Ray's on the River
It was amazing per usual. The salmon Oscar I had was perfect. Crab cakes are amazing. Will definitely return
Ray's on the River is outstanding restaurant !
It is very romantic place. Food and service was excellent!
No real seafood, or ham. Prime rib was overcooked. Not worth the price for brunch
Servers were awesome, I think food is good depending on your dish; my wife ordered shrimp and grits, taste was awesome but really oily. Overall taste is there, atmosphere is pleasant, great for a special night with your significant other.
I loved it . The food was great . Our waiter Mike , was good and very nice . Again the food was GREAT !!!
My experience was excellent from check in until the end of the evening.
Was celebrating valentines days with my girlfriend and we had a phenomenal experience. From the moment we drove in to the moment we left we felt special. On top of that all of the food was on point, and pictures really don’t do this place justice. There was a jazz band and complementary valet service, not sure if this was special for valentines days weekend or if it’s a norm since this was our first time. However, we plan to be back soon. Great value for money when you look at the service you get.
Excellent night out. Very good service and the food was extremely good.
A Great way to spend Valentines Day Weekend with my Girlfirnd, great food and Great service.
We were celebrating our anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place. We had gone there last year and have decided to make this our GO TO place for celebrating. Beautiful location, great table, super service and the food was out of this world. Both of us had the Petite Filet and it was the best ever.
I would only recommend this restaurant if you are willing to spend a lot more than the website says you will. Their website menu promises most meals $35. Some as much as $90 and above.
The cocktails are reasonably priced for the variety and quality, and the food was great, but we went under the impression of the prices listed on the website and were horrified upon looking at the menu.
The food and service were excellent as always.
Ray's on the River was phenomenal. I have special dietary needs and it was no problem for them to meet and exceed them. My fiance came in from out of town and we had a wonderful meal. The service was great. From the time we walked in the door until the time we left everyone was pleasant, accommodating and professional. A little pricey but I feel for the level of service, etc. it was worth it.
Great food..great atmosphere and scenery. Need to have lamb chops if on menu that part kind of disappointed us but overall the food and service was great.
There were 5 of us celebrating a birthday and the service was wonderful. Mike was funny, efficient and made our experience so enjoyable. The food was not as hot as we would have liked but it was delicious.
It was a good experience, but the tables are too close together, no privacy. Too many tables by the window, it had that cramped up feeling, some of the tables are in the middle of the floor. Overall it was nice.
It was birthday lunch for a friend's daugher. They had happy birthday confetti for the table. It was a nice touch as well as a small dessert for her.
We also had a lovely view of the river from our table.
Food and service were as expected.
We had a great experience. Food was amazing. Service was good. I think we had a new server not so experienced. Watching the other servers, they were on point.
Ray's continues to overachieve on every visit! Food was expertly prepared and staff was extremely pleasant. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Beautiful place, love the live band and it really puts you in a calm mood, food is a little pricier than most other dine in spots but it was definitely worth it. And the food is very good!
The service was pretty slow. It could have been because it was a busy night.
Everything was perfect!
It was amazing!
It was the first time we had been there in years... it was even better than I remembered! Great date night restaurant. Want to come back when the weather is better so we can enjoy the outside dining.
My first dining experience and EVERYTHING was perfect
The experience was really good...wish we could have enjoyed the river but definitely i will be returning. The only problems I had were that we had to wait around 5 minutes before someone greeted us at the front door and then because the restaurant was very busy, on a number of occasions our waiter forgot about us. The food portion was a good size, the dessert was the hugest I have ever seen...I ordered key lime pie and the slice was as big as a cake lol it was amazing. Alcoholic drinks were strong too which was good. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant
Not on Valentine’s Day, felt like I was being rushed with my food.
This was our first time at Ray’s on the River and we had an awesome experience.
My wife’s vegetarian option was horrible (stir fry veggies with rice).
Lovely restaurant; but, the food was not what was expected for the price.
My filet was butterflied which I asked them not to do. Table location was horrible, high traffic spot with constant server fly by. My elbow got hit by them 3 different times. The overall experience did not live up to the price. Except for the steak, food was excellent.
Truly a night to remember. This place is simply spectacular. Incredible ambiance, prompt service, DELICIOUS food (melt in your mouth steak)and DRINKS! All ending with an evening stroll along the lake. Best Valentines Day EVER!!!
from the moment we walked in to the second we left, it was the best experience we had at a restaurant in over 5 years. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch
This was our second Valentine’s Day dinner and our experience was far less memorable. Not sure if there will be a third visit.
The food and our view was awesome. I was a little dissappinted with the complimentary valet. I pulled up to the valet area and was told self parking was near the entrance and wasn’t sure why I was not able to use the valet service.
Was there for Valentine’s Day. Very busy. Our table was in the upper section of the restaurant (not down by the large windows overlooking the river) and there was so much activity from the wait staff around us it felt like we were sitting in the lobby. This made the setting / ambiance very unpleasant. The food was very good, but felt like it was mass prepared (which I presume it was given the volume on V Day and the price-fix menu) - think cruise ship style serving. Overall, the meal was fine, but would be inclined to visit a McKendricks, Capital Grill or Chops / Lobster Bar for a similarly good meal at the same price.
The waitress was quick and responsive. The food was second to none and the atmosphere was peaceful!!!
Valentines Dinner. Service and food was great. Very Enjoyable! TLM
Wait was about 10 minutes with reservation... Waitstaff were professional but not very personable. Food was good but could be better. Temperature of filet was requested at medium but was slightly over cooked. Scallops could’ve been more fresh and paired with a better flavored risotto (extremely bland)... Desert was great and better than the meal itself! If I were to dine here again it would be for the desert and possibly the appetizer. I wouldn’t look for great overall service or food here.
We were not disappointed in our expectation of a great dining experience. The Rays' Team did a great job in taking care of us especially our Server "Nick". Thank you for a lovely evening with my Best Friend and wife of 40yrs..
