening with great staff. The whole experience was excellent!
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was very good. Loved the ceviche!
Good food, consistently good value. Love the 10 item appetizer plate. Wait staff very friendly.
This restaurant was delicious. We did the 2 course brunch for $10 and it was filling and a unique experience. Would highly recommend!
Food was delicious and creative. The portions for some dishes and and even the tapas were on the skimpy-side for the prices. Drinks were also creative but largely over iced, overuse of seltzer, and too little alcohol
We had a few issues with the food and the service. Our food came out noticeably late, during which time our server seemed to avoid us. My food, once it did come out was cold. Our drink orders came out wrong as well.
Really great food and friendly staff. Great Tequila selection. Accommodates large tables well, we were one of three birthday celebrations going on. Kitchen and server accommodated multiple food allergies of our party well. Decor and ambience feels a little dated, but great overall.
Service was terrible, food wasn't great either. Salad was salty and octopus was overcooked. Drinks were good though.
It was very crowded on a Saturday night, which should have been a good sign, but it wasn't. Service was very slow. Pork belly and octopus were overcooked (although the shrimp was actually quite good). It was too noisy to carry out a two-person conversation.
Food was outstanding and Antonio our server couldn't have done a better job!!
Masa was excellent and they catered to my gluten free request very well. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic!
Really enjoyed the meal there. The grilled octopus was terrific, the tuna tartare and the plantains excellent. My son's favorite was the Mexican street corn which I also liked a lot. I'd pass on the sweet potatoes or the shrimp tapas next time, but both were fine. I noticed that a lot of reviews complain about the service, but we had no problems at all.
Great venue for Mother's Day. The Smoked Salmon on tortillas was great. We all had a wonderful time. Perhaps a more Latin music soundtrack, rather than 70's disco would be in order ?
Good food, great ambiance. Great place for weekend brunch.
It was our first timing going to Masa & we were really looking forward to it. We started at the bar for a drink first before being seated. There’s nothing I love more than a good margarita but the margaritas here are served in a pint glass which in my opinion ruins the whole drink and didn’t taste great either. When we got seated, it took at least 10 min for our server to acknowledge us & another 5 min just take our drink order finally. It took over 30 min to get our food which we didn’t order much. Our server never checked on us and we finally had to ask someone else for our check. Food was good but after the poor service I still wouldn’t recommend this place.
Masa is always wonderful. Our server was outstanding and suggested we tweak our order to something we would like more, and gave us options - and didn't charge us extra for it! Lovely way to celebrate a birthday. :)
Oh my GOODNESS and the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside and all the DOGS!
We had been here a few times over the past 2 years and were delighted. This experience was lacking. Empanada appetizer was served room temp, not warm as in prior visits. Huevos Rancheros were relatively bland and lacked any flair. Kids plates had no garnish and were poorly presented on the plate, and dropped on the table. Our waitress was patient and friendly, which was the only reason to return.
Very cool ambiance, excellent margaritas and food! Loved that the size of tapas was a little bigger than expected.
Pros: We were happy to find a place that would take reservations for Sunday brunch in this area. Several appealing menu selections for each of us. Enjoyed the fact that there were good choices for both vegetarians and carnivores. Good-tasting coffee. Pleasant, reasonably light space. A nice, mixed crowd of diners. Cons: Inconsistent service. Once before, had to wait a really long time to be served. This time, service was well timed and pleasant, but still missed one important item (the entree for one of the four of us). So- come, but don't be in a hurry.
Didn’t honor our reservation at 10:30pm even though it was prior to closing, decided to shut down the kitchen instead.
Great for night out. Amazing food, definitely try the crispy octopus and the beet salad :)
Great choices and the menu changes regularly. Love the shareable small plates, adequate for 4 people.
Love the new chef and the chicken dish which replaced the old brick chicken is fantastic. Shared 5 dishes and all were excellent. Have had the grilled octopus for a second time and it did not disappoint. The wild mushrooms are great. Did not have space to have the enchiladas we had last time.
Will return again.
Great food and service!! A+++
It was my birthday. I was surprised I had to give a credit card for this restaurant especially after dining there. At first we were the only table and a few others trickled in. But we had to constantly get the servers to order and reorder our drinks several times. Had to ask the host at one point too. And repeatedly asked for the one tv to be put to the Bruins playoff game. There was nobody else there watching TV and unsure why we had to ask repeatedly that and drinks. Just not a very smooth night. Most of my friends had been there for brunch but it had been a while since we had been there. But unsure if anyone will be rushing back. Except for the nachos - those were incredible!!!
Food was delish
Amazing brunch and affordable!
Server was great.
Nice place but food was off.
