Reason for poor rating was the completely inadequate number of serving staff. There were only 2 trying to cope with a large busy restaurant and while they were very pleasant and professional and doing their utmost best to cope, wait times for menus, drinks and food were long. Quality of food was fair and the ambience pleasant but I would not go there again

This restaurant was recommended quite highly on the Dubrovnik restaurants. When we arrived the one waiter wanted to seat us basically in the street with a lot of smokers and the young waitress at her insistence took us upstairs to get away from the smoke. The food was not great one of us was quite unwell afterwards and the service was not great either. Very limited options for desert one was cheesecake when we asked what type of cheesecake we were told -you know it’s cheesecake -and that was All. We asked for gin and tonic and were told that we could have tonic which was much better than Fever tree and I said that that would be wonderful as I really like fever tree and then there was no other tonic and it came as fever tree tonic.! This is just indication of the service that they gave . There are so many good restaurants in Dubrovnik we were very very disappointed with this one and would not return

The restaurant was closed. How could a reservation be accepted when the restaurant was not open. Extremely poor experience. And it was raining. Somebody should apologize.

Great service in a beautiful location. Food was very good except for the local oysters, which aren't special - small and nondistinctive, and poorly shucked. Everything is overpriced, however. This is not an inventive, chef-driven restaurant yet it's priced as such. Over $100 pp with one drink each.

We enjoyed our meal at Restaurant Sesame so much! It is located in a very old house and has an absolutely lovely patio. The meal was excellent and the service outstanding.
