This place was amazing! Food was awesome and the service was great! It's definitely a great find. It seems way out in the middle of no where, however you won't be disappointed. I would return again both for business and pleasure. Great place to visit.
Always excellent. Downside is it’s difficult to get an outside patio table do reserve early
We are never disappointed when we eat at Monocacy Crossing.
Loved the quiche! Love the duck nachos! Great service! All servers very sweet and attentive
Actually, the only reason I had a problem with the ambiance was that we were freezing. The temperature had dropped, and it was either raining or damp the entire time we were there. Despite that, we enjoyed the meal and will return, probably with friends, for dinner and probably brunch again.
First time attending and will not be the last. My parents come for a visit in Frederick and we decided to try Monocacy Crossing. Definitely a good choice!
We enjoyed eating out side for brunch. Prices reasonable and the menu has interesting choices. Staff always pleasant and prompt.
Been there many times and always operates at a high level.
Not as great as it used to be. Good didn’t wow any of us.
I was impressed with the variety on their food and drink menus during the pandemic. Everything my party ordered was excellent. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.
They made their COVID-19 policies very clear and provided three different seating options when making a reservation.
BEST calamari we’ve ever had! Really, really good NY strip. Awesome shrimp and scallops - we loved everything we had! Will be back!
Great meal! We will be back!
Have NEVER been disappointed at MC
Get together with good friends for drinks and dinner on the patio. Love the long list of snacks and appetizers, as well as specials. Dinner was superb!
Great food and wonderful service! Can’t wait to go back.
The food was fabulous, the server was very nice and maybe could have been a little more attentive, but she was busy. It was outdoors and gorgeous day. I kind of enjoyed eating outside. It was a wonderful day. Monocacy Crossing, you do not disappoint!
Amazing food and great service.
Fried devil eggs with crab yum!
Great brunch cocktails
Delicious and Delightful . My Peeps and I closed the joint!
great meal as always! Tried the Short Rib special and the seafood pappardelle. Both were excellent dishes
Fabulous food and atmosphere. Very moderately priced for the special menu. Love this place.
We ate outside. They were COVID conscious. The food, our waitress and the outside seating arrangement was awesome. I have never had a bad meal at Monocacy Crossing..
As usual, great food and great service. Get the Pork Tenderloin. Love this place!
Good and good
Continuous excellent service and food is worthy of multiple repeat visits.
The buttermilk chicken was sweet and moist. The potions are generous. The artichoke appetizers and calamari are outstanding. Can't go wrong with any option on the menu. Often have interesting specials, kangaroo, John Dory or Lous de Mer that never disappoint.
I had the monkfish special. It was outstanding. My wife had shrimp and grits and she thought it was great,
Always great service and food. Best to make a reservation
All of the food was amazing! They have the best seared tuna around.
My wife and I really enjoyed our time out. It's been awhile since we have gone out to dinner. But since you have the outside dining area. It made it very comfortable to be in. The drinks, appetizers and food are exceptional. Always a treat to go. And Becca was very helpful with our questions and her service. Thank you again, David.
Always a special meal... food was superb. We dined inside but the patio area looks inviting for our next visit.
We hadn't eaten at Monocacy Crossing for years but snagged a last-minute reservation there for Easter Sunday brunch. They had some drink specials on the menu, so we started things off with cocktails. Smokey Sunrise for me and a boozy coffee drink for my partner. When they ask if you want bread, say yes. They served us fresh, warm raisin bread, and brought us more when we asked for seconds. Yum. As for the mains, I had a generous portion of chorizo quiche which came with a nice side salad. She had Belgian waffles with bacon. Food was great. No dessert for me, even though I was tempted. She had something involving bread pudding and whipped cream that made her smile. Service was friendly and attentive. We sat inside at one of the high top tables near the front windows. They have a very nice outdoor eating area if you are smart enough to reserve one of those tables. That's the only thing I would do differently. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.
great food and ambiance. took a friend there for her first time. she loved it.
It's always a good time at the Monocacy Crossing but the new Spring menu is a fun change. I had the new salmon dish this weekend. It was delicious. You cannot go wrong here. Great food, super servers.
Great experience, as always. Everyone in our party enjoyed.
It’s been a long time since we dined here. The restaurant had been renovated, yet it still seemed dated and worn in places. Our server was top notch, introduced herself (Cheryl) and brought our drinks and food out very quickly. The food was good, although nothing special. The creme brûlée was too “custardy” for our taste. The wine list by the glass was very limited.
Overall, it was a pleasant dinner. We noted extensive outdoor seating which would be a very nice alternative to eating indoors once warmer weather arrives!
Excellent food would recommend
The food is always delicious and the staff is very personable. We love this place.
We went for brunch - The fried deviled eggs with crab were to die for!! The bread...yummm. The service was great too.
Love the new spring menu! New additions plus the return of some old favorites!
