Parkside District - Atlanta
We absolutely love this place. Granted, given that my fiance proposed to me at Parkside does make us love it a bit more, this is truly a treat in the burbs. I see it's listed as Parkside District - Atlanta, and while the culinary options feel like you're in Midtown or Buckhead I really wish they would embrace and own the fact that they are one of several restaurants in Lawrenceville that don't need "Atlanta" in their name to give them credibility. Parkside District, you are wonderful exactly where you are!!
Great food and our waiter was excellent. It was a little loud and I didn't care for the live musician. Also make great cocktails! The scallops were cooked to perfection!
Food was great for the most part but didn’t care for the dessert ( banana foster cheesecake) the food took extremely long to come out. Reservation was at 7pm and didn’t leave the restaurant til 8:35pm. Not sure if the server forgot to ring it in or it was just that busy that the kitchen counselor handle it. Although the food was good but probably wouldn’t be back due to pace of experience
The food was great! The service was very good.
Parkside District was the perfect romantic spot to celebrate Valentine's Day. The ambiance was perfect, with candlelit tables and tasteful, modern decor. Our hostess and server were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. The prix fixe menu was delicious and reasonably priced. Every item was prepared and presented with the utmost care and expertise. The gouda grit fritter and clam chowder were great starters to whet our appetites. For the main course, my wife had the shrimp and grits and I got the ribeye. Both were melt in your mouth delicious. The dessert trio--chocolate-dipped strawberry, white chocolate truffle, and a macaron--were all good, but kind of a dissapointment after such an extraordinary meal. But we still loved the whole experience and will definitely be coming back again soon.
Great new find for us, all scratch made and good. Pork chop and ribeye were great.
Great food and great service! One of my favorite places to dine in Gwinnett County.
Great Valentines dinner with food, service, and ambiance that was very good! It was our second time for dinner on Valentines, and we’ll be back again I’m sure!
Great food. The reservation system needs refining as does the speed in the back of the house.
Excellent freshly prepared meals and choices are great especially if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary!!
Great restaurant, we really enjoyed the experience. Will definitely go again.
Food was very good and the menu was wonderful. Patrick C. was a great waiter.
We went there few times before ！ We keep trying something different and the foods are the bomb this time! It was my husband birthday but the waiter didn’t make special but it is ok. We enjoyed our meal！
This is a great place for dinner. We had a group of 9 and everyone enjoyed their food. I’d recommend it for sure.
I love this place. It never disappoints. It's the best restaurant for food and ambience north of Atlanta. I had the short rib this time and it was amazing. They have live music in weekends and it's always a nice touch, not super loud where you can't enjoy the conversation at your table.
February 9th was my wife and I first time experiencing Parkside District and let me say the experience was above and beyond what I had expected. The hostess greeted us and sat us down quickly. Even though our table was next to the kitchen, I didn't mind one bit because I love to watch chefs cook. Lol. Our server, Kelly, was so sweet and very attentive to us and for that I say thanks Kelly. We definately will come back in the near future. I say thanks to the management to the chefs, to the servers, even to the live band (even though I think the lead singer had one to many drinks. Lol) Thank you for making our first experience turn into returning customers.
Good food, good service and nice ambiance. A little loud but the live music was very good. Good experience and value overall.
The service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. My biggest complaint is the very small martini glasses. One specialty drink is about three or four sips, and then it’s gone.
A special shoutout to Patrick, our server who took good care of us.
We made a reservation through Open Table for a birthday celebration at Parkside District. We made a great choice! The food was good, served at the proper temperature. Our server was Stephanie. She was able to give us feedback on food and drink items. The birthday girl was visiting from Austin, TX and had a wonderful birthday brunch!
Chic atmosphere, with a good and varied menu. Food was attractively served and very tasty. The service was impeccable. Wine prices were a bit on the pricey side. Overall, a great restaurant!
This restaurant was everything and more that I expected. Food was great and all the waiters and hostess were very pleasant.
I have recommended this place before but never again. We received absolutely deplorable service from seating hosts and the expeditors. Waitress was okay, not what I expect for a $$ restaurant but okay.
