   Highly recommend this place. Went with 4 friends - non of us vegi/vegan as it happens, and all our food was beautifully cooked and presented. Very tasty and non of the oily / greasy sauces sometimes found elsewhere. The staff were excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to chat about the food choices and their ethos. I will definitely be returning to my new favourite restaurant.

   Amazing! We arrived not knowing it was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant but we decided to stay and they made us very welcome. They guided us through the menu and we were pleasantly surprised. They were very helpful and they also made my dad feel special as it was his birthday. Highly recommended and would definitely book again

   Was fairly busy as was Mother's Day, which was to be expected (we were there for a birthday meal). We were the first booking slot of the day. Once we sat at the table, our feet stuck to the floor, where it was dirty with spilt drinks, presumably from the previous day (or maybe older). The sticky dirty patches were visible on the flooring under the whole table. Not pleasant and made us question hygiene in other areas of the restaurant, if they don't even clean the floors. My son's drink came with a hair in it (was replaced as soon as we pointed it out the the server). The food was of reasonable quality and well cooked, not too oily, but very salty. When the bill arrived we had been overcharged by more than £40. This was again resolved straight away when pointed out, but I wonder how many people do not realise and would have just paid. All of these issues kind of spoilt the meal for us and sadly I don't think we will return - we have eaten here a few times now and have had similar minor issues previously.

   A very nice Indian restaurant right across the road from Cambridge Castle (and car park) and not far from the river and the main centre of the city. The food was inventive and very tasty and the service was quick and friendly.

   Great food, however service was a bit slow on the day. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our plates to clear and to order more. Definitely would expect better service, however the food was good

   Very good food. But we were early seated, last served. Wait staff was plentiful but neglected our table even with the check. Have since gone back. Service still meh but food consistently good.

   My food was very tasty but a little bit spicier than I thought it would be. The ambience was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely pay another visit to Namaste Village.

    Limited menu choice, no balti dishes. whilst eating popadoms our starters came out. Whilst just finishing our starters our mains came out when we like a breather. Green Mint sauce was not too our taste and got charged when asked for a alternative one. Not a good first time experience. Well decorated and good ambiance.

    Excellent food. Service fine but required a fair bit of waving and repetition of requests. A bit strange to make surchages for vegan versions of some dishes. Would happily go back.

    Very bad&poor service especially from some of the lady staffs. They have clear preference for their customers and it took you a long while to take an oder and finally the food is in your table. If you are going with small children pls make sure that they are already feed properly, otherwise it’s going to be a disaster. Food is ok and some of them are extremely spicy.!!

    We had the Valentines menu; 5 set course. We were served 4 set course even though we asked for the nibbles but never brought it. Friendly people working there but their English is poor for most of them, difficult to understand. The table we were initially was given it was in front of the bar where they were serving full of light. I was disappointed for a Valentine's date. Having said that, they managed to give us a much better better as there was a cancellation. Food was tasty but starters veeeery spicy.

    Food was amazing, 10/10! However the service was awful, the worst service I’ve ever had in my life. The staff were friendly but just so so slow. We were there 15 minutes without a menu or a drink, and we had been there for an hour and 40 minutes when we finally received the main.

    Terrible. We waited for 2 hours for our food. Instead of apologising and keeping us in the loop the waiters and waitresses just avoided eye contact. No apologies what so ever. The only food which was coming out of the kitchen was for deliveroo drivers. If you cannot serve the customers in your restaurant you should not be taking takeaway orders. Your priorities are all wrong. You should not be able to add service charge to your bill if there is no service.

    Amazing vegan food, so many different tastes and flavours. Good value. Maybe it would have been better if you’d read my special request about my sister’s allergy to tomato before we arrived but you did well to deal with it on the spot. Would definitely return.

    Fantastic selection of authentic Indian cuisine, all vegetarian with a fantastic range of vegan food as well. If you're vegan/plant-based, here you can have all of your favourites again! Mango lassi, "chicken" jalfrezi, even "prawns'! - all vegan, plant based and delicious! Will certainly be coming back.

    The food was delicious and helpings were great. There was a mis-understanding with some of the dishes which we weren't expecting to have cheese in, but the staff were very helpful and brought new dishes without a problem. Four of us went for NYE and we had a lovely time

    From the friendly welcome and warm ambience to the incredibly delicious appetizers and main dishes, our family evening out was excellent. We were amazed at the delicious flavours and freshness, expertly prepared. No two dishes were alike, and the naan bread was fresh from the oven, so aromatic and soft. Really lovely! Thank you so very much for making this a dinner to remember!!

    We received a warm welcome. At6pm on a Saturday the restaurant had a number of tables occupied but there was plenty of room and service was good. The waiter was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. There were a good number of choices for my FODMAP requirements and food as good.

    In the name of cleaning, the food is swept from the table onto the floor. The jackfruit biryani that we had was more of cinnamon rice with uncooked rice and very mushy jackfruit. The channa masala was very salty. Overall a bad experience both the times we have dined.

    Absolutely wonderful food. The flavours really shone through and were clean, pure and unadulterated by meat fat. The staff are polite and attentive and you feel as though they really care. Will definitely be going again.

    Went to this restaurant at midday with two others. We were pleasantly surprised by how marvellous the food tasted. It was terrific and the service from Jemin was excellent, would highly recommend!
