Waiter did not seem to care about our table of 9-he wined and dined the other tables he had and they got fresh parmesan and we got shakers. He never asked if we wanted more drinks and truly I was disappointed because it was my daughter's graduation and not one staff member said congrats. And not one person offered to even bring a piece if cake or anything to celebrate👎🏼Will NEVER go back!! For 350$ we deserved better

We are so excited for lunch, but that changed very quickly. We walked into the restaurant and were completely ignored by the hostess. When I finally went up to her she looked at me up and down then stared at me with this annoyed face. I told the hostess we had a reservation and she told me they were short staffed and told me write my name down on this tablet on the hostess stand. I was excited to take my family to lunch, but they also witnessed the hostesses behavior. That was a horrible way to start the meal. The food was mediocre,tables were to close together, but we did have a very nice waitress. Unfortunately the damage had been done by the hostess. I would not recommend going here.

We used open table to book a reservation. I guess I should have read the small print bc once you get there you get put on a waiting list. The hostess was extremely rude to me and my party while explaining this. The server never came back to offer us more water, we had to ask three times for a straw. They indicated they were understaffed. If they can do reservations, they should get off OpenTable.

Had a reservation but not seated for 45 minutes after—after that everything was rushed to get us out and someone else seated. Loud, staff not friendly, in fact ignored us for nearly 5 minutes after we entered the establishment with 3 young ladies at the front too busy talking and whatever—won’t be back.

We are Italians transplanted to TX from NY. In our 11 years living down here, Paesanos is the best Italian food we’ve had in TX. We started with the giant calamari, which lived up to its name. It was perfectly breaded and so tender. Our server brought us a side of Paesano sauce to dip bread and calamari in, and it was delicious. My husband had the soft shell crab special and I had the pork osso buco. Both entrees were huge and rich with flavor and texture. Our server was attentive and made great suggestions. We will definitely be back.

I spend a lot dining out and travel every week. I continue to be baffled how such a restaurant gets so many good reviews. I assume it’s lack of experience dining out of the reviewers. The shrimp paesanos was fantastic but the pork shank and steak was very poor quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella which my wife would normally devour was left due to the low quality of the Tomatoes. Would never visit the restaurant again. It was very loud, the bar did not fit the restaurant looked more like a hang out. While the odd person was dressed up, most customers had on shorts, jeans, t-shirts or baseball caps. Considering I spent $300 with tip for two people I should have perhaps gone to a Kirby’s.

We had a reservation but were left waiting for 30 minutes. The restaurant was very busy and we didn’t get service once we were seated for quite a while. We requested an ice bucket numerous times before we were given one for our Champagne. It was difficult to get anyone’s attention at all. I was disappointed.

Understanding that staffing is difficult lately and they may have been working with a small team, our food was unimpressive. I ordered the baked ravioli and it was 4 ravioli’s swimming in sauce. Same goes for the house salad; just lettuce and way too much dressing. The bread served before the meal was great as was our waiter.

Service was not up to the standard & I eat there a lot . We had an 11 am reservation and they were only 1/3 or less full. It took over 20 minutes to get water and then it came in a very dirty glass for one of them. They did replace it. We had to beg to place order when we finally saw waitress. She was very nice.

I am very upset with the service and quality of our last dining experience. This is not the Paesano’s I know. My poached salmon was delivered swimming in broth. I didn’t know you had salmon soup. I had to request for it to be completely drained so I could eat it. After that, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our side pasta dishes to arrive. Never in my life had I had this POOR service from this fine establishment. Meanwhile, I’m watching 2 front of house managers “hold up” the counters. What is going on Paesano’s???? The service was not even mediocre at best. I’m not spending my money for this type of crappy service.
