Granted, it was Mother’s Day and they were busy, but they could have done better. I dropped my mom off to check in for our reservation while I parked. We were maybe 5 mins late and they had already given our table away. They then told her she had to wait until I arrived, which I understand. But they didn’t invite her to go to the bar or anything to make up for the fact that they gave away our table. Anyway, I get there n they seat us fairly quickly, we place our order and the waiter told us that things were taking a little longer than usual, but it took over an hour (probably 1 hour and 15-20 mins) for the food to arrive. It was bland and honestly, there’s cheaper places with better food. They didn’t even comp us anything for the significant delay. They could have removed the cost for 1 of the margaritas (we each had one), or comped the add on to my taco order of rice and beans (it was only $4), but nope. Overpriced, bland, poor customer service. The waiters were nice, but again, they could have tried to make up for giving away our table just by being more hospitable and by comping anything. I would not recommend eating here or even making a reservation since there appears to be no grace period whatsoever (what’s the point?). And again, the food was bland. It’s a shame, my mom picked this place for Mother’s Day and was looking forward to it, only to be greatly disappointed. She said she wouldn’t have picked Sol had she known it was going to be like this.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your Mother’s Day visit did not meet expectations. Due to the holiday volume, we contacted guests in advance regarding our 15-minute grace period and requirement of the party be present before seating. While we understand your frustration, we’re glad we were still able to seat your party shortly after arrival. We also apologize for the food delay during one of our busiest days. Management was present on the floor throughout service, but we understand the experience still fell short. We’d appreciate more specific feedback on which dishes lacked flavor so we can continue improving. If you give us another opportunity, please ask for Juan Garcia. I’ll personally ensure your visit is properly supervised by management.