Half of the food was cold including skillet cornbread and a fried potato cake and then some food was not as advertised like the side of fries, which were also cold. Half of the food was okay, not worth what I paid, but okay.
Lastly, a space heater has no business being on a sidewalk directly in front of your handicap parking spaces when it blocks over half of the sidewalk thereby not leaving enough room for a walker or a wheelchair. Absolutely not up to ADA standards.
Super cool restaraunt and the food is delicious
The food and service was so good!!
The management and hostess staff do not honor reservations. My party of four arrived five minutes early and were told our wait would be at least an hour since they had had a rush of walk-ins. What is the purpose of a reservation? We were a little hot with her but agreed to wait in the bar area hoping we could flag down a manager. There were none to be seen. We were seated 20 minutes after arriving once a party member returned to the hostess desk. The party next to us had four small children. Their reservation was 15 minutes earlier than mine and they waited another hour. Once they were seated (next to us) they did not receive their food for 90 minutes---after being seated! The manager came by our table to check on our evening and gave us excuses about how she is working with her staff on the issue. The poor couple with the children next to us were more than patient and in my opinion should have had their food comped. How hard is it to throw chicken fingers and fries in a fryer basket?! This was my first and last time at this restaurant. They were understaffed and had booked more large parties than they could handle for the evening (groups over 10). The food was good but not creative and nothing I cannot get at other local restaurants.
The food is delicious; my friends and I ordered from the appetizer menu. Be a little cautious though if you are checking their menu online, it seems as if they recently changed some items so everything was not available as shown but that is ok, there were still plenty of options. The quantity of food given is comparable to the pricing as well, you won't be disappointed.
Visited while on a business trip. Everyone was very impressed with the food.
Large group of 12. Food and service were top notch. Ivy was our wait person and she was eager to help and give opinions on each dish.
awesome food. blacken trout is excellent. Steak very tender and flavorful.
a new place for date night
It was my birthday. The hubs and I had a 7:30pm reservation and were seated at 7:28pm. Waiter was great! Food was fresh and DELICIOUS. I had the salmon, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. INCREDIBLE!!! Hubs had the steak with Mexican styled corn. DELICIOUS!!! Finally, we shared an apple crisp with ice cream...HEAVENLY. The only thing that was not so good was the Mac and cheese. Too wet and liquidy, not eggy the way I like Mac and cheese.
It was a great night
The menu at Parkside District is AMAZING! My friend and I were trying out the restaurant for the first time on a whim. The service was outstanding. Amazingly expansive beer & cocktail menu.
The food was sublime. I mean, it was absolutely some of the best food I’ve ever had in the area. We made a meal out of 5 appetizers and a dessert trio (three desserts for the price of 2). The total bill was under $100.
There was live music, but he was very casual and the volume level was perfect.
I cannot recommend this place enough. It was truly an amazing experience.
Incredible food and service! A gem in Gwinnett county.
I took my wife here on 1 of our date nights. We ordered 3 appetizers $11.95 for 1 piece of Avocado toast.. $12.95 for 1 Crab cake.. I mean come on really??? And Calamari $14.95 this is the only item that we received that was well worth the money. I now know why this place was so dead. Nobody can afford it. It’s really crazy to spend that kind of money and still have to stop somewhere else to get full. Very disappointed is this place.
Found this place while searching online for something different while visiting Atlanta. Great find! Will be back!
The food was awesome! I will be going back. A different kind of taste but goooood
Excellent food and service. Plan on going again shortly.
Awesome venue. Incredible food
It was my son’s 24th Birthday.
We've enjoyed this restaurant twice now and both times were great! The service from the front entrance to the table was perfect (that was a breath of fresh air). The food was terrific. We definitely recommend this restaurant!!
The food was superb! Everything was made perfectly & very tasty. Kudo’s to the chef & the kitchen staff. The serving staff was attentive & very knowledgeable about the menu & was willing to request items left out of the dish bc I cannot eat peppers. My steak was grilled to perfection & the mussel appetizer was to die for!! Absolutely recommend this restaurant for any occasion! The menu is seasonal too!
