Excellent service and outstanding food. Crab cake appetizer was delicious, the redfish was awesome, and the fried chicken was as great as I remembered. Our waiter (Sebastian) was terrific, and Chef Boyd even came to our table twice to say hi and ask how our meals were. Highly recommend.
My wife and I went to Secreto for our Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was outstanding! The food was fantastic, and our waiter was very attentive and personable. We highly recommend and will be returning!
Took my wife here the day after Valentines. The food was outstanding, we loved it. We had the redfish, braised short ribs and Pork Belly appetizer. It was nice to go into a place where you didn't have to yell to have a conversation, nice ambiance. Considerations to make it five stars? Service to get drinks could have been a bit faster. Highly recommend!
This place never disappoints! Everything is good!
Best chicken dish I've ever had! Crispy, flavorful and exotic !
Our night at Secreto was wonderful. Tremendous quality. Outstanding Service!
Our food was delicious. We ordered the pork chop and redfish. The waitstaff and manager were all very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the weekday dinner out, and will definitely be back.
Enjoyed a Valentine dinner. Started with the warm pimento cheese dip which is fabulous. My husband and I shared the fried chicken dinner which was perfect. And plenty of food. Even had enough to take home. Our waiter was great! Wish I could recall his name but the service at Secreto is always on point. Highly recommend for a date night or a night out with friends.....cool bar too!
Loved it, always love it.
Felt like they were trying to move us quickly through our meal, but I said something and then it was ok. Food was great. Server and staff were friendly and pleasant.
Good food and good service.
Three words....”Get The Chicken”. You will not regret I.
Great food and service. Only quibble is that the two top tables are arranged so that one of the dining party stares at the wall the entire time.
We are fortunate to dine in fine restaurants around Atlanta as well as internationally. We don’t give 5 stars often, but we are doing so here. We ordered several entrees and appetizers... Bang Bang shrimp, fried chicken, short ribs, burrata, and beet salad. Each was cooked to perfection, so flavorful, the seasonings and sauces were a good marriage. Boyd Rose is one talented Chef. He spent time talking with us during the evening. His carrot cake is not to be missed.
Be sure to make reservations. All tables were full the entire time we were there. Our server, Sebastian, was very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend Secreto! And will return soon.
We LOVE Secreto. Food is amazing. Service amazing. So happy to have this in our back yard.
Great ambiance! The chef was awesome and kept checking with us and was super sweet!
We had a nice visit to Secreto and a very good dinner! The menu is great for foodies as well as an upscale twist for comfort food lovers (fried chicken with jalapeno gravy for example). The bar makes handcrafted cocktails that are original and tasty! I'm not certain what this space used to house(?) It is almost too open, like one giant room, and the noise level can escalate. The carrot cake for dessert is outstanding!
Excellent experience! The owner graciously came by the table twice to check on us and the food quality and service was outstanding !
We had apps and several bottles of wine and dinner and then were talking and catching up when the manager came to our table and asked us to leave so they could seat other customers. Appalling.
The food here is very fresh and well prepared. We started out with the Baratta appetizer. For the main course I had the fried chicken and my wife had the scallops.I would come again again to try out some of the yummy other options.
Delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. Was not small plates either, a nice sized portion. Great menu choices.
Place was crowded and so noisy, one would have to yell at each just to carry on a conversation. Menu is small and limited. Emphasis is made on liquids such cocktails, various beers and lots of wine. Seating is crowded . As I said noise level is very high due to no sound barriers on walls or ceiling.
There are other restaurants out there in Where the noise is much lower and much easier to digest a meal where one doesn’t get heartburn by shouting too much
We ordered shrimp and grits and redfish as entrees. Both were excellent!
Been there for dinner twice and have enjoyed everything we were served. Excellent and attentive staff as well. Will be coming back!
Best fine dining restaurant in Alpharetta! The staff is very knowledgeable and the meal was delicious. I had the fried chicken that everyone raves about and it did live up to the expectations set by others. My husband had the redfish and that was awesome as well! Can't wait to go back!
Great place, food and service. One of our favorites in the area. Highly recommend
A.ways a great experience. We love eating here!
We were thrilled to find this suburban gem! The food was delicious with many familiar dishes elevated to the next level. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly fried but had a delicious strawberry sauce that renewed my love of an old favorite. The fried chicken was very tasty and the bang bang shrimp was yummy. Even the carrot cake was next level. It was moist with a balanced flavor the way a carrot cake should be but it had a unique taste and sauce that was mouth watering. I never thought there was room to improve on the classic carrot cake, but somehow they did. The decor was modern and the restaurant had a good vibe. It far exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely go back when we want a nice evening out. No need to travel to Buckhead or even the newly fabulous Alpharetta for a great date night dinner. I’m glad we finally tried Secreto.
The food was good, but I found it heavily overpriced compared to the quality and portion we received.
This place was amazing! I loved the atmosphere. VJ the general manager was incredible. He made all of us feel very special on my birthday . The food was excellent and and the drinks were great. I can't await to return. It was so worth the drive in. We were all very pleased with our dinner selections.
Bang Bang shrimp, and pork belly appetizers. Redfish, salmon, and fried chicken were the entrees. All were very good.
Great food, service and ambience. Very relaxed atmosphere for date night.
We were disappointed. The food was salty. Overall service was fine. Many other places to choose in Alpharetta for better food.
We had the Shrimp and Grits, which were good, but very rich. I only ate half. The noise level was manageable because it was fairly empty on a Wednesday night. Our server never offered us dessert (or coffee...or anything) after our meal and never came by to refill our water glasses, which were empty, even though we sat and talked for another half hour after we finished our meal. They need to pay more attention to these small details.
Excellent meal and fun time with friends. The restaurant had few patrons when we first arrived, but that soon changed. It was packed on a Monday evening. Our server was friendly, helpful, and joked with us. The food was excellent. We loved the fried green tomatoes and bang bang shrimp. Two of us had the short ribs which were yummy - tender, very flavorful, and filling. Two had the redfish and thought it was delicious. We have eaten at this restaurant several times, but it was especially wonderful this time. We will definitely return!
The staff was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Sebastian our waiter made us feel special throughout the whole evening and was always there to answer any questions we had. The food was exceptional and I cannot wait to visit again!
Salad ordered was never delivered. Had to ask for it to be taken off the bill. Restaurant was busy. Server way more interested in the large group next to our party of 4
Wonderful experience as usual.
Amazing food - Fried chicken is outstanding (and their claim to fame). The short ribs were also excellent, paired with Asiago grits. We had the chocolate tort for dessert (gluten free). It was an all-around, fun, and tasty night out with the family.
The service was excellent. They answer all questions with plenty of detail. We met the chef, as he was making the rounds throughout the restaurant.
The ambiance was also very enjoyable. The dark wood floors and walls mix well with the lighting for a cozy feel.
First visit Thought about trying several times and passed. That was a mistake. What a pleasant surprise. Service was fantastic and the food was great. Told members in my party that reviews mentioned the fried chicken was great. It was and possibly the best ever. Owner stopped by the table several times. Finish the evening with the carrot cake
