   The service was terrible at McCormick and Schmicks. Waitress was in a bad mood from the start and took it out on all of the customers. She got mad when we asked any questions about the Dinner Menu. The food was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced, rating is a 4.2 out of 10, enough said.

   I made a reservation to have my birthday dinner. Once I got seated, I waited for at least 15 minutes before a waiter could notice my presence. I waited for so long that I already knew what to order. Once the waiter finally got to me, he served me some water and took my order. Again, there was another wait time before my drink was brought to me. When the waiter brought my food, he left it about two tables away from mine (still on the cart), he took an item from the cart and went to attend to another guest. There we go, having people walking around that cart of open food, breathing and talking around it. My food was neglected. The steak was not as tasty as I thought it would be. I had a worst birthday dinner at this restaurant. I'm more than disappointed.

   I have been to this restaurant a couple of years ago and the food was much better. We ordered the swordfish and ahi tuna. The swordfish was dry and so was the crabmeat topping which fell apart. The tuna was very chewy. The waiter was very pleasant but not once did anyone come to the table to refill the water. A lot of better places to eat Atlantic City.

   This restaurant was very expensive and had a limited menu. Food was not that great for as much as it cost. Waiter provided good service but the restaurant was freezing. We had to put coats on to be warm enough to eat. Not a great experience.

   Food was excellent, service friendly, and relaxing quite decor. A great for just a break from the casino noise or for a business dinner , which is what I chose it for. Highly recommend and will be returning

   We went to Atlantic City location many time and it was not bad. but we went two last times last nite for Sunday before Memorial Day and I don’t think we will be going there again any time soon we were seated at the table and our server try really hard to be attentive ,, but he was way to be busy, running around ,, you can tell he was overbooked with tables.. the food what was available that night , was average and you can tell ,, that my husband fish what was premade before hand ,,shrimps were overdone and tough . And for extra fun,, next to us a group of people sit down they wearing ripped shorts and had huge back packs like they just got back from the beach and they were sweaty and dirty … you go to a nice place and high end place. Restaurant and you have dress code like this? Not acceptable ! Management should reconsider dress code policy and have more workers available

    2nd time dining with my husband. We love it. They have the option to close the curtains for privacy, and we love that. That makes the date more intimate. The food was just as good as I remembered it. I had the Seabass, He had the Ribeye, we also had the Parm encrusted Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail and the Hot n Spicy Calamari..... we will be back again.     We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. From the soup to the entre every thing was perfect. Our waitress was excellent . She made our dinner enjoyable. I think the clam chowder was the best I ever had. The shrimp over pasta was excellent. The only drawback is if you want to use your player comps from Harrahs you have to use double comps.

    The food is typically good. The service is predictably poor. Each time we come the server is slow to come, then disappears. There have been occasions when I had to go find him. I didn't have to do that Friday. However since at least 25% of the tables were empty, there was no reason our server disappeared. When I did track him down and we ordered 2nd glasses of wine, it was so long coming that we were finished our food.

    Food was great value for the price. Service was great, I forgot my servers name but he was excellent, has a 7 month old baby so best of luck to him. Wasn't too overpriced like you would expect from Atlantic City. Was a little too casual and loud which I wasn't expecting. I would go back.

    We arrived and time and were seated promptly. Service was professional, timely, and so warm and friendly, even after the restaurant filled with large tables (clearly convention attendees) soon after we arrived. Asked for a special appetizer (cold seafood platter for two), and our server facilitated that through the kitchen. Oysters weren't as plump as they could have been ,and crab legs were thin, but we assumed that this had more to do with supply and time of year than the kitchen. Felt we overpaid for this appetizer, as a result. Cocktails were perfect, and the lovely complimentary creme brulee for my sister's birthday was much appreciated. A lovely evening!

    Loved the food....husband got ribeye steak and boy was it seasoned to perfection! We also had sautéed spinach which was beyond fresh...NEVER had a bad experience here!!

    First and last time at M&S. Hostess looked so depressed we thought she just came from a funeral. Server was inattentive and it seemed like she just was hoping for big tips from the larger tables. Food was awful. Our "filet" was half an inch thick and had no taste. Drinks were even worse. My wife's drink was warm (???) and mine tasted like they forgot half of what should've been in it.     My wife and I were celebrating our 28th anniversary. When reservations were made it asked for any special request and I did but, it was never mentioned during our entire evening. Our server (Kevin) was so awesome, attentive, personable and welcoming. During one of his frequent visits to our table to ensure we had everything we needed he actually asked us was there an occasion for us joining him that evening and I indicated it was our 28th anniversary and was so excited for us and offered a special dessert for us but, at the end of the meal we were full. The fish dinners we ordered were excellent! A little more attention to minor cleanliness issues were needed. Our silverware were actually stuck to the placemat, a fruit fly (I guess it was) on the menu and my linen napkin was visibly stained and soiled, thankfully there was another setting at our table in which I used that napkin. Overall, the visit was fine especially because if the incredible service provided by Kevin!!! We will certainly ask for him upon our next visit!

    Upon checking in, the hostess was not welcoming. We were seated in a booth next to the window so the view was nice overlooking the water! Our waitress seemed a bit agitated during the beginning of our dining experience but eventually seemed to warm up to serving. When we asked about the size of the shrimp (to determine if we wanted 4 or 6) her reply was simply "they're shrimp" and when refilling my water glass, she overfilled it twice, leaving a puddle of water on the table but only brought over napkins after the 2nd time to sop some of the water up. While the bacon was crispy on the shrimp appetizer, the cheese & sauce were barely noticeable, definitely could've used more. Our steak and salmon dinners were cooked & seasoned well. The sides of mashed pot, lobster mashed potatoes & spinach were also tasty. We did ask the waitress to open the blinds as it was very dark & we wanted to enjoy the sunset a bit more, she was very accommodating. However, after lifting the blinds, it was very noticeable that they don't wipe the windowsills down as there were a lot of dead bugs. Overall, not bad but I would try another place when back in the area.
