   From the bruschetta and vegetarian pes soup to the filet special , the food was exquisite! The service was wonderful. Attentive and responsive. Large selection of wines to choose from. And my favorite part… dessert! The creme brulee was our favorite Definitely going back.

   Never again. The chef/owner had confrontations with 2 different patrons. We could hear swearing in the kitchen. Our waiter had an attitude and was ‘disappointed’ that we did not order a bottle of wine. The busboy was lovely though. Above all else the food was bland and uninteresting. A waste of time and money.

   Restaurant was not full when we arrived on Mothers Day and quickly filled up. Kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed and soup and salads took exceedingly long to arrive. Our server was gracious and polite but covering many tables. Food seemed to lack the distinct flavors that make a dish special. Ho hum meal.

   The service was great, the food was delicious, and the owner and server were delightful! We were a party of twelve, and they managed to cater to our every need! I highly recommend Ristorante Farfalla. Bravo!

   Unfortunately, we were unable to stay for our reservation. The restaurant cooks with peanut oil and one of our party suffers from a severe peanut allergy. We could not risk chancing that she might consume something that came in contact with peanuts. The wine selection was good and we were able to enjoy a glass before leaving.

    The porchini mushroom ravioli special was excellent. My fellow diners felt their pasta dishes did not have enough flavor. We have dined here in the past many times and been pleased, so we wondered if someone new was in the kitchen.

    Do not go to this restaurant unless you like small intimate dining venues where the staff treat first time guests like old friends and the chefs serve up superb cuisine. Stand outs for my family included the lobster and shrimp bisque (light on cream, heavy on flavor) and the salmon (moist, with a delicious flavor profile that was a hit with everyone at the table, including my wife who does not eat salmon). My only regret is that we tried them the last evening of our stay. Learn from my mistake.

    We hadn't been to Farfalla for a few years due to Covid. We had good memories but were disappointed particularly with a seafood special made up with clams, lobster, etc. which had no flavor. Dessert was the best part of the overall dinner,

    We always enjoy dining at Farfalla. The food is outstanding and until this visit the service has always been outstanding also. We can't say enough about the food - always prepared exquisitely and presented beautifully. The service was somewhat disappointing. Our server was a bit rude and had a slightly less than cordial attitude. This is the first time we have not been pleased with the service in many, many visits over many, many years. That will not keep us from coming back, of course, but we hope to be treated better the next time we visit.

    We were disappointed (4 of us). My red snapper was overdone and potatoes were not anything special. Veggies were ok. My wife’s filet mignon was not medium we’ll done (even after taking it back once) and it didn’t have much taste she said.

    MAGNIFICENT! Had a buddy in from NJ/NY! As always, food OTC! (Off the Charts) Just like a Family owned Italian restaurant in NYC/NJ—Service? What can ya say—OTC—Jen was our waiter—recommended a great wine too! (A Montalcino—The Carpazo!) If you’re in the area—go to Farfalla—you will love it!

    We like to try new places as we get accustomed to life in SWFL. This restaurant was a major disappointment. Prices for chicken dishes were high, no options with red sauce and they even charge for refills for soda.. There are too many tables, makes it difficult to have a private conversation. Food was so so, not worth another visit.

    Everything about the evening was superb. Had the special which was swordfish and it was the best I’ve ever had. Delicious. My friend had the sole and she felt the same. We will go back!! Highly recommend!!

    There were eight of us they came in for dinner tonight. Everything worked out perfectly. The only thing that I would say is that service was a bit slow. I totally get that because of Covid and the number of cooks and servers that are available.

    I had been to this restaurant several years ago and really liked it. Recently, i wanted to try it again and read the reviews to see if it was still good. There were a couple of bad reviews for this restaurant, but a lot if excellent ones as well, so I decided to try it and I was sure glad I did. Our server Jen was great. She was there when we needed her, provided excellent menu and wine recommendations and was very pleasant. The salads were big enough to split. Two of us had outstanding swordfish, which was a special. I had the veal saltimboca and it was great too. The scalloped potatoes were rich and very delicious. There was a decent amount of veggies as well. Finally, we ordered tiramisu and cappuccinos for dessert. I would not hesitate to come back again soon.

    Like some other reviewers, I decided to ignore the negative reviews seen in the last year or so. We found the service to be timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. I think this restaurant is a gem being missed by quite a few people. Whatever issues may have existed in the past seem to have been corrected by restaurant management. It was a very enjoyable evening. All 5 of us at the table felt that the kitchen had done a great job with each item ordered. We will return!

    The service and the food were outstanding! Reasonable wine prices! All four of us loved our meals!! My only criticism would be an over crowded dining room. The tables were extremely close together, and it was difficult to navigate the room to get to the bathroom. The place was packed! I understand the need to maximize floor space and profits. Maybe a larger location? I definitely would recommend!!
