Just too damn loud. Food was very good to excellent. Antipasti board was good but not very creative -- nothing unusual or new here. Other apps and the entrees were better. Service was outstanding -- servers take a team approach and our water glasses were always full. Did get a bit pricey -- $420 with tax and tip for 4 of us. Yes, two bottles of wine, but they were reasonably priced around $70 each.
A gurl walks into a bar..... two friends already there yucking it up with the bartender. Jokes and smiles were shared as we were escorted to our table. A booth no less!!
More drink orders were taken, apps shared, more laughter and stories told. Lots of sharing of experiences and food. Our server a delight. As we exited the bartender called our friend over by name! She remembered her drink choice as well. The owner thanked us and we thanked her with a promise to return soon. A lovely fun experience hitting high marks all round. Thank you Pammys. See you soon.
I love Pammy's, but this was a special occasion (my wife's 30th birthday) and I was hoping they would do something to make it feel special. They did not. Not sure I'll recommend for special occasions.
Waiter was awesome, food was incredible. Can’t wait to go back!
Always a standout. The preparation of each dish usually exceeds my expectations - - inventive with a strong flavor profile. Service is consistently top notch. I think its one of the prettiest restaurants there is and its always a great energy there. I always rebook my next visit while I am there.
Love the food here - our mains took some time to prepare for some reason (longer than I would expect) but it was worth it!
Exceptional in every way. Pammy's is an amazing addition to the Red Line
Food and service both were more than lovely. Politely enthusiastic waitperson. Pretty dining room. The major downside was the noise level as it was challenging to hear one's dinner companions during normal conversation.
We loved almost everything about our visit to Pammy's. The food was outstanding, with innovative combinations and fresh, flavorful ingredients. The Bluefin Tartare and the skate were to die for. The service was also outstanding. Our main server was friendly but not overly so, attentive without hovering, and almost best of all, very knowledgable about both the food and the wines. She also offered tastes of the wines-by-the-glass, an extravagant service I've not seen before. My only complaint -- and this is almost a universal complaint, these days -- is the noise level. "Energetic" is a nice euphemism; deafening is more like it. Here we were, sitting across a small table from each other and able to do whatever amount of lip-reading happens unconsciously, and we could barely conduct a conversation. Luckily our nearest (very near) neighbors were not loud, which helped -- unlike another recent noisy restaurant experience we had. The prices were a bit higher than our comfort level for non-special-occasion dinners, but this was a great choice for our anniversary celebration.
Pammy’s was an incredible dining experience. Got all the benefits of a local neighborhood restaurant (friendly service, intimate interior, etc.) combined with the food quality and standards of a fine dining establishment. The dishes were all very inventive (shout-out to the gochujang bolognese Lumache) but never pretentious and the unique flavors worked together very naturally. Amazing experience and would recommend to anybody
Incredible food! Restaurant was a bit too cold (and we typically run hot and love restaurants on the cooler side)! It was so cold we had to move from a booth to the big table which was great too. The pork chop and lamp chops were out of this world amazing. The grilled octopus and swordfish taco starters are can’t miss. Seriously—five star food big on bold, inventive flavors. A MUST!
Amazing food. Amazing staff
A wonderful atmosphere, excellent staff, and scrumptious food. We had cocktails, wine, shared appetizers, mains each, and shared a dessert. Every single dish and all the drinks were tasty; the dishes each had fantastic flavours - fresh, inventive, satisfying. The only thing that will prevent us from coming back frequently is that it was very expensive - ended up being $100 per person. Just so you know...
LOVE THIS PLACE! EXCELLENT STAFF AND WINE PLUS OH YES THE FOOD IS AWESOME.
Fantastic meal in an elegant room. Also best mocktail ever from the bartender.
Can’t wait to go back. It was exceptional. Date night, Tuesday night or any old night, I would eat here all the time.
Corn brodo might be the best thing I've ever tasted
Love that there are half-pours of negronis
Dessert was unremarkable (and as usual the dinner dishes proper eclipse everything)
Good service, got us in and out quickly in time to make theater plans
Hard to get into Pammy's and still it's soooo worth it
The atmosphere and food at Pammy’s were both wonderful. We started with the corn brodo, the blue fin and the risotto and all were delicious - with the risotto and corn brodo being stand out favorites. I got the gnocchi with peas and candies pine nuts for my main and, while absolutely delicious, it was a bit sparse for the price point. I was left still a bit hungry after eating the 15 or so gnocchi on the plate. Overall, a wonderful experience and the squid ink pasta that my friend got was much more abundant than my gnocchi so not all the portions were too small. Would recommend!
Most of food was extremely good. A side dish or two was not up to par. Most servers excellent, one was not so good at all.
Fabulous meal all around. A real treasure trove for foodies!
What a gorgeous and delicious restaurant. Our waiter was superb and wine and food extraordinary. My favourite new place in Boston!
Food and service continue to be very good. Dessert offerings though were a real disappointment as options and diversity were limited.
However, the noise level is so loud that it makes having a conversation even with just two couples a challenge. We were hoarse by the time we left. While
the food is a real draw we agreed among ourselves that it is unlikely we will return given the noise levels. There are so many other high quality foodie restaurants
available now where we can have a conversation and hear each other.
Excellent food and service!
All the food was terrific, great service, a smiley waiter, will definitely return
Finally made it to Pammys after having it recommended to us by several friends. Great place, service was impeccable and the food even better. Will definitely be back.
The food was stellar & very pretty to look at.
The flowers around the restaurant were beautiful.
This place was freaking amazing. Food. Service. Everything.
Food good, service good, portions small, kitchen worker surcharge definitely not welcome.
Wonderful food service and atmosphere! I’m already planning my next meal there!
the place is noisy - not conducive for any conversation.
Pammy’s goes beyond ordinary in Italian cuisine. The menu is varied and unique, however, it’s the preparation and flavors that make it outstanding. The bolognese is brilliant. Smooth creamy like texture with just the right zip. The octopus app did not disappoint. Tender bites of “meaty” octopus with a dollop of ink sauce that matches perfectly. Melt in your mouth gnocchi with a lovely pesto style green sauce. Service matched the food. The skate was also delicious, although bit small for a main. Wine by the glass, tops. Overall, fabulous meal and service in pleasant and pleasing surroundings. Thanks Pammy’s; Keep it going!
The combination of food is very interstring. I will definitely visit again!
Delicious dinner for birthday celebration. Our waitress was very kind and attentive.
Perfect experience except for the noise. Very loud.
Everything was perfect from the warm yet chic environment to the delicious, innovative, seasonal food to the excellent service. I plan on going back many more times.
Rustic chic ambiance and a delicious menu. I highly recommend the ‘Casper’ if you like tequila. It’s somehow milky but light and refreshing. Also the pasta was probably the best I’ve had in the Boston area - I tried both the squid ink pasta and cavatelli. Both had the perfect amount of salt/sauce, and the pasta tasted oh so fresh. The seafood was HQ too. Highly recommend Pammy’s!
Perfection as always! The corn soup is out of this world! Get yourself to Pammy’s ASAP!
Great place, dinner was delicious and inventive, nice ambience and staff -- who also went the extra mile for us when we had a gift card mixup (which was entirely my fault) but they solved it.
Love this new find comin back over
Beautiful restaurant, amazing service. A perfect date spot.
