   First time at Stationary and it was really nice, loved the beautiful architecture, the ambiance, the live music and the food! Drinks and appetizers were yummy. Happily surprised by the big portions in the main courses. Loved being able to look outside. Free Valet Parking is a plus! We will be back for sure to try the brunch!

   Three of us enjoyed a great experience last night and would return in a heartbeat next time we’re in town. Great service and delicious food, it did not disappoint. And what a gorgeous space!! Just wow! Highly recommend

   I was SO excited for our dinner date at Stationairy. I had meticulously researched restaurants in Nashville and thought I had struck gold when I found this one. I was planning a weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I (this would be our first trip away together) and I wanted everything to be perfect. We arrived at our reservation, entering through the restaurant doors which were directly off of a main stretch of busy road, and weirdly, there were tables and people sitting literally right inside the door. We had to search a bit to find the host station, which again weirdly, was located across the restaurant through a glass door. We get up to the host station where there are two hosts just standing around and they take their time greeting us. The restaurant is not busy at all and only maybe 1/4 full, again weird with it being a Saturday night. And of course we are sat right over next to another young couple RIGHT inside those blustery main entrance doors. There was live music playing which made it extremely loud and difficult to hear. Our waitress came over to greet us and I could not hear anything she was saying, she had to get right in my face for me to hear her, and she said she would give us some time to look over the menus. I opened the drink menu and something seemed off, there were several blank pages and only one random page of drinks for groups. So after a while our waitress came back and we ordered a glass of wine and an old fashioned as well as our food. Quite a while passes and we had not yet gotten our drinks. I look over and our waitress is just standing around looking at her arms and picking at something. I flag her down and ask her about our drinks, for which she says “you want to order more drinks?” And precedes to get her pen out, and I was like no we ordered drinks already, and she finally remembered and quickly rushed away. But even more time passes and still no drinks. My date had to flag her down again before they arrived. I’ve ran out of room so

   Food was just okay. We both had the steak. It was served with blue cheese butter and a bland sauce. The sides were asparagus which was overcooked and fingerling potatoes. I love fingering potatoes but I think they need to be split in half and roasted with olive oil. These seemed dry. The wait staff was nice and very accommodating and the music was great!

   Dishes were creative and excellently executed. Service was prompt and friendly, and ambiance was elegant but not stuffy. Prices were what you would expect for the food and service.

    This is one of my favorite new restaurants in Nashville. It is a newer spot but the view, atmosphere, and vibe is perfect for any occasion! The romance and splendor is nothing short of amazing and anything on this menu from signature cocktails to chef signature food will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this spot for your next night out meal in Nashville!

    We had brunch. The menu was limited but the food was good. The eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, which doesn't often happen. The potatoes were good, could have used a bit more seasoning. It also came with a little salad and the tomatoes were delicious. We had the sandwich which was tasty, but the sauce overpowered the sandwich a bit. These are picky point--it was a good breakfast.

    Union Station overall is SO beautiful. First time I have been in the restaurant since they moved it. Lovely location and ambiance, but super cold to almost being uncomfortable. Limited menu, but all 5 liked their choices ( out of the fish/chips) for lunch. (I would recommend a real bakery sour dough with the soup... commercial pre sliced- almost white bread like didn't do your soup justice) Staff was very sweet.

    This was my group’s second time dining at Stationairy. The food was delicious and really enjoyed my glass of wine. The only negative was the old fashioneds that 3 of us ordered. The last time we dined, they were perfection. This time, all of our old fashioneds tasted like they had saltwater in them, so they were hard for us to drink. Liam Slater was performing and he was so talented. It really made it a fantastic evening.

    I had the $29 hamburger and it was very good. It has two patties which I did not realize soo it was more than I needed. The hush puppies were also delicious. The service was great and the building is amazing. My only complaint would be about the large chairs which I found a little uncomfortable to eat from. The sofa was great though.

