What Insiders Are Saying
No, Pizzeria Mozza is not the best pizza in LA. But that doesn’t mean it’s not still a good restaurant.
Amazing experience! I never stop loving to bring people to Pizzeria Mozza. I can always guarantee a magnificent experience and I always get one too because of the constant nuance on their menu!
Love this place
Excelente comida y servicio muy bueno
The appettizers were really tasty. The pizzas are in my opinion overrated. The qualuty of tge toppings is excellent howecver the pie and crust are very bready and cookoed very hard
My daughter (17) said it was the best pizza she’s every had
Always my favorite place for special occasions.
Fantastic meal, appetizers, salads, pizza and wine were all spectacular.
The food is divine, even after all these years! A true gem here, I would highly recommend to anyone!
First rate pizzas- delicious- best in town- heard they even use water imported from NY!
Fantastic, as always.
Overall good experience, but pizza was amazing. I never knew a meatball could taste that good.
Great service, great food, place was half empty and they sat a couple right next to us and all we heard was the guy talking about himself...very distracting!! Only bad thing and why I gave it 3 stars for ambiance.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our food and we look forward to eating at Pizzeria Mozza again soon.
Pizzeria Mozza continues to be a fabulous staple of the LA dining scene. Great food that I'm happy to eat regularly. Excellent wine too. Two criticisms: The bathrooms could use towels, especially since you eat pizza by hand! And $14 for valet parking is rather insane.
Everyone in the group had a great time. I wanted to pay for the meals. I gave the mitered my credit card. My cousin came later, she tried to pay. The mitered return her card. Very nicely done.
The pizza dough is an incredible experience just on its own. If you charged me 20 dollars for a plate of discarded pizza crusts I would happily pay it and come back for more. I had the blt pizza and the bianca with fried sage leaves. The Bianca is incredible in its simplicity! This was a near religious experience for me as I am a chef from Toronto who has spent years trying to come up with a pizza crust recipe I like. Your standards are something I hope to achieve someday, also our server was great and so on point! Thank you so much
The best pizza crust in LA , and a good bottle of wine , what a great way to enjoy our Anniversary.
Always a pleasure to eat at Mozza! Brought some friends for their first visit and they were not disappointed.
Great food, creative combinations, great attentive service
The food was amazing. The chopped salad was so tasty. Pizzas are personal size and sharing with others was a great idea. Worth every calorie
The best pizza in the world and the chopped salad is fantastic Service outstanding. Just wish they were closer to my home.
Chilly staff. Chilly room. Tepid food. Awkward at best. Not sure why?
Food was delicious and the wait staff was very good if maybe a bit over extended in the number of people they were taking care of.
What an amazing experience!! Phenomenal food and top notch service. From meatballs and asparagus to pizza ( BLT was delicious) to dessert (lemon gelato), everything was dreamworthy!!
This place never disappoints. The food is excellent and the dessert is delicious. I need to go more often.
I enjoyed the food and the service was good. We were a group of 5 and the noise level was so high it was hard to converse. For the price, I would probably choose a place that didn’t have so many tables, so close together.
Great tasting crust and toppings. A little too much sauce and I could go for a little char on the crust.
What a wonderful experience! I brought my in-laws from England and they were blown away by the service and food! It was a fun trip to Hollywood too!
It was amazing.
Noisy , but delicious . tight seating . We had reservations for 2 weeks and tried to add a third the day before and were unable to not only at 6 , not even at at 5 and not avail until 8:45.
Seats at the bar perhaps ? Food was delicious . Wait staff attentive and helpful. Pricey but not outrageous. Budino dessert moanably good . Pizza was incredibly good as you might expect. We had a simple salad with shaved cheese on it that was lovely.
Good was delicious. Service ok, but other trips have been better.
We were seated in the small room to the right of the entrance. I never even knew that room existed, but there's much less commotion as it's so small. Still can be a little loud, but calmer, more personal.
Squash blossoms were outstanding. Pizzas were also very good, a different style from anywhere I can think of. Crust is key here, but the toppings are also well considered and make a good meal.
Pizzeria Mozza was great; we finally made it back after 3 years! We started with the cauliflower and little gem salad. We then had two pizzas and finished off with the butterscotch budino and lemon gelato pie. The desserts were our favorite items!!
Pretty awesome Pizzas. This was our second visit from the SF Bay Area. Highly recommended
Great food...great atmosphere!
It’s complicated. The pizza was $20 and was just four pieces, although they were big pieces. It wasn’t very good. The waitress recommended some veggie that was breaded and deep-fried, and it was terrible and sooo greasy. We tried the prosciutto, appetizer, which was served with crusty bread, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I would go back just for that.
Wish we would have known the Brussels sprouts were served cold!
The food is amazing and fresh! I love the mushroom pizza and the squash blossom pizza. Sooooo good! I highly recommend the butterscotch pudding for dessert.
So delicious! The pizza never disappoints! Wine list is phenomenal!
Very delicious pizza!!
Loved the pizza, but then again $19 to $25 for a personal pan size pizza is too pricey!
