   Service was a bit slow but staff were nice and pleasant. The food was just okay nothing special. We ordered a medium bone in rib eye steak which came out well. They sliced it for us and should have seen that it was over cooked. I ate one piece as it was dry and tough. Tuna tartar, garlic rice and broccolini were excellent. Fish chowder was basically minestrone soup w a few specks of fish. Greek salad was basic.

   Our small family had THE BEST breakfast at Pesca! Our waiter…I’m mad I didn’t get his name! Older African American man…was AWESOME. Attentive, polite, funny and expedient! Our eggs benidicts were amazing! We were sad to leave Oahu but we’re glad we ate at Pesca!!

   This is the second time I have been to Pesca and I must say it was just as disappointing as it was the first time. I wrote the first experience off to just being a new restaurant and not having their act together. If you are going to charge those food prices it better be damn good from day one. I ordered Dover Sole the first time and was excellent so I decided to order it again and the second time it was also excellent. However, the friends I were with the first time were not happy with their orders. My friend last night ordered the surf and turf but was later told they were out (really?). So he ordered the Lamb (medium). We waited an unusual length of time for our dinner as others diners who came in after us where getting served. As we sat there to enjoy our drinks we had been sat next to a table with two young children that did not know how to be quiet or sit in there seats. So with the kids screaming and the elevator motor having noise issues it made the evening very noisy and un-enjoyable. When the food finally came the Lamb was basically raw, but my friend did his best not to complain and ate as much as he could. We also ordered some side dishes only to have them come out late and one was not even present. Bill the manager apologized and understood our disappointment but wasn't able to do much. My advice would be to get the noisy elevator that echoes and vibrates the whole restaurant fixed immediately. I would also create a separate seating area for families with young children. Again, to charge those prices everything needs to be perfect, and they are far from it, as of yesterday.

   Excellent food and ambiance. The best meal we had in Oahu by far. Take the tip and leave the Hilton next door for fine dining at the Ilikai - Pesca. I had the Greek Salad and Grilled Octopus, both amazing. My dining partners shared the Beet Salad and each had the swordfish special — excellent. The fatal flaw is the SERVICE. So. Slow. Kind and friendly, but not quite the level to accompany the white tablecloths and elevated experience. And TWO HOURS with a lot of time between being seated, placing orders, being served, and receiving the check was a bit much (we skipped coffee and dessert because we just didn’t have an additional hour to wait). The restaurant was NOT busy, so I can’t imagine the kitchen was over burdened. If they can fix their issues with service, this restaurant would be top notch.

    Service was off last night. They brought the hot foods before the sashimi Server Jasmin left the restaurant before she telling us or introducing the server taking over her tables Bartenders doing good job I like this restaurant and the menu but they need to work on Service .

    What a delightful spot. We popped in only for happy hour but it was an enjoyable hour indeed. The food is nice and good for the price. We had shrimp, squid and potato chips with delicious dipping sauces. Perfect for late afternoon snacks. The cocktails delicious. Recommend the international violets and a very good mai tai. The view and ambience are awesome. Most impressive were the staff. Attentive friendly and interested. We would definitely return. Probably for dinner next time.

    What a wonderful dinner we had at PESCA. We enjoyed cocktails, appetizers of table side beef tartare, ahi sashimi, eggplant and zucchini tower. Fish chowder is fantastic. We had a 5lb fish done 3 ways. Rib eye steak, garlic rice, broccolini, and portobello mushrooms. Service was spot on. This restaurant is beautiful. You must go!

    I really enjoyed our dinner at Pesca! Views are amazing! Loved seeing the city lights from that high vantage point! The food and service were outstanding and we are planning to return when we come back to Honolulu from Maui in April. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! Mahalo!

    Great food great service. Everyone bent over backwards to be attentive and helpful. We were not rushed. Spectacular halibut dish. Great bartender Megan. And the maitre d’ Gilden was a great help and personality. Would unhesitatingly go back. Well priced for the quality of the food and experience.

    Service was spotty. Tried delivering food to the wrong table. Also delivered food in the absolute dark during 10 minutes of fireworks. Steak was over cooked but the rest of the food was great. Drinks were not timely and a neighboring table was even comped one due to its delay. The ambiance was very nice. I know it may be petty but for a $270 dinner I was not impressed the table clothes were all wrinkly and everything.

