Park Tavern Neighborhood Bar & Brewery is located in the heart of midtown on the corner of 10th St. & Monroe overlooking Piedmont Park and the midtown skyline. Park Tavern rejuvenated its restaurant and menu for the 2019 summer season. Our building was originally built in 1905 as horse stables for local racing enthusiasts and then transformed into a golf clubhouse in 1928. Although expanded and renovated over the years, the building still features some of the original woodwork and stone from the historic clubhouse. Today Park Tavern combines the historic charm of the site with the modern sophistication of Atlanta’s impressive skyline. The restaurant features handcrafted beers brewed on-site as well as spectacular patio dining overlooking the park and city. The menu features classic favorites such as burgers, salads, and sandwiches.

Park Tavern offers four private dining areas perfect for all types of special occasions including holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, and corporate functions. Park Tavern Covid-19 Safety Protocol: Our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic is to keep our guests and staff healthy. We are following the CDC-issued guidelines related to food service during this time and have also implemented additional precautions to keep our venue as safe as possible. In addition to the daily sanitizing of our kitchen, we have increased the frequency of disinfecting floors, surfaces, restrooms, and kitchen areas throughout the day. While it is not required to have even one ServSafe certified employee, we have 18 certified employees including the entire management team to ensure vigilance in proper food handling. Additionally, our event team is also trained in personal cleanliness and handwashing; and has also been instructed to not come to work with even the slightest of symptoms.

My parents and I went to Park Tavern for lunch on Father’s Day. Other than having to order at the bar and pick up inside we really enjoyed it. The weather was beautiful and the food was excellent per usual. I plan to go back in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to the live music on Sunday. The steak burger was AMAZING by the way!

I couldn't get last minute reservations at my normal VA-Highland haunts so I brought a party of 10 to have lunch before the Botanical Gardens. I figured with reservations, the experience might be decent. We had a hard time finding the entrance to the restaurant and when we got there, a gentleman helped us pull a couple of tables together but didn't say anything about the set up. We sat for a while thinking we would be waited on. When we asked a lady she abruptly told us what the policies were. We were shocked at the counter only and on line order policy. We tried to go along with it but then none of us wanted to set up an account with the on-line menu company so we left and had a great lunch at the little Mediterranean Grill across the street. COVID or NO COVID, with this set up, I will not be back. They must make their money on events cause the restaurant side was dead and not well kept.

I’m not sure why this place is even on Open Table. It’s not a bar/restaurant in the traditional sense at all. You order at the bar and pick your food up across the dining hall. Made reservations, but has to pull table together ourselves. Food was pretty good, no complaints there, but it reminded me more of a lunch linger after the 9th hole. Not a place for a sit down lunch or dinner unless you’re in shirts and in the area.

I drove all the way over to this restaurant for my 1045 reservation with my 3 friends. We had landed at the airport earlier that day from texas. I arrived @1038 pm and was turned away by the bartender as she states they are closed for service.

We were surprised upon arrival that reservations are not needed or do they recognize them. It is an open room where walk up to windows to place your order and find your own seat. No need for Open Table. The food was good and the wine pours ample. Lots of noise due to the open outside covered enviornment but there is a inside room that is quiet you can sit in. You order at the window and then pick up your order in another location.

Great place to enjoy while at the park. Food and drinks were well done. However, service is lacking. When asked for any sort of items (utensils, condiments, napkins, etc.) we were told "it's over there". One may think it would be wise for the employee working the counter to instruct customers to grab whatever they need when they pick-up their food. Also, no one came to clear our table so we sat with empty plates and glasses for awhile. Bartender was knowledgeable and friendly, nonetheless.

No one was at the front to greet us and accept our reservation. A nice black male worker with low cut hair came up to help us out. He was very nice but I did not catch his name. He was wearing a light grey hoodie with light blue jeans. He found us a table even though it was not outside and cleaned it off for us. He made this a much better experience. I really wish we got his name. Three stars because no one greeted us and our outside table was not held as promised.

When we arrived, we were told that they do not accept reservations even though their website had a link for reservations and Open Table accepted our reservation request. The restaurant was closed except for a snack bar with outside tables adjacent to the neighboring public park. The food was sub-standard; there was no service at all. I will never go back to this 'restaurant".

I love the park tavern & park concept it's a great place Unfortunately it's the cheap food that's cold but very expensive 😞 & the lackluster staff that quite honestly I wouldn't pay for nothing those people required because they are just not worth it they were not running the place they are ruining the place they were just sitting around looking at you look stupid because you're trying to figure out how this self-service model of no help services worked so you can be fed that's what people do 🤔 when there's service staff not servicing anything or telling you how to serve yourself in there restaurant I mean I'm a tourist you might say cuz it's not my kitchen not my restaurant I don't know anything ,that's why you have the people there! right! that's why they get paid right ?well they weren't doing what they were getting paid to do cuz I was totally confused as well as my whole family it was just a terrible waste of money and left us wishing we never came out it was really confusing & frustrating

Been coming to Park Tavern for 20+ years and they keep getting better all the time. The current model allows for quicker service, faster drinks and fresh food fast. They are dog friendly and have so many options for seating from Inside with ac and fireplaces to out doors with firepits to even sitting in the park. I didn't see anything on the menu that I wanted to try other than the lobster spinach dip. They gave me 2 bags of Stacey's pita chips, which wasn't enough. My daughter ordered the cheese fondue, but not sure why bc that wasn't a good meal. But the guys had burgers, which they ate fine and the fries/tater tots are a la carte. But the seating is first come, first serve and we made the mistake of looking around instead of grabbing the first table we saw, so we couldn't sit close to the windows to overlook the park like we wanted. There were tables set up for a wedding that no one was sitting at, so we sat inside where we couldn't enjoy the outdoorsy feel of this restaurant. Later, I saw people sitting at the wedding tables, so I guess we just made a mistake. But the order process seems to be Covid friendly. They text you when your order is ready and you go pick up your to go plates.

Tables were filthy. No table service. Forgot to call us to tell us our food was ready for pickup. The food was not hot. Our table was not truly reserved for us. No one walked us to our "reserved" table. Instead, the host pointed out to the dirty tables in the field next to the restaurant and we had to try to grab a table from the mass of people that were there from the park. We had to borrow chairs from another table to have tables at the table we were finally able to get. The people at the table behind us never sat down at the table and stood directly behind me (no covid 6 feet) and laughed and spoke loudly. Their dog kept barking at and charging our dog under our table. No one from the restaurant managed anything. Dirty cups were left on our supposedly reserved table. Some dogs got off leash and were fighting. It was truly a miserable experience.

Did not feel clean, given what most restaurants are going through- even outside tables should be sanitzed. Blood Mary was mostly ice with no garnishes. Was surprised since we were there at Brunch. Seemed like they were not ready to open at 11:30.

They do not actually accept reservations! They should be removed from Open Table. We would not have driven 30 minutes and paid $5 for parking if we'd known we would not be seated at a reserved, full-service table. Instead, Park Tavern is essentially a fast food walk-up restaurant. You order at the window or bar, they call you when your food is ready, and you pick it up. Seating is FIRST COME FIRST SERVED! There are no reservations!

It was so crazy we didn’t even stay for our reservation. Smelled like a frat house, absolutely a no from me.
