We are here to show you our passion for dining and for living and we look so very much forward to seeing you soon.
Please note: Our patio is open only if the weather permits and is seated with a first-come-first-sat policy.
Ordered their signature dish - orecchiette. So salty that I left most of it. My friend ordered a pizza that she found rather bland. We had a warm olive appetizer that was very good. Our server was very nice but the busboys were teens who very obviously wanted to be elsewhere. Very loud.
Second time there, great food and service!
Our go to Italian in the western suburbs. Consistently excellent home made pastas
Loved it, can't wait to visit again.
The food was great, but the donuts were amazing! Not much atmosphere, unless you were facing the bar.
Service was good. Food was great (and also great as leftovers!). Recommend the fresh ricotta appetizer and the cocktails.
Our first time to Posto and will not be our last!! Crystal was fantastic (& it was her birthday) she walked us through the menu and recommended the Orchiette & Chicken Limone which were both outstanding. The Meat Balls & Beet salad to start were fresh and delicious. We had just come off a 6 hour drive and were looking for a good bottle of wine and some great Italian and we were not disappointed!! Thanks crystal for an awesome experience (& side note: I did find my cat!)
Posto 31 had a great atmosphere, food and service. We had a wonderful time. Our food was delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. We will definitely return!
Quaint festive beautifully plated tasteful dishes
This is a family favorite restaurant. The hostess is delightful; service and food were great; cocktail list is really good too!
My husband and I were very excited to try a place that made their own pasta. It's not that we were disappointed, but we just weren't blown away either. With so many restaurants to choose from now a days, I just wouldn't make a trip back here. The drinks were pretty good, a bit sweet for me. We ordered the garlic bread and my husband loves garlic, but really didn't love the dish. The rigatoni was good, but again something we felt we could get a many Italian place. The pizza was average and our orecchiette was really oily for our liking. It also seemed really hot in the restaurant to me, perhaps it was because we came in for an earlier dinner. The service was great and we enjoyed our server.
Great food. Great service. Will be back!
Always great food and good service!
Friday evening, first time here. Nice place, friendly staff, good service. Disappointing food. Stale bread sticks. Tomatoes in beet salad were mushy, too much dressing. Their pasta pomadoro was terrible. The orrechiette was undercooked and starchy.
Excellent food and service. Was our first time there. We will be back.
Loved the new patio!
Go to Italian in the western burbs. Consistently better than most with small exciting menu
Excellent food and drinks.
Outstanding food, drink and service!!!!
Homemade pastas and great seasonal entrees!
Excellent service and food! We’ll be back! Thank you for a lovely evening.
Food was excellent and outdoor dining was lovely. Would’ve loved some heat lanterns as the temperature dropped.
First time at Posto 31. We enjoyed our meal very much. Split the beet, arugula and goat cheese salad. Delicious, although skimpy on the goat cheese. H got the spaghetti Bolognese w meatball, I got the pan-seared salmon - both were excellent. H ordered a signature bourbon drink, Doubtproof, and loved it. Portions not overly generous but quality not quantity so not disappointed. A little noisy, but oh well, we will be back!
First things first, the service is impeccable! The minute you walk in the door you feel welcomed and appreciated. As far as the food goes, I went here with high expectations and they were met. I enjoy a small seasonal menu and was not disappointed. My only regret is that I have not been here sooner to enjoy this local gem. I look forward to many more visits add the seasons/ produce change to see what else the chefs have in store. I strongly advise giving this place a visit!
If you enjoy a cocktail, you must have the French 75 and if you aren't a dessert person, like myself.... you'll be disappointed if you don't order the donuts after dinner.... hard to pass up once you smell them!
Excellent service and food. Second time there! Just as great as first time!!
This was my second time dining at Posto 31! Everything was really delicious. Our server was great and the hostess was so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent service and food! We will be back to fine on the patio.
When I attend a restaurant that serves pasta for the first time I always order the spaghetti bolognese with meatballs or sausage. This gives me the standard for the rest of the menu. The home made pasta was cooked to perfection...... al dente. The fried calamari and shishito peppers appetizer was very delicious. My wife experienced the orechiette with pesto cream sauce and absolutely loved it. On the open table reservation I stated that the occasion was a birthday and we were treated to fried warm dougnuts with a choice of chocolate sauce. Wonderful! My wife also loved the old fashion...
We will return!!
We cannot wait to come back!!! I have already told all my friends about our dinner.
Food was delicious (rich), prices reasonable, service EXCELLENT, decor very attractive, but the noise volume was loud for pleasant conversation. I didn't hear background music if there was any (I did listen for it) but you wouldn't have heard it anyway. Energetic place, people of all ages, maybe not for seniors.
We will be back!
Every course, every drink, was absolutely delicious. Our server was spot on with her suggestions.
I was so impressed with the food, the presentation, the taste, the sausage rigatoni is still making me salivate 2 days later. I so wish the noise level could be controlled. We arrived at 6pm when the noise was
tolerable, but as the evening progressed it was deafening. When we couldn't continue our table conversation, it was our queue to leave. I'll go back, the food is that good, I may wait until the patio opens, maybe the noise level will be better outside.
Food is always good as was the service. As the tables filled, the noise level rose, to a rather high level. My only issue with Posto 31 and it would't stop me from returning again.
Very cute and quaint place with phenomenal and fresh ingredients. Seasonal specials were spot on. I’ll definitely go back
What a wonderful restaurant! The food was excellent! The service was exceptional!
We had a group of six on Saturday night. Excellent food. Great pastas and appetizers Service is great. Wonderful restaurant. The pizzas looked great! Will try them on our next visit!
Love this little neighborhood place! Great customer service, food and drinks.
Love this place. We wish there had been more seating options for a group of six. Maybe a few larger tables? Overall a terrific neighborhood destination!
This was our first time at Posto 31. I won't count it out and would be willing to try it again, but we were not impressed. Our server hounded us from the time we sat down. We wanted to take our time ordering and she came back to our table every 2 minutes about 10 times until we gave up. The food was fair and on the expensive side for the portions.
The meatballs!!! And we tried the new beet salad and new pasta dishes squid in pasta-amazing!!! Great service. Incred drinks. We had a blast.
The beet salad was excellent! However, was told it could not be made without goat cheese if you are dairy free. Never heard that elsewhere. Had the orecchiette pasta dish which was very good, but very rich. Wish they had potato gnocchi instead of ricotta.
We had a fun evening. Service was good. My daughters steak was well done and over salted. Almost difficult to eat.
