We tried to come here the last time we took a trip to Dallas but it didn't work out. This time we were able to make it work and were so happy that we did. The food was AMAZING - every appetizer and entree was delicious - and our server was so helpful and friendly. We had hyped this place up a bit in our heads and honestly it totally lived up to the hype. Can't wait to come back!

First, we were seated quickly, but server didn’t stop at our table for about 15 minutes. No big deal, since everyone deals with staffing nowadays. Finally ordered and food was brought out fairly quickly. I ordered steak and eggs, wife ordered traditional breakfast (eggs, potatoes, bacon), and daughter ordered waffle with side of eggs. Menu has an item “biscuits with peach preserves), so we ordered that too. Food was cold. Steak was cool to the touch, eggs warm at best, and the 1 biscuit we got felt and tasted like it went from the freezer to the microwave and to my table in 2 minutes. Wife’s eggs were the same, but daughter enjoyed her waffle. I had to ask for my side of bacon as it was not brought out with the food, and that too was cold and greasy. We didn’t finish our food, obviously. It was so off putting that we didn’t even want a re-do. Will not return.

Bartender was literally the worst ever. Took 30 min to get his attention for drinks and another 15 to get our ticket. Food was not good. Gentlemen next to us, left half a burger and plate of tater tots behind. Clear indicator that it wasn’t just our experience.

Food was good, although they were out of the dish I wanted (Salmon). The main disappointment was really slow service, and it really wasn't very busy. The servers seemed to have no sense of urgency on serving their customers.

First time visit during lunch. Surprised that it wasn't more of a crowd. Will definitely visit again and maybe after work. Service was excellent and food was good.

The bartender was late and the manager was behind the bar. I sent two drinks back and refuse to order another. My husband braved a drink that tasted like cheap tequila and looked like dirty water. My fish was really oily and my shrimp, all but one, were burned beyond edible. I was embarrassed for suggesting the place.

Watermelon mojito was really good! Sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious. To of us ordered burgers and they were both solid! Very juicy and flavorful. Someone else ordered the chicken bowl and it was enough for two meals. All in all, a nice Friday evening spot to celebrate the weekend!

Drinks and fries (sweet potato and regular) were AMAZING!!! Food was good, about average. The restaurant was very hot and there was only 2 other tables in there on a Saturday night. Great spot to grab drinks!

I’ve been there a couple month before and food was great idk what changed but the quality has just gone down. The avocado toast was drenched in this balsamic vinegar and the steak and egg came with the smallest two pieces of meat I’ve ever seen for $27 and the chicken and waffle was just sad the chicken were two small pieces of chicken not a whole chicken breast as advertised the Waiter was nice but something needs to change in that quality of the food and the kitchen

Lots of food options were not available. Dining room was very warm. Kitchen service seemed off. Wine came in a dirty glass. Waiter was very nice though. Place was empty on am early Sunday evening.

The food and atmosphere was really good, as was our server. However, it was so hot in there that we could not eat fast enough so we could get out of there. We would have liked to stay longer, but was so uncomfortable, we could not take it. Also, although the server was great, the hostess was super rude.

It was pretty good. The food was adequate. The drinks were good, but we had to wait for a while for the second round. The service was great except for the waiting part. Location is excellent. Parking was convenient. We'll be back.

Took about 10 minutes after we got seated to get service. Promptly ordered our drinks and then food. The food came pretty quickly, which was great. We are off of the brunch menu, which didn’t seem like the most bang for our buck. The prices are a little high for very basic brunch food and don’t include much. My husband had the buffalo stule chicken and waffles, which was really yummy. However, I had the Dean’s Breakfast. For $17 I got 2 peices of bacon, 2 eggs, tots and a peice of bland toast. It was a bit tasteless and a bit overpriced. I would’ve appreciated maybe a waffle or 2 protein options for the price. I do understand that prices are rapidly increasing. I had to ask for butter and jelly for the toast so that it would have some sort of flavor. It seemed like a neat atmosphere from the photos online, but we probably wouldn’t return.

Just a few friend staying a new place . Our waitress was awesome!!!! My chicken and waffles were not that good but the drinks were! And my friend’s Thai chicken plate was deeelish !!!

Food and first drink was great. However our server Lashonda was a sweet elderly lady that forgot to take our food order. She brought out apps and cocktail but just disappeared for an hour. She was very friendly but we could tell the other servers finally realized what happened and were apologizing saying it happens all the time. After we finally ate, she forgot to bring back our credit card so we were the last ppl there at like 10pm. Good thing we didn’t have anywhere to be! Over all it was a good birthday spot, just think she may need to be in a different line of work :)

Food was amazing and drinks were awesome. The service was impeccable. The care they had for my fiends and I and did not rush us and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. Constantly made sure we were good and did not need anything. I will be returning for the service

Very sparse crowd at the time we were there. Food, happy hour menu, was good and the drinks were also good. The location in Uptown is great, it's close to the trolley and parking.

Place was under staffed, but the quality of the food wasn’t good burger was overcooked and fries were not hot. Salmon was also below average. I could’ve waited a bit longer to get my food if it was cooked right.

I ate at Public School while on vacation with my mother and sister, and the waitress was so kind and worked to our individual needs! She gave us personal recommendations off the menu, was attentive to any extra needs we had, and was accommodating of our busy schedule! The food was FANTASTIC. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely hope to return!

My husband and I came here before we stopped at a concert in Dallas. We had to change our drink order 4 times since the bar wasn’t stocked and we had to tell our server how to make two of the cocktails. We finally got our meals which we’re mediocre at best and are half way through and we finally get our drinks. The server came back a 2nd time to ask if our drinks were okay, asked a third time to make sure, then walked away and gave the “bar tender” a thumbs up since he obviously didn’t know how to make any classic drinks. I asked for a medium steak and it was over cooked and chewy. We laid $100 for two bad meals and 2 had drinks. I don’t understand how this place has good reviews. Take your business elsewhere. I sure will be!
