Authentic italian! Excellent
This was our first time visiting your restaurant (my girlfriends and I have a regular monthly birthday luncheon), we were all pleasantly surprised when we walked inside — they all loved it.
Good food, great service, a little pricey on the wine, $7.50 for a glass of $10 a bottle wine, nice piano bar, interior is very dated and would look nice if it were freshened up...Miguel was terrific.....we go there occasionally but would go more often if it were a little nicer.....but overall excellent.
Family visiting from out of town.
Piccolo Mondo never fails to satisfy. We are always greeted warmly and seated promptly at table (which)we reserved). The service is attentative with out being intrusive. Do try the salon dish and also the chicken piccata. The spinach ravioli is also a favorite.
As always, the food was superb and service excellent.
Great birthday celebration
Service was a bit slow, but restaurant was extremely busy, so that did not present a problem. The food was marvelous.
I have been going to Piccolo Mondo since the 80s and have always had good service and a great meal. I will continue to return and recommend Piccolo Mondo
Always a good choice for quality of food, ambience, service. Have been going for many years and will continue to.
Always a great dinner at Piccolo Mondo. Especially love their salmon and cream sauce.
We have visited Piccolo Mondo many times over the years, and found it to be a very nice restaurant. The atmosphere and service remain very good, but the food was very average. The food quality did not meet the price paid.
A little gem in Arlington. Always have been pleased with the food and service.
My husband and I went for my birthday dinner. Although we had reservations and were seated right away, we were not provided with menus or water until 10 minutes later. When we requested a wine list, the waiter seemed annoyed. The food was delicious and the wine was very smooth. We went for the piano, but the voice level was so loud that we could hardly hear the music. We will likely go back again, but only for a special occasion and with lower expectations on service.
I loved this restaurant, the service was amazing it really made my night special
This is one of Arlington's most romantic restaurants. A wonderful piano player starts playing around 7:00, adding to an already fine ambiance. The Italian food is first rate, best in Arlington. The service is professional and friendly. Very good wine list. Nothing not to like here!
Always a great dining experience and fine ambiance.
Classy place and neighborhood gem. Food was amazing.
Great food, nice quiet atmosphere. The piano player adds to the overall environment without being to loud. Super service
Great food and service! I had reservations for lunch on a weekday for a business meeting. The food was very fresh and delicious! The noise level was perfect. We were able to all visit without yelling. Servicer was perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Lovely place. Dinner was wonderful. The New York strip steak was outstanding!
We have enjoyed Piccolo Mondo for 30 years! Haven't dined there in awhile - had dinner there on this past Saturday evening and it was as wonderful as ever!!
Quiet, romantic setting with great service and delicious food. A Great variety of items on the menu. Service was fantastic! We'll definitely be back!
Outstanding food and service. Setting is nice, pretty quite. Food and service is best that there is in Arlington. Always consistent. Have been eating there for 25+ years.
Very relaxing dining experience! We came with friends and it was their first time to Picolo Mondo. They very much enjoyed it and thought the food was excellent. We’ve never had a bad meal here!
We would highly recommend saving room for the cappuccino pie!
Piccolo Mondo's is always an occasional to look forward to. Exceptional service and food for a Ladies Luncheon especially our smiling and attentive waiter, Rudy!
Always dependable and delicious!
Overall we had a great experience. We went there on our anniversary and were given a complimentary dessert without even asking for one. And it seemed everyone knew it was a important night. The food was good but not amazing, not bad by any means. We both just love to cook at home and are very particular. Either way it was a great date night.
We were nearby for a conference and looked for highly rated restaurants nearby. You would never know that a location like this in a strip mall would be so lovely inside with a pianist as well. Our server was very attentive with a good sense of humor but did disappear toward the end of the meal, so we waiting quite a while before our check. Lasagna and Mahi Mahi were great! The sorbets we decided on for dessert were surprisingly each served in a shell depicting their flavor--coconut in a coconut shell, peach in a peach half etc. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner experience in the area.
Took my wife, grown children and parents for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was full and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Service was slow and it was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation without yelling across the table. I love this restaurant, the food is great but it was not the ideal place that evening to enjoy special time with the family.
Took my wife for our 5 year anniversary. The food was good, service was on the ball. No issues. Thanks
Food is always fresh & prepared well. Service is always prompt, wait is knowledgeable. Live music
Our dinner was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had shrimp and my husband had the pork chop special. The shrimp were succulent and the pork chop was tender and juicy. We will definitely return.
Excellent experience overall! Our server, Victor, was exceptionally attentive. I would definitely recommend your restaurant. Thanks
New to the area and it was a lovely find!
My first date went well and i ended up asking my date to be my girlfriend, she said yes. Thank you, she enjoyed the vegan-friendly options and simple environment.
Perfect as always. We have been coming here since the early 90’s and it has always met and mostly exceeded our expectations.
I liked the atmosphere and quiet nature of the place and the piano player was pretty good. The food was good and it wasn’t expensive at all
Have loved this place for years and hope to enjoy for many more years.
