Redrock Canyon Grill - Southlake
The food was good, when I finally received what I ordered. Went with friends to celebrate a birthday and a promotion. Ordered the special - Arctic char with chimichurri sauce and broccolini. I got the broccolini, which was very good, but was given salmon with a mango sauce. When I asked the waiter, what is this? Is this salmon? He had to check, and then said, oh they put the wrong sauce. Do you want me to change it? Of course! Then I had a manager come over to ask if I wanted a new piece of fish or wanted them to "burn off the sauce." Huh? Burnt fish, that wasn't even what I ordered? When I finally received the Arctic char with chimichurri, it was very good. But by then, everyone else was finished eating.
Overall a good experience. The queso appetizer was the best - a must order is you go. All the other food (burger, filet, rotisserie chicken, enchiladas, soup & salad) were good but not great. I was really hoping to we WOWED, but wasn’t. Again, it wasn’t bad, just not amazing/outstanding.
Service was attentive. Food was as expected (salads were cold, soup was hot). Very quiet than what we expected for a Friday lunch, which was a pleasant surprise. Good trip to Redrock all around.
Excellent service (thank you Shelby) and delicious food. Will return.
Shelby was great waitress...she was thrilled that there was a Shelby owner in our group! Especially since it was red!!
Excellent as usual. We brought guests who had never been here before and they were most impressed.
Food and service was great as usual!
We always have a good time, meal and service at RCG. They make a great French 75
Chicken pot pie was the worst I have ever eaten. Should be taken off the menu. The crust was like eating lard. The ingredients inside were all mushed together and could not distinguish what you were eating!
If possible, check out the Five Crowns in Corona Del Mar, Ca. That’s a real chicken pot pie with a flaky crust that rises a couple of inches above the plate.
We drove from Addison to try RCG for the first time and were delighted. Every bite the four of us put in our mouths was absolutely delicious from the cornbread before appetizers to the key lime pie after dinner. We were particularly impressed with the excellent service; unobtrusive, yet right on time whenever we needed something. RCG is definitely on our "repeat visit" list.
I enjoyed my experience. It was my first time in the restaurant. The waiter and hostesses were excellent. My husband enjoyed the teriyaki steak. I had the chicken enchiladas.
Good as expected..one of our favorite places to dine with friends.
Lovely dinner with our best friends. Food, atmosphere, service was outstanding. Thank you for what you do!
Food and service was wonderful. Pork Chop was delicious and cooked perfectly.
Hostess staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd, hiding from rather than greeting new guests. Waited 20+ mins past our reservation time before being seated. Must have been a staffing issue since there lots of open tables.
Service was fine although the broccolini was doused w pepper for some reason and the batter fried chicken salted to the point of being inedible.
This was our first marginal experience following several good ones in recent months.
I loved it! I want to go back. Can y’all open one in Frisco, please? I live in Celina and that would help me visit MORE often. :)
Great place for lunch. Wide variety of food along with their roasted chicken.
Their mashed potatoes are worth a trip alone. The rest of the food was good, too. :)
We were introduced to this place in Oklahoma City. Came back and found one close to us. Wonderful food. We have been pleased with the service. Drinks are great. Can’t really complain about anything.
Good service. Food was good. I would recommend for a slightly upscale casual dining experience.
Excellent happy hour and great salads. Easy online reservations.
Red Rock provides consistently great service and food!
Normally I have fantastic service but the last 2 times have not been great.
The food and atmosphere were great! We loved the brunch and friends we were with!
Really great food and overall service!!
Valentine Day Celebration ! Great food, excellent service.
Excellent service and great food. Can't wait to go back
Red Rock Canyon Grill has been excellent every time I have gone. They are consistently good in their service & food!! Nice atmosphere too!
outstanding food. Everything we had was great. Mashed potatoes are to die for. I will definitely come back again.
Food is not worth the price. Quantity is good. However preparation was strongly lacking. Good way too much salt. And mine was supposedly prepared with no added salt. I’d much rather eat a Cheddar’s hamburger than this establishment.
We had a very nice experience. Looking forward to going again.
I have driven by this restaurant many times and wondered what it was, but had never taken the time to eat there. We were trying to find a place in between work and home for all of us to meet and this location was best. I was really pleased with the restaurant and we didn't have to wait for the entire party to be seated. We trickled in 2 at a time, but the server handled it perfectly. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable and we now have another great restaurant as a go to in our neighborhood.
Our first visit to Redrock Canyon Grill, but we will definitely be back. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was excellent with good, very friendly service.
Always a fun restaurant. It is very loud. Thought the Calamari was a bit over cooked. It was chewy, but the rest of the meal was great.
Birthday lunch. Great salads and good wine list. Service was excellent.
Our server Treavor was Awesome! 4 stars for the food because I switched out couscous for the veggies and got 2 very thing slices of zucchini/squash. My husbands plate was loaded up with food that was enough for 2 people. My plate looked like I ordered from the kids menu. The Salmon was tasty and cooked just right. Overall our experience was great but my skimpy food portions were disappointing.
Food was a bit overpriced but tasted great. It was very loud, had to scream to waiter to place order.
I am getting older, went with another couple and I could not hear any of their conversation. The chicken pot pie was old. We were warned it was made at lunch. Should have taken the hint.