    I went to Pesca on Valentine's Day with my girlfriend and ran in to a friend who was waiting at the bar. He warned me that his reservation was at 6:30 and they did not receive any food other than bread in that time spent waiting. We decided to give it a chance and wait it out to much disappointment. Food took excessively long to come out and the bartender, who was working alone, was slammed and barely had time to serve. We ordered a steak to share; when it came out we all immediately noticed how dry it looked. We gave it a shot but it was terribly dry and underseasoned. We had to send it back. The manager came over to apologize offering us the next round on him. When the time came for our round of drinks, he ordered wells liquor for us. All around a disappointing evening. I understand the slow service because of the busy occasion, but the food quality also lacked so much that I would be reluctant to go back.

    Food is great. The service is just, awful. The servers are expected to cook in front of their hosts if they've chosen a whole fish for the table to eat, which keeps them from acting as servers while they take on the role of a cook. This is very poorly formatted. We spent 3.5 hours at the restaurant in total because of how slow the service and kitchen was. Would not recommend to anyone. There's similar quality fish in this town without the ridiculous wait time.

    Well the waitress was super nice but after an hour wait after the order has been placed they told us no more caviar! I asked for Greek Salad, came Beet Salad and in the bill I had both but actually I did not want the Beet. For a 1000 dollars dinner I expected more than a mediocre service and no communication between the kitchen and the server!

    Bad service. Seafood tower was alright, steak wasn’t great even if it was a bone-in ribeye, it was not cooked properly, but I was expecting it to not be the best since this place is a seafood restaurant. Servers did not refill our waters until the end of our dinner.

    This was easily the worst “fine dining” experience I’ve ever had in my life. I want to preface this by saying I own a business in the service industry so I understand when one or two things go wrong, but there’s a difference between a few small things wrong and complete arrogance and failure. First: We were seated at a great table, I was happy with it, but the hostess did not give us a drink menu when we sat down. It took 10 minutes for the waitress to ask if we knew what we wanted to drink and I said we didn’t know cause we didn’t have the menu. Finally, she brought the menu over and it took another THIRTY-FOUR minutes for the drinks to finally show up, and when they did show up they went to the wrong table initially!! Second: The manager made a really odd comment about my girlfriend’s tattoo saying it was Irish and had nothing to do with Ireland…This itself didn’t take away from how poor the dining experience was, but made her uncomfortable and was odd trying to respond to it. Third: They brought out the wrong appetizer. We ordered oysters and grilled octopus and they brought out a calamari. They took back the calamari and took our apps to the wrong table and I had to say they were for us (again). Fourth: I ordered the surf and turf for my entree and my God was this awful. They brought the steak out and it was WELL DONE and burned at the top… to add insult to injury the butter for the lobster had a freaking hair in it… The waitress came back over and asked how it was and I explained this and she took it back. The manager comes over again and asks “what can I do to make you happy” (in a very sarcastic tone) and I explained all this to him. They comped the surf and turf but I ended up paying 160 bucks for very underwhelming food and no dinner for me. Finale: DO NOT EAT HERE!! Total rip off, bad food, overpriced, and poor service. 160 I’ll never get back.

    This restaurant is way overrated! We had grilled fish from France (restaurant says it came by plane today), the server did not give us the price (all is "MP" = market price on the menu) and it was $175 just for a bit over 1lbs fish for 2! it doesn't worth this price. And the view on the ocean is only for few tables, others have just another building right in front of the table... not nice.

    We expected a very expensive meal, with great food. In that regard, our expectations were met. However, the noise, and the rather poor view, despite being next to a city view, window seat was rather poor. Interior lighting was so high the reflection off the glass had us looking at ourselves more than outside. Also, particular table location was almost in a service hallway. Finally, the server while pleasant, seemed to carry out a forced rehearsed speech rather than casual and truly engaged conversation. We did the experience, but I am certain we would not do it again.

    This was a Birthday Lunch for my friend and our first visit to Pesca Waikiki. Beautiful restaurant with great views from the 30th floor of the Ilikai. We had the Prix Fixe lunch which included Soup, Salad, Entree, Dessert and Bread. Service was excellent. All of the food came out a little slow since we arrived at 12noon at the peak of business. The staff and managers were always checking on us and were professional and friendly. We enjoyed our visit and will have to return.

    Excellent fish restaurant Really great staff and very attentive service Extremely good selection of wish Our chosen fish was delicious It is expensive and as nearly all the fish are shown as “Market Price” one does have to ask what the main course is going to cost The restaurant needs promoting - apparently it is busy at weekends but marketing is required to bring customers in during the week

    Amazing views! May be worth the price of admission for just that. Food was ok… Ahi poke bowl and Ahi Salad. Both were good portion sizes, but not as dynamic of flavors as I had hoped.
