Ponte Vecchio Ristorante e Pizzeria
Our mission is straightforward – to provide our guests with the best food in a warm and welcoming setting. We use the highest-quality produce and meats in all of our dishes, and you will taste it throughout your meal.
Our menu specializes in Napolitano-style pizza and includes an extensive list of fresh tasteful pastas, including our favorite special: pear ravioli. The hand-picked meat cuts and fish that our Chef prepares every day will also delight your palate, and wait until you try our home made Nutellino and Tiramisu; you will dream about our desserts!
While sticking to authentic Italian cuisine, we keep things fun by innovating with seasonal and original specials for lunch and dinners, every day. Our wine cellar also includes a selection of imported wines, along with an attractive cocktail list to pair with your culinary ride.
The pizza was authentic Italian. Very light. Mussels and Calamari were great appetizers. Def going to return. Plenty of parking on Coral Way. Very impressed with service. Gotta try the lemon cake for dessert. Felt at home and casual atmosphere.
Great Italian Cuisine. Great Atmosphere and superb service.
This place was so great. I enjoyed a romantic dinner with my husband. The service was amazing and the food was delicious.
The food was just okay and nothing to brag about. I think it was in the higher end price point for Italian food. $12 for a cesar salad that was just okay isn’t worth it. Also, their pumpkin ravioli tasted like soap.
The only complaint was that the staff did not remove the used flute glasses from a Prosecco bottle we had ordered and consumed. Additionally, we ordered two additional bottles of wine, and were not offered fresh glasses and were pouring the wine ourselves. The red wine might benefit from a cooler since the wines on the wine list are bold and the food is bold. As to these details, the service would require some improvement particularly if the customers have consumed wine by bottles. Otherwise, we had a great end to the week and would return.
The food and service is excellent. o love this place! Must try their Sangrias they are spectacular.
Let's start with the ambiance. The music is a great mix of older songs (think '70's-'90's), redone in a loungey remix. Very nice. Rodrigo, the manager, is very helpful, and eager to please. The ambiance is very comfortable. The service impeccable- from the hostess, to the busboys, to the waiters. Now- to the most important part...the FOOD. The octopus special is like nothing I've ever had. Honestly the best octopus I've ever had. The Neapolitan pizza is absolutely true to Italian pizza...and I know. I have been to Italy as I had family that lived there for 13 years. The Rigatoni Bolognese is fantastic, as is the Chicken Parmesan. The Chicken alla Nona is a mouthgasm. Even the mashed potatoes (something I NEVER eat) were creamy deliciousness. The fettuccine seafood special is enough for two people and is wonderful! The plan is to come back and try every single thing on this menu!
Great food, several options are available . I will return soon
We have been there several times. Always good. Large portions and good wine selection
Some of the best food we have had in a LONG time!
Local gem in Silver Bluff neighborhood. Good food, great value and outstanding tiramisu dessert.
Excellent food and excellent service. We will be back very soon.
The food was amazing and so was the sangria. But I noticed they have not transmitted the reservations
The service was terrible.
Poor service, mediocre food. Computer not working so unable to process my credit card.
Salads were fresh and delicious, especially the spinach. Pizzas were cooked just right! Wine and beer at good prices. Service was very attentive. Live music made for a nice and entertaining evening
Great Italian food and excellent service. Affordable prices loved their Tiramisu.
Overall I enjoyed my meal at PV. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer which was good. I order the calzone for dinner which was tasty, however the dough around the edges was not cooked.
Food was amazing as usual
Service was ok. Have to ask for things.
Music was way too loud with guitarist.
Small area needs to be acoustic to enjoy the guitarist.
Pizza was the best. Calamari incredible.
Our neighborhood gem
The food was outstanding, it’s a great restaurant. The only issue I found was the corkage fee that was too high at $25 per bottle.
Our new favorite place, a neighborhood gem. Great pizza pasta and service.
Excellent as always!
Excellent!! Always enjoy going to Ponte Vecchio! Service and food were great. We were a group of 8 and had excellent service. Will return.
Service very good. The food is average. Pasta undercooked. Sauce too overpowering. Restaurant has potential.
Management has changed and there are subtle changes but the food is excellent. The service is very good. The live music I can do with out. It would be even better if the old staff returned.
Ponte Vecchio is a true hidden gem and must try! Service and food is consistent and did I mention, the food is wonderful!! A real must go!
This whole experience was subpar from beginning to end. We waited more than 10 minutes just to get our menus. Then, my mom asked to order the Hawaiian pizza (which was under the New York style) as a napoletano pizza and the waiter told us it would be 28 dollars instead of the original price of 14 JUST to have it made on the different type of dough. Then, my dad was stuck between two pastas and the waiter said they could do half of each. However, when my dad received the check, they had charged him for BOTH pastas when he had only received HALF of each. The service was super slow. The pumpkin ravioli was too sweet. All around, this experience was terrible and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Looking for a local neighborhood Italian restaurant
Think we found it!!
Food was delicious and the service very good. Recommend penne a la mafia. All very clean. Highly recommend it. Will definitely go back again
On Valentine’s Day, my date & I were not seated until over half an hour after our reservation. We then waited another hour for our food before we decided to finally leave and cut our losses.
I’m not sure what the dining experience is like on a slow night, but I highly recommend you steer clear of this establishment for special occasions and holidays.
Food and ambience were good. Watch out for the bait and switch with the House wine. Waiter touted it - think it was an Argentine Merlot - and said it was $11.95. A bargain. Changed to $30 on the bill. Two of three at our table remembered wait the waiter said but he denied it later. We won’t be back.
Another great dinner, pizza was amazing, calamari was perfect and my kids jumped on it.
My son loved his clam pasta
will be back
Fantastic food. One of the best pizza In town. Our new spot
Great Italian food! Amazing NY style pizza, appetizers, entrees and cocktails.
This was our 4th visit. All have been very enjoyable
We had an excellent services and food was outstanding.
I never made it to Ponte Vechio. I booked the reservation with Open Table for a New Year's late dinner, and then received a voicemail on my phone from a manager saying that the restaurant was closed that day. I had to scramble around to find another place for that night. Now I am wondering, was it Open Table, or the restaurant that messed this up? How could open table book a reservation on a day the place is closed?
I must say, my wife and I were a little skeptical.
We were at the real thing in May, Florence Italy.
We literally live 3 minutes away from this restaurant. Just a true neighborhood gem!
If you have not been, you need to try.
My wife and I were very satisfied.
Will return soon.
