Food was delicious and staff very attentive. Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and live piano music.
We had a lovely first time experience. We took an elderly couple with us and we were concerned about the parking situation, but that was easily solved by. Entering the back of the building. Food was delicious, but we were a bit disappointed when there was no need on the menu to go with the red wine we had brought. Instead we went for bar drinks so expertly prepared by our server NED. In fact he was the only server that evening....He did an exemplary job considering the circumstances. Was even able to we've large group party in the back room celebrating a birthday. Ned was personable and hard-working. Something you rarely see in the service industry anymore. I know behind the scenes the owners are working hard to make Rose Hill a top drawer Aiken destination. While there is a few kinks to work out, Rose Hill is on their way to becoming a wonderful destination for your dining needs. Good luck and keep up the good work!
Ryan was our waiter and he was a delight. We were a party of eight and everyone enjoyed their meals and sent compliments to the chef. Will definitely return.

Delicious entree, great service, friendly staff and ambience is quiet and elegant. Filet was expensive, but other entrees seemed reasonably priced.

We were on vacation and decided to enjoy dinner at Sheffields. We had a wonderful server, Thomas. We ordered the spinach salad and a Caesar salad; both were delicious!!
Our entrees; salmon and veal Parmesan were just okay.
Excellent dining experience for a special occasion. In our case it was our 43rd wedding anniversary and our first visit to Rose Hill and Sheffield’s. Service was great and food delectable. Will definitely go back for future special occasions.

My wife and I tried Sheffield’s out on 04/09/21 celebrating our 5 year anniversary. We had reservations in advance. The service was good, our waiter was attentive. The atmosphere was nice, they had someone playing piano which was also nice. I wasn’t very impressed with the food, the plating was nice though. I ordered their version of paella and it was just okay, also my wife’s gnocchi dish and our hummus appetizer were just okay. The only thing that I thought was done really well were the biscuit appetizers with the honey butter. I was disappointed they only had two desserts to choose from, I wish they would of had a few more options for dessert. They didn’t do anything special for it being our anniversary, not a big deal but would have been nice. Definitely was not “wowed” from my initial experience at Sheffield’s but may give it another chance.

Very nice venue with interesting menu.
Service was awesome. Easter Sunday brunch. There were only 5food items on the table to chose from. No presentation at all. Butter and jelly packets just laying on table. There wasn’t one vegetable, fruit or salad available. Guess if I was on keto diet it may have been ok. For 45.00 a person I expected much more than scramble eggs and bacon. I really wanted it to be a great experience because the restaurant and grounds are extraordinary.

The setting is very enjoyable and the food is good, but not outstanding. The young gentleman who waited on us was pleasant, attentive, and did an excellent job.
The piano music was over powering when sitting in the same room. Loved the music but when seated in the same room it is almost impossible to have a conversation.

Enjoyed our evening at Sheffields. The food is good but very expensive. I guess you are paying for the atmosphere which is wonderful. We had drinks on the terrace and enjoyed listening to the piano player. Overall a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience here since the recent renovations. The bar area is gorgeous with a very cozy ambience, and the dining room is very elegant. The food was delicious and we appreciated the vegetarian option. The terrace will be beautiful for outdoor dining.

We were a party of just two, so we were seated at a table with drop leaves on 2 sides - which left no place for our knees under the table. So we had the waiter turn the table end-on and that was fixed. The living room lounge chairs were too low to be comfortable while eating. Nevertheless the food and service were excellent, and the ambiance was sumptuous. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal but would have preferred not getting repeatedly blasted with cold air when the outdoor diners came and went through the patio door.

My husband and daughter really enjoyed the food as well as the place itself. She ordered the lamb and fell in love with the taste! Everything was perfect and they had an amazing father-daughter valentines dinner date. They would recommend this place and look forward to returning.
