   We enjoyed the most beautiful evening sitting outside along the Manatee River! The atmosphere was so pretty as we watched the sky darken as the sun went down. A nice view of the Green Bridge as well! Boats coming in and out was a nice vibe as well. Our server was Abby and oh my golly- she is on my top 10 list of excellent servers in my lifetime of dining out! She was funny, attentive and made us feel so very special. I had the Crab Artichoke Pesto and a red Sangria! Totally amazing! Highly recommend. And so much food! I brought home leftovers for sure! The other guests had the Prime Rib and Grouper Oscar. They raved about their food as well. The valet parking is a nice amenity. And the gentlemen that parked our car were the nicest, with the best of sense of humors! This was second time at Pier 22 and it most definitely will not be my last. Thanks for a memorable experience. Loralee Sarasota, Florida

   We ate lunch outside with a beautiful view of the Manatee River. Our food was especially good, a mixed salad topped with grilled calamari and a grouper sandwich with a side caesar salad. The fish was delicious - fresh, moist, tasty, and well seasoned, not overcooked. All salad ingredients were fresh and tasty. Our dessert of warm apple crumb pie topped with vanilla ice cream was also particularly good, quite fresh tasting as well. The service was good, everyone was polite, helpful, and timely. This was an extremely pleasant way to have a tasty, leisurely lunch combined with a lovely view.

   Clam chowder was delicious. Ahi tuna was amazing. Crab cakes were perfect. This is a must go to if in the Bradenton area.

   Our server was outstanding. She was there when needed with great service and seemed to sense and respond to fact we were old friends getting together and in no hurry. Our table was also great and what we wanted.

   Everyone's meal was very good except mine (I had a salad with salmon). The salmon was cold and the lettuce was limp. Sent it back. Did not receive a replacement meal until the end of our business lunch so I had to take it to go. I always enjoy Pier 22 but was very disappointed this time.

   We had a wonderful experience at Pier 22. We ate outside on the patio on a beautiful night. Service was wonderful and prompt. Our food was fantastic - all 4 of us really enjoyed our meal! Will highly recommend Pier 22 to friends or just people we meet!

   We meet out of state cousins once a year at Pier 22. Our waitress Tynea M allowed us as much time as we wanted. She was friendly, efficient and a pleasure to work with - hope she is still there next year.

    I took my Mom out for her 80th birthday and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We had a lovely table right by the window looking out at the water. Our server Brandon was very attentive and made the whole night enjoyable. The menu had something for everyone which passed muster for even the pickiest eater in our group. Best of all, the birthday girl was very happy and commented the next day what a wonderful treat it was.

    The front desk staff was very accommodating-moving us from an outdoor sunny spot inside when we asked during a busy evening. We also had a guest with special dietary needs and were amazed at the serious attention the wait staff and kitchen paid to our friends needs.

    I have been to Pier 22 several times. My daughter came home for her Birthday and wanted a nice view on the water. The view was fabulous, as always. Service was very slow. 10-15 min before waiter came over, another long wait for drinks and entrees. Desserts took a long time and were not great. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert and I order it a lot. This was the first one I did not care for. No coffee soaked lady fingers. Very dry. The check was dropped of and we waited and waited for the waiter to get it. We were now the last table left outside. I will go back for lunch but probably not dinner.

    Mixed reviews on the food. Grouper picatta with risotto and brussel sprouts was not served in a way that was appealing and the small piece of grouper was overcooked. That was $36. My Mediterranean salad and my husband’s chicken alfredo were very good. Onion soup was very salty. Our server was very attentive and took one of the soups off the bill. She also offered to get my son a different entree so high marks for service. We got a table that was near the kitchen so lot of clanking dinnerware. Many tables have a nice water view.

    We had a great evening at Pier 22. In particular, the service was fabulous. My sister felt that her salmon was a bit “off” and there was no question about bringing her something different. We love coming here! My only regret is that I forgot to bring my Pier 22 “frequent diner” card with me, so I didn’t get my points, but I’ll be back.

    We had mentioned it’s a birthday dinner. We got a card on our table saying happy birthday but the server didn’t even acknowledge the card or the birthday. I ordered a rare steak and go it medium so two levels over cooked. Server didn’t even ask if steak was cooked right…

    All four of us enjoyed our meals. First time here for our in-laws, they said they would definitely come back. Pier22 is moving up our list of favorite places, inching up to Dry Dock.

    Very, very disappointed. We waited a long time for our food to come and when we finally got our food, it was not hot. All 4 of our meals were either warm or cold. My salmon was ordered blackened- what I got was a very very small piece which was burnt and very dry. I could not even eat it. I would have said something to our waitress, but she never came back. We have been to Pier22 many times and have always been happy with our food. We were all very very disappointed in our meals and not sure will be going back.

    The food, service and atmosphere were very good. It was a little too chilly to be dining outside. Since the reservation was for outdoors and the weather was not conducive we would have liked for the restaurant to give us the option of an indoor table.

    I had the prime rib and my wife and daughter both had sushi. The food was prepared exactly as requested. The service was prompt. We had an inside table along the windows. The view of the marina is great.

    Great choices of seafood, which we love. Had the blackened cod linguini and crab cakes. The outside view of the bay was fabulous. We always make it a point to go to Pier 22 after Pirate home games; it never disappoints.

    Lovely sunset dinner on the patio. Crab cake appetizer was delicious. Rib eye didn’t have any flavor and the mushrooms served with it tasted too much like smoke, like liquid smoke.

    I ordered the Shrimp Tempura, which I have had dozens of times in the past. It wasn't as good as usual as it had way too much fried coating on it. Other than that, it was okay but I pulled about half the coating off.

    We made reservations over a week in advance to sit outside on the “nicer” side. We got there and were told we had to sit on the other less formal side, in the sun. For health reasons that is not possible, so we were put at a high top in the bar. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. Finally a bar tender came over and took our drink order and then our food order. Our guests liked their dinners. I had the grouper sandwich and chefs soup lemon rice chicken. The soup wasn’t hot temp or spice. The grouper a very small portion about 1/2 of the size of the bun and not thick. We were all charged $2.50 added to the cost of our drinks. Mine because it was on the rocks. The others no explanation. Not a pleasant experience.
