Best meal we’ve had in a long time. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Great food. Nice job everyone.
Sat at the bar for a drink before dinner and the bartenders were very friendly, offered the jumbo ice cube for my scotch. Dinner was great the waiter was not pushy or rushing. I had the Australian rib eye it was superb.
A great surprise. Moo is on the pricey side of dinners in Boston, but the service was excellent as was the food. Portions are generous and very nicely presented. The appetizers were more creative and delicious than the main dishes, which are delicious cuts of steak. The Lobster Bisque and Bone Marrow appetizers were fantastic.
Service and food were amazing. I think Moo has the most delicious brunch in Boston!
My daughter and husband steaks were dry. They also had a side order of broccoli which was burnt as well
best restaurant I have ever been to.
best bar I have ever sat at.
best dinner I have ever experienced.
best dessert I have ever had.
best server I have ever had.
however the portions very small.
the meat in the Wellington should not have had to been cut with a serrated knife.
that's all I have negative I will be going back lots...it is very expensive though.
The service in the atmosphere is worth the price itself
Have been dining at Mooo for years. Always consistent, excellent service and food all managed under an excellent General Manager.
Great food and service. Slightly noisy as it is a relatively small restaurant. Ambiance was nice although lighting was somewhat dim as we had to use iPhone flashlights to read the menu.
Parking can be a problem as the restaurant is in a busy street with limited, but expensive parking options. Valet was available for $20.
Great restaurant for a special occasion.
We had a lovely Dinner - would have preferred a better table - We were in the far corner
But service and food was outstanding
The waiter brought a bottle of wine that was more expensive than the one we orderes. Since it was dark, we didn’t realize it until the check came
Mooo does not disappoint!! Everything is 5 stars about this restaurant. The waitstaff was very personable and knowledgeable about the entire menu. The restaurant is beautiful with a very low noise level.
We had 4 in our party, we all had something totally different on the menu. My husband had the sea bass and said it was the best he has ever had. He travels a lot for his job and he eats at many high end restaurants so this was a big deal! I had the Australian ribeye and it was tender and so tasty!! Our friends had the chicken cornish game hen and pork chop and they also both raved about their meals! Along with the entrees we ordered the asparagus, whipped potatoes and broccoli , they too were incredible!!
Yes the prices are high, but you definitely get what you pay for!! I can not think of a negative comment about Mooo!! We will definitely go back again and again!
lovely food, lovely staff! would absolutely go back.
Steak was fatty and burnt !!
I have been living in NYC for the last 25 years but travel back to Boston all the time for business. Mooo is the best I have had in years. I highly recommend the Dumplings and any of the salads.
Unbelievable. The best meal I’ve ever had. Thank you!
One of our favorite places in Boston. Terrific food and service, interesting preparation, and to do for sides.
Great service, great meal. Look forward to dining again.
Everything was as expected for such an establishment. Keep up the good work.
Great experience! Absolutely would recommend for a memorable dinner.
Mooo was fantastic. We were here for a birthday and our waiter was excellent. The food was outstanding. It is easily the best steak I have had in Boston. The decor was very nice. The lighting and high back chairs were perfect for an intimate dining experience. Go and try it out I'd be shocked if you didn't enjoy it! Thank you Nelson and Mooo for making it a wonderful evening.
My only non-complaint (just some feedback) is regarding phone calls and picture taking at the restaurant. We had a couple that was taking pictures with a full camera and a light that changed the lighting in the entire restaurant at each course change and another couple that took a multi-minute phone call on their ear with the flashlight on and pointed at our table. Not exactly Mooo's fault, but it would be nice if picture taking could be limited to phones (or ban external lights that change the mood lighting) and calls could be taken via headset without the flashlight on. Tough to legislate courtesy.
