Went for Mother’s Day and was pleased at how organized and quick the service was. The wait for apps and entree was minimal. The music gave it a great ambiance. Love coming to Santa Maria, they have always are so friendly and food is great.

I went to Santa Maria after it was suggested as a top spot for Mexican food on Open Table. It was worth the trip. The food was good, it was quiet, the price was great, and we were seated right away - even with a reservation, it was not crowded. I would definitely return.

We’ve been to Santa Maria multiple times. Overall, typical nice experience. We love the paella’s! $40 for what are easily shareable portions. Had the seafood paella. Perfect. We also ordered pork belly with guacamole. Also really good. Dessert was tres leche. It was also really good! Ok, one major issue. We ordered Blue Point and another oyster (can’t recall name…). 3 each as they were $3.90 each. They were tiny! Say again, for effective $60/dozen+ when incl tax and tip. Manager was sympathetic and wanted to make things right. But… they were left on the bill. So, will return to the restaurant. But beware of the oysters. Do not order!

Service was quite in inattentive & slow when we did have service. Food was fine. Nothing to write home about. Overpriced for food that was just “fine.” Sea bass was highly recommended. Much too much sauce on plate covering potatoes & supporting fish. Sauce should have been more of “smears” on the plate rather than small puddle. Overall, not happy with dinner choice.
