It was lovely in the garden. The piped in music was a little loud about nine o'clock, but the band inside after dinner was terrific.
The meal was scrumptious and the portions were large enough for the biggest eater. Desserts were large enough for two or three people. I can't wait to go back. Also, I'll ask for Camilla our waiter. She was extremely attentive and helpful.
Went there for brunch. Not impressed. I had heard a bunch of good things about this place, but I have to say that my first impression was not a very good one.
Despicable experience all the way around. The owners obviously poured tons if money into the space - Italian Piazza replica. However the food was almost inedible. Fried “baby artichokes” were really just like overly breaded canned artichoke heart quarters. The eggplant small plate had so much ricotta cheese that the eggplant was basically non-existent. The baked eggplant was a mystery - lots of canned marinara sauce over who knows what. The meatball small plate came with an ice cream scoop of plain ricotta cheese. I mean really! Try just a little bit for an appetizing presentation. Servers were like kindergarten kids - inexperienced and got orders wrong. Too bad but luckily it may be able to hang on because of unsophisticated tourists.
This is a great addition to the las olas area and it is not just another Italian restaurant. The food, ambiance, and staff are all wonderful. It’s a tough choice as to eating inside or outdoors (they even have a quiet “backyard “). We will definitely return.
Our grilled octopus and salads were great but the service was disappointing today and the noise level was uncomfortable. In fairness, during our previous two visits we had excellent service. We pushed our empty app plates to the side but it took the server much too long to retrieve them. He was also much too slow replenishing our water glasses. By all appearances, there was plenty of staff so I suspect we had a new server or ours was not on his game.
Restaurant was noisy. 3 of the 4 meals ordered were great. Pasta came out cold with the Chicken Parm. Manager was great and took care of the issue. We will be back.
First of all I will start by saying the experience was great because of the friendly staff. From start to finish you felt extremely welcome. I don't usually write about the service, but it's noteworthy. The ambiance is very good and it is also unique inside as you will find out when you are seated. As far as the food goes, we had several items at different price points and while I was a bit disappointed with the house red sauce, every other item was quite tasty and fresh. We even had a few appetizers which were good but the Calamari was excellent. The menu is not extensive but that's not necessary a bad thing. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant that has both indoor and outdoor patio seating.
Excellent portions for Caprese salad and Prosciutto Melon appetizers, main course spaghetti Bolognese portion a bit small and way too salty, filtered water excellent, service excellent and bread never arrived so that was too bad after waiter raves about it...
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the new space! From the octopus to the Sicilian salad to the eggplant parmigiana, everything was delicious and service was good.
Fantastic service and food, will be back
It was our first time and we will be back. The food was excellent!! we sat in the back outside area and felt like we were in Italy including the potted lemon trees!
Roberto our server was friendly attentive and excellent at his job.
The bread, sauce, drinks and each of our meals were above excellent.. we will be returning.
Second time I’ve been to this lovely restaurant
It is a great combination of atmosphere, delicious food and excellent friendly service!
Husbands birthday dinner - was a great time and experience!! Thanks so much!!!
Had a Sicilian salad, good flavor but but the lettuce wasn’t very fresh. Then ordered the creamy salmon, which was delicious, but the asparagus weren’t very fresh either. Service and ambiance was great.
As vacationers, we chose the restaurant because of the menu and that restaurant’s ability to accommodate for our family’s food allergies. During dinner, the power went out. Despite the lack of power, the kitchen remained open. The waitstaff and the chefs worked in the heat (no air conditioning). They were very friendly. We ate our delicious and allergy safe meals by candlelight. While eating, one of the customers started playing their grand piano in the dark. The patrons all joined in singing hits from Billy Joel, Eagles, Pink Floyd, Neal Diamond and others. It made the entire dinner so enjoyable. Thanking the wonderful patient staff and the patrons at the restaurant for making a memorable night that we won’t soon forget.
Our server Patrick was outstanding and assured an enjoyable evening
Started with a delicious thin crust veggie pizza
My wife enjoyed her salmon in cream sauce and my eggplant parm was among the best I've had
Ate outside but well insulated from street noise
Service was prompt but never rushed
A relatively new spot according to server but definitely a keeper - one we will return to with each visit to Lauderdale
Amazing authentic and fresh Italian food!!