Damon was great, very professional. Food was excellent. Only con was the placement of the table we sat at and the tables to our left / behind us. There was little room to spare or navigate to our seats. Don’t cram seats in create more space to enjoy dinner
Food was superb, and service was good overall
The food here was amazing. Service could have been better for the price tag. Our waiter disappeared for over a half hour and left the table waiting for drinks. After he reappeared, it was on point for the rest of the meal. Cook on the steaks was spot on for everyone. Certainly not a cheap place to eat, but it lived up to our high expectations. Everyone had a great meal. We were able to have a great conversation for a few hours despite the dining room being full.
From the rolls to the dessert, we were so happy with our food and service! The bone marrow was cooked perfectly, and my Pittsburgh style filet was very tasty! The creamed spinach was a bit lackluster, but still tasted good with the steak.
The only real complaint that I had was something I would never feel comfortable saying at the restaurant. One of the hostesses was wearing an incredibly short and tight dress that she has to keep pulling down every five seconds. At one point it rode up so much as she was walking by that I could see her underwear. It anything, I felt embarrassed for her, but it just didn’t seem appropriate in an otherwise elegant setting.
My fiance and I wanted to try this restaurant for quite some time and I'm so glad we finally did. We absolutely loved the food and the service. Everything was great. Cannot wait to go back!
First time dining at Mooo... fantastic! From food to service one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Did not expect to be seated in one of the three tables in the bar. Had people coming in and out both entrances and walking by us all night long. Bright street lights glaring in my eyes. Service was polite and met expectations. Very disappointed with my ny sirloin. Was not medium rare. Ends bordered on medium well. I think it sat too long before being served. Dessert chocolate cake was dried out.
Wine list is impressive but pricing is ridiculous. Bottles at 400% of retail cost. Not likely to return. Too many other great restaurants including Columbus owned properties out there.
Service is excellent! Servers are very polite and always check on what we need. They make sure whether it's better for us if they split the order for us. Very relaxing and romantic atmosphere!
Phenomenal. Service, Food, Portions, Ambiance; nothing short of outstanding.
Great spot for special occasion or just to treat yourself to amazing meal. Broad menu, informed staff and delicious food. I really appreciated the extra information about the different types of beef served. Highly recommended!!!
Always a pleasure to dine at MOOO. They are extremely pleasant and accommodating. The food is wonderful and our server St. Clair is always a treat. Thank you.
We celebrated my wife's birthday and the staff could not have been friendlier or more professional. We were welcomed like we were regular customers although it was our first time dining there. They accommodated a request by one of our daughters to purchase a drink for us. The server was attentive but not overly so. Everything was cooked perfectly and they surprised her with a birthday desert. My only disappointment was that the sirloin was not as tasty as other, more expensive that I have had in similar restaurants.
Wonderful service,ambiance and food!
Brunch. Very nice and very good food and service.
A special dining experience with great food only exceeded by the service
This was my second visit to Mooo and it was even better this time! My boyfriend and I got there right at five and the dining room filled up pretty soon after we got there.
We split the lobster bisque for an app and it was just delicious - it literally tastes like drinking lobster and butter. I don't think I'd ever come here and not get this, it's just that good.
We each had a steak for our entree - I had the 8 oz. filet mignon, he had the pepper-crusted porterhouse. I think mine was a little better, but both were great. With our entrees we got the smaller side flight and it was WAY too much. It comes with mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, creamed spinach, and truffle fries. If you're thinking about getting at least two of those sides, it's worth it, but two people wouldn't be able to finish it unless you're not getting any apps or desserts.
We were way too full, but got dessert anyway. Creme brulee. Perfect.
Service was great too!
I have no complaints at all. Mooo is my favorite restaurant in Boston.
Creative approach to the steak house concept. Lots of interesting cuts and a wide array of sides. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Quality comes at a cost. One bottle of wine for a party of 6 (most not drinking) and the tab (with tip) hit $100 per. With that caveat, it was worth it.
Food was fantastic
The staff went above and beyond to celebrate my son’s 21st Birthday - the menu was printed with HBD, the wrote on plate as well as candles.
Food was delicious and staff was very attentive as well as courteous.
