The food was delicious and the glass of wine was the most generous amount in a buy by the glass format I've experienced. A reasonable price for what was offered. The food was first quality and our server Inga totally rocked. She even was able to guess what we'd order.
Service was slow and the food was good but not outstanding. Price didn’t meet the expectation.
We had the best attentive waitress who made sure we got our entrees in a timely manner as we were in a hurry to get to a show.
Great late night spot for dinner. Convenient stop over to or from the airport
So yummy!!! A special brunch treat for a special occasion.
Staff was great. Food was great except for one miss. The lobster was over cooked. Otherwise perfect.
The food and service are always great at Scott’s. This visit was no exception. The table next to us was loud which made our conversation more difficult but they were just having a good time.
My husband and I have enjoyed Scott's for many years. I also go there with a girlfriend when we are due for a lunch to catch up. It is a "go to" place for elegance, outstanding food, and kind, attentive service. My husband and I were there on Sunday for the brunch, always outstanding. We didn't want to leave, but, alas, we were full. We joked this morning that we wished we could have stayed all day: gaze out the window, watch the boats and their passengers come and go, watch the people inside and outside the restaurant, until it was dinner time. "Oh my, how time flies. It is now time for dinner". We were exceptionally pleased with Scott's; we always are.

Great food enjoyed the selections on the menu.
I changed my table to outdoors since the day was beautiful. The wait service was superb! The food was excellent and the value was reasonable. I was celebrating my birthday with my guy. Everything was perfect.
We love this restaurant....we tried the Halibut Cheeks which were amazing,...also tried the crab Avacado salad which was delicious....plan to return soon.....Lovely setting on the water watching the boats sail by.
Our server was phenomenal, the food was delicious and the staff in general were fantastic. We went to celebrate a birthday and they gave her a rose and sweet treat as well as a picture to remember the occasion. I love the food here and am rarely disappointed. The mashed potatoes are to die for, and the seafood salad is delicious. The prices are fairly high, $30-$70 a person, so we only come here 3 or 4 times a year and usually in smaller numbers but I think this will be an annual treat for my lady’s birthday.
During the summer they have different monthly specials. September is Pacific Coast Festival Menu. The Pacific Seafood Pasta was excellent. Prawns, mussels and clams, with a hint of garlic. Will go back in October for the Old Fashioned Clam bake!
Great food, great presentation, great atmosphere, great service. What more can you ask for. Perfect way to spend my dad’s birthday. Everyone enjoyed the dinner. We will be back.
First off - it was hard to believe that two salads, one appetizer and a couple of glasses of wine cost us $100. Prices have increased about 20% and the quality of the food has gone downhill . The pear walnut salad was ok. Although The leaves for the Romaine salad were crisp as usual, The treat was spoiled by the watery, thin, runny dressing. It was not the usual thick tasty dressing with chunks of blue cheese. They exchanged it for a new salad and ‘better’ dressing but was still not up to par. The calamari was not tender per the usual. It was tough. Too bad this icon has lost its touch!
Scott's experience was one to remember! Everyone from the hostess, to the waitress to even management who came over and personally extended a great welcome and 'Happy Birthday' to my mom (as we were celebrating her 76th Birthday)!
Everyone in our party commented on the great service, great food, and overall great experience. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to Scott's Seafood!

The brunch food offerings were tasty, but the whole thing is way overpriced if you're not drinking much champagne. We were not offered a non-alcoholic option. It was a little hard to serve yourself some things, as their tongs aren't flexible enough to grasp small or thin items. The jazz band that played during brunch was only so-so.
We had a wonderful time but a little disturbed that the gratuity was included.
My family wanted to treat ourselves to a nice brunch away of the usual Father’s Day crowd. We had a wonderful time. The food is great. The music is nice . The staff make my family and I feel so well cared for during our visit.
Tired. What once might have been a "destination" restaurant sorely needs a re-do. The place is 1980 in a time capsule. I went for the sand dabs, but I guess they were not in season. I ordered the crab cake entree, which was four crab cakes on a bed of rice. They were largely tasteless. They do have a good list of wines by the glass. Otherwise, no reason to recommend this place.
This is our second time at your restaurant. The food , the view was wonderful
Saturday 11am lunch. Lovely view of the crystal clear day from our table next to the window. Fresh & delicious salads , prompt & friendly service. Looking forward to going back soon.
Great food and service!
I have noticed the aroma of gasoline at the window seats at Scott's on more than one occasion. Scott's needs to address this issue. No one wants to smell gasoline, when they sit down to what they expect to be an exceptionally tasty dinner.
Great service. Great place to celebrate Birthday or special occasions.
I think for the price the quality of food does not match. The omelette’s where delicious and I loved the endless champagne. Also, the service was impeccable, otherwise the food was mediocre
If I was giving the rating based upon service and ambience it would be 5 stars no doubt. The employees go over and beyond to make sure you are having the best experience possible and they did extra things to capture what you were celebrating. I happen to be there for a birthday/anniversary dinner. The service I received went over and beyond my expectations.
The food on the other hand did not match the service. We ordered the live 2lb lobster it was bland and over cooked, the filet mignon had a weird after taste, as well did the calamari. The only thing that tasted good/fresh to us was the salad we ordered. We went in with high expectations of having a yummy meal but didn't receive that. The service is really the only reason why we didn't walk out of there.
Food was good, I didn’t find it special. Had a special request and when I checked when I arrived the lady said they can accommodate it. Asked the waitress to check with front desk on my request, and yet it was not done. I approached front desk again, and again my request was NOT fully done. Really disappointed. With this kind of restaurant, I was expecting better service. The lady on the front desk didn’t even look me in the eye when I talked to her. It felt like I was talking to a robot.
Date night w/ my special guy.. he ordered a $50 filet mignon - medium rare l. It arrived medium- rather than sending it back & sacrificing enjoying our main courses together, he notified our server. She acknowledged that yes, the steak was not cooked as ordered. She said adjustment would be made... we asked for his $17 glass of wine to be complimentary. Instead, we received a $15 credit. Not a lot of money... it’s the principal. Next time, he’ll send his steak back if not prepared as ordered. Otherwise... my Petrale & our starters were excellent.
We had a late night dinner with our keynote speaker. It was great that the restaurant could accommodate us for a 10:30pm reservation. The food was excellent and service was superb.
First visit to Scott’s for my birthday! Booked through open table was so smooth. Walked right in and was immediately seated at window table. Food was delicious especially desserts. The service was top notch! Made me feel super special. Family enjoyed too. Definitely will be back!
Fabulous ! Made my birthday very special!
The food was just amazing and the service was excellent
Scott’s Seafood at Jack London Square is a wonderful restaurant for a date! The service was excellent and the drinks were too. The waiter was very friendly and let us take all the time we wanted to sit, talk, and enjoy our drinks. I highly recommend.
Waiter brought new glass of wine to my wife. Instead of just placing the glass, he poured the remaining wine from the previous glass into the new one. Nobody was hurt, but come on! A minimum of training of a waiter should be expected, and this kind of behavior is just not too bad.
Excellent service and food! Great celebration place
As you would expect for a restaurant that has been here for a long time, the experience was wonderful.
I liked the seafood choppino but the marinara sauce was a little too spicy for me, my husband loved it. Also you might try to have gluten-free bread on hand for those that are gluten intolerant.
It was an amazing experience! The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable.
The food is seriously overpriced by 2x-3x what it should be. The service was indifferent. We won’t be going back.