First time there, food was surprisingly good. Our waiter Mauro was excellent. Would definitely return.
Beautiful place. Food was awesome and so was our server Mauro. He was very attentive and made for a very enjoyable experience.
This was our forth time in 4 weeks to visit. Every time the food has been amazing. Our server Thomas Masiman took care of every need and made great recommendations. The GM Giuseppe Marino was right on top of things and made sure the night was great. Could not of asked for anything more. Will be back. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a true Italian meal and experience.
The best place in Fort Lauderdale! The best drinks, food and service.
Great place and wonderful food went 2 nights in a row. We loved it
Lovely atmosphere. Good food, good selection of food and a very gracious wait staff.
Owner came by several times to make sure all was well.
We had an excellent waiter Marco. He was charming, efficient and funny.
The food was excellent.
We sat in the Vineyard and it was a pleasure to be able to talk without screaming.
We will definitely go back again next season
The finishing touch was complimentary dessert
It was nice to have reasonably priced bottles of wine
server willie was on point, cordial attentive, and most of all entertaining great vibes, excellent food, ambiance, and music.
The food was excellent. The singer was too loud. The service is very slow.
It is very loud. We’ve visited twice, the food is average, the restaurant is beautiful but need to address the noise issue. All the stone/ hard surface create a very loud room.
Love the piano bar. Still new so hopefully they will figure it out.
Had a wonderful evening! Enjoyed sitting outside in the vineyard. Food was excellent, our waiter Marco was amazing and all the staff very accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit there in a couple of days!
Snowbirds from Toronto
Camille was very attentive and helpful as well as being extremely personable.
Don’t let the the old neighborhood Mango’s spot fool you, this new gem has been completely gutted and remodeled into a scene y’all must see!
Not only is it absolutely gorgeous inside with an INDOOR LED FIREWORKS roof display (something I’ve never seen in my life), but this place has got authentic Italian family recipes to boot!
I wandered in with another friend on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and an incredible aroma. The restaurant was filling up quickly, but we managed to snag a table.
This place is divided into 3 sections (casual dining, fine dining, and Italian dishes/salads and coffee TO-GO).
We ordered the Margarita Americano, the Gnocchi, and the Broccoli Insalate to share.
We also asked the waiter for two glasses of the House Cab which was perfect, I did notice on my quick tour of this new place an entire huge wine cellar in one of the rooms!
When our pizza arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded.
The crust was crisp on the outside, flavorful, and chewy. The tomatoes must be imported from Italy or something because they sure don’t taste like the ones I buy! The gnocchi melted in my mouth, and the broccoli salad was delicious with a tangy dressing.
By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit...
I’m just not sure that the next time we’ll be lucky enough to get a prime spot on a Friday night!
So we went here two nights in a row. First night was very good. Service was great. Food was great. Ambience was great. So the second night, my brother and his family were in Fort Lauderdale and I thought we'd take them there because we had a good experience. By the end of the evening, you would have thought we were in a different restaurant. Very poor service, they couldn't find bread for us.....kept telling us "5 more minutes". Food took forever. Then the food was served luke warm. I was totally embarrassed. First night was a Saturday and the place was 90% full. Second night was a Sunday and the place was 60% full so I didn't understand the dramatic difference. I'm on the fence if I'd ever go back there.......I'm trying to keep the first experience in mind in my decision on that.
This restaurant was weird. The ceiling is a giant screen that constantly changes color, which had a dizzying effect. It may have been cool in a SoBe nightclub.
The waiter was nice, but the food was average. Overall, I'd say this place seemed like an Italian on a bad acid trip decided to open a restaurant.
Our meals were outstanding and the service was impeccable. Brought out of town guests who loved it. Beautiful restaurant!!
Menu needs a lot of work. Food coloring very visible, and not the authentic food I was hoping for. My order was also incorrect. Felt rushed to finish our meals and move on so restaurant could turn more tables.
