The food was the standout and we had a great waiter in the name of Jack. Noise level was rather high but probably due to the concrete floors, walls, etc. Amazing location right on Burleigh Beach. Food was wonderful, amazing flavours and plenty of it.

We have always experienced consistently excellent food and service at Rick Shores. Last night we felt it was a little let down due to the service being pushy and rushed. Our waiter requested we order minutes after being seated and kept interrupting conversation to check if we were ready. After ordering returning saying we hadn't ordered enough. Pushing the banquet and wine topping up wine, even after us requesting 1 guest was driving and didn't want any more. We ordered the whole barramundi which was lovely but should have mentioned fried on menu. Other than that a lovely night.

Incredible venue with amazing food and service! Celebrated our wedding anniversary with a set menu lunch sitting at a beachside table with uninterrupted views while still tucked away to feel just a little private. This was our first visit to Rick Shores and definitely not our last.

We had the best girls lunch here a few weeks back. The food was so good (we opted for A La Carte and it was all wonderful , the fish curry and roti are a must), the service was outstanding (special mention to Lisa) and the location on the beach was fab. Definitely recommend and would come back in a heartbeat!!

Food was excellent, it came out a couple of dishes at a time. Our plates were swapped over when they became dirty and the table was wiped down when it became too crumby. The service was impeccable.

Our waiter changed 3 times during our lunch service. Service delivery of food was swift but disconnected from the wait person looking after our table. Food was just plonked down by someone from the kitchen I presume and the person left without any explanation or information about the dish. We ordered a significant number of small plates to share so weren’t quite sure which as which. The food was okay but nothing to rave about with little to no presentation. 2 spring rolls rolling around a plate! One meat skewer sitting on a large plate..no garnishes, nothing to enhance making it look appetising. It’s not a cheap meal out and I expected that but I also expected that the service, food and presentation to go with that price tag.

It has taken us 18 months to get a booking here and the wait was worth it. I wish we didn't live in Melbourne so we could try and come here more often. Highly recommended.

The location is impeccable, we had the $85 banquet and it was absolutely delicious and just the right amount of food. The service from Alvero was amazing and he looked after us all night. Can't wait to dine again.

Overall was an amazing meal - cannot fault the food. Service left a lot to be desired. Had to constantly ask for drinks service which at a restaurant of this calibre is not expected. This was the only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars

Our group of 6 all had a great day, we mentioned it was for a birthday casually and the waiters remembered when they delivered dessert for our banquet and they sang happy birthday- wonderful. Can’t wait to go back. The food and atmosphere was superb!

We choose the $85 set menu. The food was outstanding. The most delicious flavours. A good variety, small portions to begin with that got progressively larger. The “cleanser” ie sorbet was lacking in bite or flavour., but everything else was superb. Very good value for money. The sparkling Tasmanian Rose was delicious.

Beautiful experience, we had the $120 banquet and the food was absolutely amazing. The bug rolls are a must. The waitresses were beautiful and attentive, made sure we were thoroughly looked after. Exceptional service with the most amazing view of the beach.

Fabulous place for lunch, there are 2 tasting menus and we did the cheaper one which had SO much food although we did add oysters. Highly recommend for location and delicious food.

Mostly 5 stars. Would be good to have an option to pair wines up with various courses in the banquet. Also got a little warm inside with the windows closed, however I understand it was very windy and sand would have otherwise been an issue
