Always a treat. Book early for a view table on the river.
Dinner before Schuler Awards
Very large menu with plenty of choices for everyone. Very helpful waiter. Excellent wine list.
Celebrated my moms birthday. Loved the view. Service was amazing. The food quality was great, the taste was just okay for the entree.
Went for the seafood, but the steak was the best part! Excellent service
Nice setting overlooking the river
Great meal/time/evening, but expect a hefty tab.
Will go back
Sunday brunch just used to be so much better. The last time we visited we told each other we wouldn't go back but we had such good memories and great food as recently as just a couple years ago. Now the food is average at best and the desserts are not even that. All of the cakes are consistently dense and heavy. Service and ambience are second to none but if you are going to continue to charge high prices for Sunday brunch the food is going to have to get better.
We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent for a buffet.
Service was excellent as well as the ambiance
We look forward to returning soon!
Our server was awesome! He really made the experience amazing. We had a couple of questions. We had a great time. Loved where our table was too.
We love this place for special occasions. It was my daughter’s birthday and they made it very special.
Wonderful evening. No wait for our table. It was prom night so little crowed with the young and beautiful but still very enjoyable We had a great table with view of river
We will be back soon! Love the place. Next time, it will be a jazz night.
Being a customer from 1984 i have witnessed a lot of building additions and interior improvements.
Also, the quality of meals preparation grew a lot. It obviously is very different restaurant from 1984!?
Beautiful setting. Food and service were not good
My finance took me there for my birthday and omg amazing everything about this place was beautiful from the food to the service to the ambiance definitely worth every penny!
I always enjoy dining here. The scallops were amazing but the lobster risotto was over cooked and there wasn’t any lobster! Other than that all was well. I will return in spite of. The service is always good. Two gentlemen attended to our table. They were friendly and attentive.
Very good seafood and a great cocktail menu. The river will make for a perfect dining experience
Love this place. I eat here often, usually one a week for business lunches.
Great service, delicious food and a fabulous view of the river.
This was not a good experience. The service was horrible . We had two waiter that disappeared. It took them forever to bring a wine list and then the wine. My wife and kept asking for a black napkin that did not arrive until we were finish eating. I ordered a steak medium and it came back well. Just was not a good night there.
Food and ambience were great as always. The server was new and totally uninformed and relatively inattentive.
As expected, excellent food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect for business dinner.
Expensive and I’m unsure the value is there. Food was very good but not exceptionally good, considering price. Most everything is a la carte, except for specials, and special requests on those meals result in an “up charge”, including switching risotto for whipped potatoes. My family has been dining at Ray’s for three decades, but I’m kind of over it. One bright spot is the happy hour.
I ordered the boiled seafood platter and the fish was extremely under cooked 😥
A bit pricey, but worth it. Had a lovely time. Good food, excellent service .
Food and ambiance were great. Server was rude and in a hurry to get out. Older gentleman who rarely checked on us and was in a rush to take our order. Mind you, we had an 8.30 reservation. It wasn’t like we sat at 9.30. He literally stood at the table and waited when we asked for another minute. We asked to see the dessert menu after dinner and his response was “ the kitchen is closing soon” I’m a restaurant owner of 15 years and know what hospitality should be. Maybe it’s time for him to retire. He had no problem standing by the table after dinner going over the electronic payment and had his 20% tip all ready to go.
I had a great experience at Rays on the River. My waiter was awesome and the food was great.
What I liked. I liked that there was an option for self-park and valet park and lots of available spaces. I liked the view of the approaching fog over river. The ambiance was not noisy, it was perfect and it was easy to hear my colleagues. And such a great selection of wines. I had the filet mignon and it was good, though I would rate the filet from Bones much higher, but still it was tasty and a good choice. I wasn't impressed with the "abundant" sides. In fact, they were very small and each was barely enough for two persons to share - - actually, they were much too small. I didn't like the added sugar on the roasted brussels sprouts/cauliflower. It made them taste like dessert. Unfortunately, someone doesn't seem to know how to cook vegetables without destroying the nutritional value. Overall, Ray's is an excellent restaurant though the selection, size and preparation of the sides leaves a lot to be desired.
Waiter was pushy and condescending. Actually input his own tip in to the electronic check system they use. Other than him, loved the restaurant.
Lovely view of the Chattahoochee River. Upscale dining with great seafood and steaks.
My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was amazing. We would definitely come back
Prices a little bit high but otherwise great. That is it.
Great brunch and beautiful setting!!
It lived up to the hype! I will be bringing my family here when they visit next.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The brunch buffet was amazing there was a wonderful variety of dishes, including salmon, steak, and fresh seafood along side bacon, egg omelets and chicken with waffles and many other items. We both loved the crab balls. The desserts were just as appealing. My bottomless glass of Mimosa was never empty as the staff was very attentive refilling and removing plates in a smooth, and friendly un-disturbing manner. The view of the river was beautiful.
Fun brunch experience!
We enjoyed the service and the ambiance. We will return soon.
The staff added a nice touch to the table for our anniversary with a card and strewn red hearts! (Be sure to include special occasion when you make reservation online). The server, Anthony was excellent. Ray's has THE BEST calamari, and I am a connossieur! My only complaint would be that the lighting in the evening is quite dim..You'll need your phone light to see the menu. Other than that, Ray's is always a top choice for us when celebrating something special. Try to go before night time to enjoy the scenery in the rear.
Amazing Place to celebrate and special occasion or a fantastic date night. I was trying to pull off a surprise for a guitarist to come and since my fiancée’s favorite song to celebrate our engagement. Jessica and Michelle in the front helped me plan the location to how we would do it and even helped in the execution.
The food was delicious and the steak cooked perfectly. The corn creme brûlée was out of this world.
I could have never asked for a better experience.
Went for anniversary amazing environment , food was great but had an ant in my drink. No biggie though it’s just an Ant. Removed it my wife told the server. She offered to take it but I just said no need its just an ant. Got bill they did not remove the drink as most places would have. Overall though I’d still come back. Bone in Filet was fantastic and nice management. Servers were subpar but nice.
The staff and food were all extraordinary! Shout out to Kay-Kay for her amazing service and for taking such good care of us!
Love the atmosphere - very soothing! The bar tender was so friendly - shook our hands and asked our names. The wait staff was prompt, efficient, and knowledgable. We loved the raisin bread! The Salmon Oscar was a great portion size and so delicious. All of the food was cooked to perfection - the petite filet melts in your mouth. We can't wait to go back.
