Back in time! Heemelrijck Centrum, located at Singel 161 is a smaller version of our restaurant on the beautiful Van Woustraat. The family recipes developed since 1949 are being revived here with typical Dutch dishes like pea soup, braised meat and mashed potatoes and our award winning 'Flippin Bitch'.

Very popular location. Represents the Amsterdam local cuisine well. Service is slow due to large crowds and overwhelmed employees. Worth a visit just for the ambiance.

Warm and welcoming experience, with amazingly friendly and relaxed service. Food is traditionally Dutch, with the stamppot highly recommended as a filling comfort food, however leave room for the apple and cinnamon dessert, it is to die for Great selection of beers and wines, accompanied with local selections of liqueurs. Butterscotch and “Flipping B*tches” liqueur is highly recommended. It is a small venue, so book ahead. Will absolutely be back

A fantastic last dinner on our trip. We were looking for quality Dutch food and they didn't disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was delicious! We picked this restaurant because of our plans in the area nearby and the menu options. I would definitely eat here again!

We got an early reservation. The restaurant is small so recommend reservations. They do has tables outside. The food is traditional Dutch and was very good. Highly recommend when in Amsterdam.

Super welcome and accommodation on a busy work night. Seated right away—and great bar service. Opted for chef combo of traditional Amsterdam fare—family recipes. Great filtered water— still and with gas. Service team was busy but attentive and never rushed us. A great evening and easy bill pay process. Highly recommend.

Food is great, and the place is cute, but the sun was shining so bright in the evening and all the guests were wincing and trying to block the sun with menus, but they wouldn’t close the shade until the sun was almost down, so we were miserable for 30 min.
