   The food is mind blowing in taste and quality. Staff are attentive to all details. Ask for a tour of the kitchen and you can check out the the science that is is being used to create the next dishes.

   I could eulogise for hours on how perfect the food and service are but I think it’s better just to tell you that if you love brilliantly cooked food and service then you have to eat at Midsummer House. Thank you to Daniel, Mark and their fabulous team for a perfect night on my wife’s birthday. It was faultless and I can’t give any higher praise than that.

   Impeccably crafted dishes, with even better wine pairing that elevates both the dish and the wine. Service was fantastic. I was here 10 years ago on my birthday, now back 10 years later to the very day. No regrets. Kudos to the chef and the team. Outstanding and memorable.

   Exceptional food and service, attention to detail second to none - cannot fault it. Daniel's 'Out of My Tree' book is an amazing read - and has inspired us to at least attempt some of his simpler recipes. Thank you.

   A wonderful culinary journey thanks to the chefs and front house staff. Every dish on the tasting menu is full of creative and delicious combinations of ingredients, forms, and flavors. The service is above and beyond, warm and really knowledgeable about the menu. My guests are all delighted, including the little one! (Just a little suggestion: perhaps a central theme or narrative to connect the dots? We felt slightly lost in the bountiful forest.) The dining room has a wonderful glass roof and a nice garden view, and the lounge upstairs looks onto the tranquil river flow. This is THE place for important guests in Cambridge. Looking forward to trying new creations.

    Absolutely fabulous. Said what was on the tin and more! The staff were amazing - very knowledgeable and lovely people too! Of course it was pricey but we knew the exact cost when we booked. Better than first class!

    The thing I would add to other comments is that we tried the flight of non-alcoholic drinks that have been especially created by the in-house team. We are usually alcohol drinkers and there is an excellent wine list at Midsummer House, so the non-alcohol flight was a bit of a punt but it was largely likeable and some of the drinks were outstanding.

    The service was just impeccable and the food was beautiful. I would highly recommend Midsummer House for a wonderful evening. We also had the wine flight and the wines were delightful and the pairings were excellent. We will return to see both Mark (Head Chef) and Katie our super service / waiter. Thank you.

    Fantastic experience. We've wanted to visit Midsummer for a long time and eventually got to do so and we was not disappointed. From the moment we was greeted at the door, to the moment we left, it was outstanding. We even got to be shown round the kitchen, where the magic happens, by the Head Chef, Mark Abbott. It is truly worth the 2 Michelin stars, but in our opinion, it should have the 3 star Michelin accreditation.

    Absolutely incredible! Worth every penny for the experience. This is a truly once in a lifetime dining experience that I can only hope everyone has the opportunity to experience.     I was treated to lunch at Midsummer House for my 60th birthday. Every aspect of the lunch from contact prior to the booking to the visit for lunch itself was absolutely amazing. All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, we had a guide dog with us and they couldn’t be more helpful with “Parker”. All the courses at the lunch were incredible, beautiful to look at and amazing to taste. It was interesting to hear about and enjoy the champagnes and wines. I absolutely loved the “Mac and cheese” and desperately tried and failed to find the recipe online. Will just have to come back to Midsummer House to enjoy it again.

    This is the peak of fine dining. Incredible food from top chefs with the best service you could wish for. It genuinely does not get better. This is an experience worth every penny spent and then some.

    This was a fantastic experience for the celebration of my partners birthday. There was even a birthday card on the table for her. The Chef's is phenomenal, not just recipes, but a life story, simply brilliant. All the staff were amazing, we were even given a tour of the kitchen which really pleased my food girlfriend completely. Details are key to us, and details were a constant through everything at Midsummer, through the food, the environment, the team and beyond. This is an experience not to be missed, save up, take some time and try it, even if it's only once. I used to have a preconceived understanding of what fine dining is, but I was wrong. Midsummer provides art in the form of food, service and environment. It's like theatre for the appetite.

    We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and the little things, such as birthday card on the table and signed book by the chef to my wife made the experience in more meaningful then it already was. The staff were fantastic which made the experience great and one to remember.

    Midsummer House in Cambridge - a fantastic experience. From the mushroom broth amuse bouche to the perfectly cooked scallops, the amazingly tender slow braised beef (hiding in a suet pudding) and the delicious tarragon chocolate at the end, it was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Service was friendly but not overbearing and we were taken for a look round the kitchen which was fascinating.

    Midsummer House Restaurant, Cambridge. Very interesting meal excellently executed with great service. Having said that felt that some of the flavour combinations did not work too well, eg venison with chocolate chip crust; others were brilliant including some great puddngs.
