A great night out with wonderful food, gorgeous indoor/outdoor space. Could perhaps have a broader selection of wines as I did not find my Greek or Georgian wines as good as the rest of the experience. Otherwise, a very special restaurant indeed

I enjoyed my meal but I thought it was overpriced. The meats were definitely worth the price. The lamb koobideh was very tasty and the chicken was my favorite. The eggplant side dish was mediocre, the rice was good, and the bread was fantastic. We waited one hour for our table and yes we reserved a table. The space is my favorite. I would go there for the vibes but not the food.

This place has major kinks to work out. Meat was good but everything else was so tiny, like shallot yogurt was literally 2 spoonfuls per order. Service was spotty. We had appetizer dip that took so long to bring (even after following up twice) that it ended up hitting the table AFTER entrees arrived. Served apologized and said she’ll discuss with manager, then they ended up leaving it on the check which was interesting. We also had asked for a side of bread with entrees but we ended up having to eat most of the meat by the time we followed up and it arrived. The manager who brought it out had a bit of a dismissive demeanor. I also asked for tahdig with the rice (crispy rice) and we ended up with GRAINS of little individual rice that were fried. I asked where the tahdig was and the staff pointed to the cup of little rice flakes. Can’t make this stuff up. They should consider at least having an Iranian manager or staff members to educate them on basics of the cuisine if they are expecting to run a successful Persian resturant.

Overall great Persian restaurant, service needs a lot more training as soon as more than half the restaurant got filled the service collapsed. Other than that the ambiance and food quality was great.

Service was great. Outside seating area is wonderful. Music sucks. Very old fashioned Persian music not suitable for the clientele. Taftoon bread is excellent. Sangak bread is terrible, likely from a local grocery shop that sells them in plastic bags. Lamb koobideh was terrible. Very gamy. We were only able to eat half of it. The filet mignon kabob was good until I ate the end piece which was mushy and made me sick. I was sick for two days after eating here. Not going back. Had high expectations. What a shame.
