Fav restaurant in Boston. Best service, best food, always amazing.
The food, service and atmosphere are all outstanding. Can’t wait to go back
This was magnificent experience. The bolognese changed my life. Go here, you will be happy.
Great Food - Great People
The staff and Ownership at Pammy's only enhanced the whole experienced. Their attitude, helpfulness and warm personalities made great food even better.
This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. The menu provides lots of variety—both small plates to share and large plates for yourself. The food is delicious, the wait staff is helpful and the beverage options are great. We look forward to returning.
We had heard great things about Pammy’s and were looking forward to a special night out for my wife’s birthday. The waiter was cheerful and the ambience was fun. But the food was nothing special. There were many exotic ingredients listed on the menu - which sounded wonderful, but it did not translate into great cooking. The portions were so small we went home to get enough to eat. The prices seemed high for the quality of the food.
Per usual, Pammy’s was exceptional. I have been several times and never been disappointed with the food, atmosphere and service.
Food is phenomenal. I have eaten there 4 times and have never been disappointed. Service is also wonderful, friendly, inviting and helpful.
Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Boston-Cambridge. Never disappoints.
Our wedding anniversary dinner at Pammy's, was one of the best meals we've had in ages. Delicious food, marked by unexpected pairings, attentive and friendly service, and a delightful atmosphere combined to make for a wonderful meal. Highly recommended, particularly for anyone celebrating a special occasion.
always fabulous. love the décor, the food, the drinks, the people
What a neighborhood gem Pammy’s is! Enjoyed my first visit with a few dear friends in January 2020. Love the vibe, the charm, the bar, comfy booths and communal table in the dining room! Dinner menu faves included he Halibut crudo, octopus, and squid ink pasta. Admittedly, we found the pork a bit undercooked, and chicken a bit fatty, but that will not prevent us from returning real soon!
Everything about Pammys is incredible. The food, atmosphere, drinks, and service are so unique and so well assembled. Each dish has so much flavor and is so well balanced.
The food is great! Would def come back for another special occasion! Service is fast and attentive.
Exceptional service from our lovely waitress, who genuinely put our time there as her priority... first rate romantic meal or nouveau Italian cuisine... well worth a place in your dining out rotation.
Fabulous food, but VERY expensive. One appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, one dessert, 4 glasses of wine was $150 before tip!
Went for the NYE course dinner. Loved every bite. Thank you so much!
The food was truly outstanding. The service was not very good, but that seemed specific to our server as I was watching all other servers give excellent service. From a good perspective I would rate this among some of the best I’ve experienced in Boston. I will definitely be returning.
Food good/servings modest. Waiter personable and efficient. In general, Pammy’s is a nice addition to the Boston restaurant scene, but a bit over-hyped.
My favorite place. It never misses. Food always goes beyond what my expectations are for each dish. Everytime I leave a make a new reservation for a few weeks out and always look forward to returning. I actually love the communal table - I find it one of the most beautiful places in the city to eat.
Pammy's is hands down one of the best restaurant additions to Boston/ Cambridge in the last decade. Our food was superb. Literally all of it- from the antipasti, to fois gras, to pasta, to venison, dessert, and everything in between. Service was great...a mixture of attentive and helpful while not bothering us as we ate. Music was loud enough we could hear and enjoy it but quiet enough we weren't talking over it. Fireplace was on, ambiance was intimate, and I'll 100% be back again.
Service at the group table was outstanding.
food was great.
We did not quite know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised by the great service and excellent food at Pammy's... We started off with the Burratta, crispy spaghetti squash, and garam masala which was a sublime blend of unexpected and excellent flavors. This was followed by delicious pasta (with chanterelles and almonds) and well presented branzino! Very good and attentive service as well... We were were fortunately there on the early side so had nice seats by the fireplace, but we did notice a significantly higher noise level as the place filled up (though never so loud that we could not have a pleasant discussion...)
Amazing. That is all.
The food and drinks are delicious. The Bolognaise is incredible. Service is a bit slow and portions are small, but everything else is amazing. I would highly recommend.
Food is always creative and delicious. Service attentive but not intrusive. They do try to honor seating requests. Best restaurant in Cambridge by far.
Family Holiday dinner. Service was excellent , festive holiday decorations . Most dishes were excellent , the chicken dish ordered by two in the party was just ok . Neither really liked it for different reasons, flavors seemed a bit overwhelming , too much in one dish.
Pammy and Lauren were amazing host!
This was our second time to Pammy's and will definitely return. The food is always delicious and the service good, but not great. It took quite a while to get our drinks as it did the first time we went. However, not bad enough to stop us from returning!!
Very aggressive plate management - multiple people asking us every two minutes if we were done, which made it very difficult to have a conversation.
It's unusual for me to like all aspects of a restaurant experience, but I did at Pammy's. All our food selections were tasty and kept our interest. Red wines can be hit or miss with me. I asked for something like a cab and our waitress recommended Tenuta Chevalier 2008, which was phenomenal. We asked for a relaxed pacing and got that seamlessly. The decor was thoughtful and pleasing. We were seated at a communal table and had a little interaction with our neighbors, which was pleasant.
Beautiful restaurant but the food was insanely salty! The bolognese could’ve been delicious but it hard to eat too much because of salt content. The venison was exquisite but the side of lentils was impossible to eat because of the salt. Not sure if this was an off night, but I was let down. Most likely won’t be back.
Unique and great tasting appetizers and entrees. Lively and cozy atmosphere along with unsurpassed service. It doesn't get any better than this!
Expensive, but the quality of service and food is excellent. I went there to celebrate my anniversary.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Pammy’s! The food was amazing, service was exceptional and ambience lovely. I’d go back again for a special dinner!
My dance company performs annually at the Dance Complex just down Mass Ave from Pammy's. Each year, after one of the performances we all go to Pammy's (as many as 15 of us). This was our 4th year! It's hard to choose what is the best thing about Pammy's: the cooking, the beverages, or the staff. All are phenomenal. The staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and a distinct pleasure. The cocktails are always inventive, and tasty. This year we were lucky enough to sample Mia's "fake" Bailey's. Fantastic. Which brings me to the food. The menu is continually changing (which can be disappointing as I fantasize about returning to some of my favorite dishes) from one surprisingly stunning combination of flavors (chocolate and horseradish oxtail ragu? Swordfish belly? Hell, yes!) to hearty plates of pure decadence (the fois gras torchon, the broth with the mussels, the beautiful bolognese). Can't rave enough. Can't wait to return next year...if not sooner!
We had heard a lot about Pammy's from local friends and decided to give it a try. The food was amazing and the vibe was fun---we came home and made reservations right away for a repeat visit!
Amazing from start to finish! As always!
Another fantastic meal at Pammy's. From the moment we walked in a were greeted by Pammy (talk about warmth) it was an evening filled with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. We brought 2 friends who were newbies, and they were smitten, too. We ordered an antipasto appetizer, fish, pasta, risotto, etc. Our waiter was lovely and knowledgeable and made good recommendations for wine. The only challenge was finishing work in time for our 5:30pm reservation (it was that or 900pm)! Looking forward to our next special meal at Pammy's .
This super trendy Italian eatery has a great atmosphere - and because it's always crowded, you can count on it being noisy. The food is fine, which I know sounds like faint praise. But honestly, as someone raised in Italy, I will continue to search the city for a truly authentic culinary experience. This isn't it. The food is fine at Pammy's, it's just nothing beyond the usual American-urban take on Italian food: small bowls of pasta that are slightly too fussy for $28. The chicken under a brick was delicious. The service was adequate if a bit indifferent. But it is popular, so maybe I'm missing what all the fuss is about.
