   We had a good time last night but the food definitely left us longing for more. The “smoked” wings were actually fried, hummus was bland, hot chicken was unseasoned, and dirty risotto was just rice covered in a cream sauce. Additionally, my smoked Old Fashion lacked smokiness. The musical performance was great! Definitely a nice vibe, so wouldn’t be a bad spot for a drink, listening to music or catching a game in the bar area. I won’t be back for the food but maybe a drink and sitting on the rooftop for ambiance and conversation.

   I came to the restaurant and NOBODY was up front. So I walked to the bar to ask about parking. The bartender asked, what are you parking for?… to eat.. here? No hostess ever showed up and I just ended up leaving. Would not recommend.

   The food is always excellent and the server who seemed to be handling all the tables was the super star of service. He was really hustling and refilled drinks and brought what we needed very quickly.

   The only things keeping this from an all 5-star rating were: we had reservations but it took about 5 min before someone was at the host stand to seat us (actually had to go to the bar to ask about it); and there was a solo musician who was very good, but too loud (volume, not style) for the space playing for the first third of our time there. After that, the ambiance was great. Our server was great. Food was great.

    I was so excited to try this bar as I am a whiskey enthusiast. I made reservations for 9:30 and come to the front desk and no one is there. My party tries flagging down multiple waiters and are rudely disregarded . Finally around 9:45 I ask to speak to a manager and he basically walks up and says “what do you guys want?”. After another 5 minutes we’re seated in the very back of the restaurant where it is extremely dark. So dark that we’re all about to fall asleep. The table isn’t completely ready and I have to ask for a drink menu. Again it’s a whiskey bar, I’m assuming they would want people to drink the whiskey. Furthermore , the prices of the whiskey aren’t even correct and our server tried to over charge me. I could go on and on about how terrible this experience was but to summarize the food is sub par and overpriced, and the service was terrible.

    Really disappointed with all the TVs and sports programs on. The ambiance quality and prices of food felt very upscale but with all the TVs/sports on it felt like it was a common sports bar

    Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about menu (both food and beverage) - EXTENSIVE beverage menu, short food menu but everyone enjoyed their items. Least favorite item was the peach cobbler:( maybe they weren’t in season.

    This was a worthwhile breakfast. The omelettes were perfect, and we enjoyed the pancakes. They contain a lot of cinnamon, which we liked but you may not. Like most restaurants in the area, they are severely understaffed in terms of servers, but the kitchen was fast and our food came out quickly. Getting seated took some time and our reservation was worthless. Getting the bill also took some time.

    I will start with the hostess; she was awesome, attentive and very sweet. Our waitress was very nice, but one of two working the floor for the night. We had reservations and were sat as soon as we arrived. There was a large group (25+ people) in the bar area as we were being seated. It looked like an office Christmas party. Our waitress took our drink order within 10 minutes of being seated. However, it took over 30 minutes to get water and a total of 50 minutes before our cocktails were delivered to our table. One of the reasons I picked this place was to try their “Rowdy Fashion” version of an old fashion. However, they didn’t have all the ingredients to make it; so I was informed by the waitress. So I ordered a traditional old fashion. It was awful - the worst old fashion I’ve ever had. It was mostly simple syrup, water and a giant ice cube- I did not even taste any of the bourbon. I took two sips and asked the waitress to just take it away. After waiting nearly an hour for the drink, it was truly disappointing. I ordered the pork chops for dinner. I was asked how I wanted it cooked. I said medium. It came out tough, dry and the only flavor was from the 4 small pieces of apple on top. I hate collard greens, which was listed as the side on the menu. So I asked to substitute the collards for the Brussels sprouts. Of course, that didn’t happen. The collards were on my plate and the Brussels never made their way to the table. I really wanted them place to be better than the recent reviews mentioned. However, it was an all around awful dining experience - Outside of the hostess (who checked on us more often than the waitress) and the live music.

    The bartender is less than delightful. My Hot Chicken sandwich was partially raw. She did not apologize, she said "I'll take it off." and walked away. The drinks are wildly overpriced for their value. I ordered Nachos and they were cold. The rooftop bartender was a delight!

    We’re excited to try the cocktails. The bartender informed us that about half the menu wasn’t available. She said some require some syrups or mixes they were out of. However, for one drink we could literally see everything needed to make the drink on the counter. The drinks we did finally get were just average. The wings were a bit sweet for us, but not bad. We were told the French onion soup was really good with their homemade biscuit. We didn’t notice anything too special about it. The liquor selection is great and it’s possible we got an “off night” bartender. Nothing we had or experienced would make us want to go back really. Overall, it’s a super cool looking spot with potential and your mileage may vary.

    Would rate 4.5/5 because the food wasn't outstanding, just right though. Saturday evening date night, reservation got us seated immediately, the Staff is very attentive and one of the things we loved about the place. The ambiance is very nice and sleek, but it lacked maybe some light music or something, not sure. Didn't check out the rooftop but I saw a ton of people making their way up there. Ordered deviled eggs, wings, fries, lamb, everything was good but lacked great, I would definitely eat it again and rethink my rating. Drinks were top shelf amazing! Best part!

    Service/ food - excellent. Our servers recommendations were spot on. We had a serious food sensitive person at our table and the chef came up with a great solution that was fabulous. Highly, highly recommend!!!

    We went for a spontaneous Friday date night. There was live music —singer w acoustic guitar— that was quite good. Our waiter’s recommendations were spot on, trout (blackened) and pork chop. And the bottle of Zinfandel we shared was perfect for both dishes. Overall, a great night. Highly recommend!

    We actually never even made it to being seated here. Even with a reservation, they told us there would be a 30 minute wait. We ordered 2 very overpriced drinks at the bar (it took us a while to get even those, the bartender looked irritated that we were even ordering), and waited. There were plenty of empty tables available; we wondered if they were understaffed. A couple just ahead of us at the bar left, saying they never got their food. Over 30 minutes passed and nobody waiting had been seated, so we just left and got sushi down the street. The sushi place was a much better experience.

    Let me preface this by saying I do not go around trashing establishments on Open Table. I was visiting my son for GT Family weekend from NY. He ordered the Chicken and Waffles and I ordered the grouper on a bed or broccolini. We should have known something was up when my son ordered a lemonade and was told they only served Pepsi soda products. It then took 45 minutes for the meal to be served. I don’t believe the menu stated that the waffles were red velvet but that is how they were served and my son would not have ordered that because he does not care for red velvet cake. As for my grouper, it came out lukewarm and the bed of broccolini was ice cold. The waitress was apologetic saying the kitchen was having “issues” and took it back. 10 minutes later, a new dish was returned but in a bowl with a watery broth and broccoli heads not broccolini. I asked the waitress what was going on here as this was not my order. She said they were now out of broccolini and the meal was being comped. She suggested not ordering something else as she could not guaranty when it would come out. My son believes he overheard the waitress tell the couple 2 seats over that by order of the manager only appetizers were now being served. I begrudgingly kept my soupy grouper and it has so much chili powder I could not taste the fish. At the end of the day, they comped both my son’s meal and mine but that is not the point. Parents weekend comes once a year and we would have rather had a nice meal together. We felt bad for the server and tipped based on about what the meal would have cost.
