   Great views but very disappointing service. Felt apart from the younger dark haired girl our waiter and the manager were a bit surly and it was a bother to serve us. Letting us order a round of drinks then telling us 5mins after they arrived that they urgently needed our table bank was not on. Although to be fair they didn’t hassle us and we stayed another 30mins. Just as an aside a selection of Alcohol Free drinks would have been nice. Lot’s available on the market nowadays. I would recommend to go once to see the views.

   Unfortunately there were a couple of items on the menu which were not available The girl serving us was new and didn’t even know what Gorgonzola was?!?! We didn’t leave the included discretionary tip Unusual Due to the limited menu

   Prices are high but experience and service doesn’t match this! Cash not accepted either, this should be communicated before people arrive with only cash to pay!

   Service was pretty poor to be honest. Took ages to take our order & had to hunt people out to place additional orders. We also had to ask twice for our bill to be brought. For the prices you’re charging, I’d expect a higher level of service. The staff were very friendly & the decor is lovely, so it’s not all bad! 😊

   Great views of Edinburgh. Comfortable and plentiful seating. Great ambience Lush cocktails and efficient service with friendly staff. A little more pricey but worth it for the views. Quick and easy to book.

    Views are great, the nibbly food is nice but overpriced for what it is. Didn’t have much of an atmosphere, very much felt like a hotel bar. I’m sure it would be great in summer, will definitely return to enjoy the outside terrace then.

    Not the luxury experience I thought this would be! No record of our booking when we arrived do our table was well away from the windows, so no view. Also the furniture looked shabby with torn fabric. We live locally but I don't think we'll be back

    Got there and no one on the reception to show us to our table. Requested a table by the window however we were shown to a table beside the one beside a window. No acknowledgement of our request but it was still a reasonable table. The waiter did helpfully point out that our 4 glasses of champagne might be more economical to order a bottle which we did. He poured and left us. Despite asking for water for the table, no water appeared nor did he return to top the glasses up which I thought he might considering the encouraging start. So it was OK service wise and experience/ambiance wise but unfortunately nothing special. I know they can do better!

    Beautiful view and staff were initially very accommodating by giving us a nice table. However the service was very poor. Not enough staff on, every table around us waiting for drinks with one couple walking out without being served at all. We left £on table and left because no one came near us.

    Decent drinks, very nice views and pretty friendly staff for the most part. One staff member seemed to be a bit reluctant to serve water alongside alcoholic beverages - made to feel an inconvenience for asking. Also, asked if we'd like some popcorn or olives to accompany our drinks - accepted some olives. Was then surprised to see these added to the final bill - bit deceptive and misleading, and should have been made clear these were menu items. Other than that, little bit pricey for relative quality of drinks, but appreciate you're partially paying for the view.

    We visited for drinks and a light bite. We had a cocktail each (£12 each), pulled lamb pies with apricot (£12). The drinks were excellent and the pies were too but were smaller than I expected. The staff were pleasant and the view was excellent. The only real negatives are that one lift was out of service and the toilets desperately needed a wipe down and the bins needed emptying. However, I would return if I fancied a drink somewhere with a great view.

    Beautiful place and location but for us food was far too limited and not to our taste so only had drinks. Tip would be check menu before you go (we didn’t) views of city are fabulous and champagne plentiful. Would def recommend but for us just for drinks

    We didn’t eat. Staying in hotel so booked here to end our evening. Was told on arrival at 22.10 that last orders were 22.15. Yet didn’t close till 23.00?? Had I known we could have ended our evening elsewhere. Why stop 45 minutes before?? Losing money I’d say.

    Christmas Night Cocktails. This was fantastic experience. We wanted a nice, charming place to enjoy after dinner cocktails at and this was THE place! Positively perfect the wait staff were courteous, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere and cocktails - divine. We were a little early for our reservation, but we’re still greeted and seated within moments.

    A great bar with really great and friendly service. A lovely location and we love going there. We were celebrating an occasion and the team presented us with a card and chocolates which was such a nice and thoughtful touch! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.
