The food and drinks were delicious. The service was good. When it was time to box our food, the waiter insisted on doing it, then brought all the boxes out together. He didn’t bag them or separate them. We had to open each box to figure out whose food was whose. The same thing happened with dessert. We both ordered flan and wanted to take our leftovers. They boxed it then put the boxes together in one bag. We didn’t know whose was whose. When we asked them to remake the flan to-go, they made a bit of a fuss about it and tried to argue that they knew whose was whose. Perhaps there was a bit of a language barrier, but we could’ve boxed the food ourselves.

The seafood paella was tasty but on other occasions contained shrimp. For $60 for a 2-person portion--it seemed awfully skimpy on seafood and no shrimp at all. Seemed like a cheaper rendition based on cost cutting.

Although the restaurant was very busy, our server Ana made our experience outstanding! She was hustling from table to table, but was always a step ahead, bringing more water, plates, utensils, etc. when needed. The food was also outstanding! We even took home 2 bowls of their soup to have the next day!

The service was excellent, and the dessert was wonderfully tasty. Unfortunately the Medium Appetizer Platter was underwhelming: The Oysters were tasteless, the shrimp were bland, but in fairness the lump crab meat was delicious. Still not what one would expect for $50. Maybe it was a bad night for Oysters and Shrimp. We may visit again to enjoy the Paella which seems to be more of their specialty. As long as you stay away from the overpriced appetizer platter its a nice place with great service. I'd give it one more shot, but want to be transparent on the food quality.

I had raved to a friend about SER and we met there for dinner. Sat at the bar, instead of a table — a mistake. Person behind the bar uninterested, didn't know the menu. Music way too loud for the number of people in entire restaurant.

I had high hopes for SER, but i left disappointed. The tapas were good (papas bravas, sardines, tortilla española), but the one thing SER should have gotten right - paella - was bland and over cooked. We opted for additional lobster, which ended up being more expensive than we expected and unclear from the menu how it would be priced. Dinner for 3 medium to light eaters with no alcohol was $177 before tip. Low value for the money.

We loved SER’s outdoor table with just enough shade and sun as well as its excellent service. The complementary bread with kalamata olive bits was crusty and delicious. Its seafood paella was worth the wait, but the egg and potato sandwich was nothing special.

We sat outside at Ser and ordered a variety of tapas, drinks, and desserts. Everything was excellent, especially the octopus and the cod fritters. Our server, Christian, was wonderful and very helpful in recommending things to try! We are excited to come back and try the paella soon!

Michael was one of the best servers we’ve ever had anywhere. He took a pricey drink back, NQA, and helped in the selection of another with a sample. Service was unexpectedly slow, which he said was “a glitch in communications with the kitchen.” (?) But he comped us a free drink, and food arrived shortly afterwards. Shark and shrimp were great, roasted vegetables with goat cheese good B+ but not hot. We sat outside; no great ambiance but the weather was good. Definitely worth a return visit.

I liked the food. They had bubbly water. Bubbly water is my favorite. I always wonder how they get the bubbles in there. Anyways I really liked the food. They had foie Gras and it was good. I always enjoy food with a good back story and force feeding a goose until it gets fatty liver disease is a good back story. They also had octopus. I enjoy eating octopus because they're really smart and it's a great way to flex on the rest of the food chain. On a scale of 0.9 to 7.5, I'd give it a 6.9
