You have to visit this Mediterranean Dining Destination in Chicagoland located at @shopburrridge. 🌊Every dish at this restaurant is a pure delight, carefully curated to elevate your senses! 👃🏻👁️👅The venue is 19000 sq ft of beauty and also the largest restaurant in Burr Ridge. The food is something else with dishes like their Seafood Tower, Macedonian Shopsa, Olive Focaccia, Funghi Flatbread (made in their and Vegetable Tagine..to name a few. Desserts here deserve a menu of their own, with an in house bakery churning out treats such as Gianduja Caramel Bar, Tiramisu (the best I’ve had), and dessert cocktails like the Grasshopper with crème de menthe! 🍫💝What a meal, presentation and service! My husband and I love trying different restaurants, so we decided to come here and try their Mediterranean cuisine. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we really enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful, spacious place with a great view. Our server, Brenda, provided excellent service. She was always attentive, checked on us regularly, and made us feel very welcome. The food runner who brought our meals was also polite and friendly, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience with the service. The only downside was our experience with the host, who came across as cold and unpleasant. It wasn’t the warm welcome we were expecting The appetizers were delicious. The pasta we ordered was a little salty, but everything else was very good. The dessert was absolutely delicious as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We definitely recommend this restaurant and would gladly come back.

There was a mix up in the beginning when me and my family got to our table, but the service and owner were super sweet and went above and beyond which made our experience perfect.

The experience was great except the host was very cold and unpleasant when we first walked in and the beautiful space we reserved wasn’t available due to private event which would have been nice to know in advance as that was going to be part of the experience for us. Our waiter was good. The food was delicious. Will return at some point in the future.

Ok… so a big selling point for me to try this restaurant is your open patio. I read reviews that show many dont get access. I showed up for our reservation and there was a private event going on. Stop selling your patio. Let people know its for private events only. If its ever available for everyday dining, let that be an option to select for seating, like other restaurants have options. Helps set expectations. Our server was very sweet but he didn’t know specifics about the menu when asked questions and items we ordered were not available to order on a Tues, but we didn’t know in advance. Our food was delivered to the wrong table. The food though was AMAZING!! Prob the best lamb I ever had. Hummus delicious. Saganaki was great. Pricing was on point for the quality. I would come back because several menu items sounded interesting, including the item we wanted but wasn’t available. Just tell your staff in advance to let patrons know.

Patio seating is available by request, but like all seating requests, it cannot be guaranteed. The atrium is part of our regular dining room, but it is also a popular space for private events, and when reserved for an event, it is unavailable for general seating. We appreciate your suggestion regarding setting expectations and will keep that in mind as we continue to communicate our seating options. Peter made our lunch fun and an experience. The service was outstanding and he knew the menu well. His recommendations on food and drinks were outstanding. Beautiful place to dine and the food did not disappoint.

The ambience was lovely ! The food was average. And our server wasn’t that great. After ordering appetizer, she asked about allergies and diet restrictions I told her we don’t eat pork. And she responded well Calamari does not have pork ! I think that was an offensive response. I responded ofcourse not I am telling you so you could be mindful for the rest of our order. The second odd instance was our conversation about bread, I told her I am deciding which bread to order, she recommended focaccia. And then just assumed that I didn’t know what it was, and started dumbexplaining. I responded yes, I am familiar with focaccia I am just not sure this is the bread I want to order. The fried calamari was just ok, I have had better. The sauce lacked flavor too. However the dessert was delicious !! We had passion fruit cheesecake. I will probably just come back for the ambience and that dessert, hoping I will have a different server who is a little bit more well mannered and not so presumptuous.

Found the pricing to be high for the portions. $28 for a basic flat bread is fairly steep. Our server was awesome. The women’s bathroom was an absolute mess and hopefully their lack of attention does not reflect how the kitchen cleanliness was maintained

I was charged a $50.00 corkage fee and had to open the bottle myself and the waitress NEVER refilled our glasses.