    The hotel/train station was beautiful architecturally and they had live calm music. The stationary restaurant looks the part of a downtown spot to eat. The issue is the execution of serving temperature with the food and flavor profile. Service was standard, nothing to blow your socks off. Plating of food was aesthetic and pleasing to the eyes. The hotel venue saved this from a lower rating. Ordered coal fired pork appetizer which the meat was tasty, the cucumber salad was refreshing, and the sauce was interesting. The ribeye steak came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked correctly but when served the temperature was room temperature. This along with lack of seasoning took away from the taste and experience. The potato’s were neutral flavor and cooked correctly but still served at a low temperature. The asparagus were the best part of the dish. The portion was filling. The burger was served hot and fresh with many good flavors. Nothing incredible but sufficient. The side of potato wedges were crispy and thick topped with a buffalo type drizzle. These were good, but if you don’t want an overly potato flavor they wouldn’t be for you. Overall this dish and side were good. The portion was filling. With a few tweaks this could be a top notch spot to eat, but for this experience it’s a middle of the pack place. I’d spend my money and time elsewhere for a similar price range. Was it worth it? For a one time date yes, for a consistent restaurant staple the first impression didn’t hook me.

    Beautiful restaurant, food is okay and the service is very slow. There was a bachelorette party when we were there and they were very noisy. Overall a lovely place to dine and celebrate. WE were there for a bday celebration and the dessert they presented gratis was generous and delicious. Parking easy. as well.

    Very average experience. The bar was lovely and very good. The restaurant food was fair not great and our waiter was weak. Haven’t been here for a long time and it has changed. Beautiful building and atmosphere. As far as the rest of the experience including the parking, it needs to be better.

    While we are staying in the Union Station hotel we thought we would try their restaurant. The initial reviews we poor at best but we wanted to view the beautiful architecture and quaint contraction of the old building, so we decided to eat at Stationary. We have it a try but we’re skeptical. To our surprise it was a wonderful experience. Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The service was great very attentive to our needs. Will eat here again for sure.

    Both appetizers dishes, corn & Brussels sprouts were gorgeous and delicious. Trout entrees presentation and taste were outstanding and had us asking for the chief to personally praise him. Service was pleasant yet challenging and entrees were served before completely enjoying the appetizers.

    Exellent evening with Devynn! She was an amazing bartender, her genuinely honest and an absolute treat to have as our guide to the menu! The atmosphere is luxe and relaxing. Food is presented in a manner fit for the ages. A exquisite yet modern decor in such a relaxing environment. Live music was an additional pleasure for the senses.

    Think I love every minutes of my stay there but the bill and the menu wasn't quite clear enough to work with. The price wasn't told, not visibly seen on the menu, I had to go by what's the best from a server. I wish your menu is updated or current and the dollar amount is accurate.

    My mom has been wanting to check this place out for so long. I surprised her for her birthday with reservations. She was so excited and even said it was better than expected! Our server was so sweet and on top of things. The food was so yummy. We cleaned our plates! (We went for Sunday brunch/lunch) You also get free valet when you dine at their restaurants. I definitely recommend it for a girls lunch or lunch date. Be ready to take pictures because it is beautiful inside!

    8pm dinner reservation. waiter was older man. he was very sweet and kind. but his shirt was untucked, he looked a bit unkept. it just threw off the ambience and for the cost of the dinner I would have expected a hire caliber staff. I know I sound incredibly snobby, and folks won't be this honest, but the service and the atmosphere didn't match. it threw off the 'vibe' of such a highly rated/ expensive restaurant.

    Excellent halibut. Waiter was SUPER slow and valet starts charging $30/hour after two hours. Due to slowness of the waiter barely made it in time to the valet.

    Really high quality food in a stunning setting. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say it’s Nashville’s best kept secret. We were one of four tables on a Friday night. Nice for us, but what a shame given the crowds at every other restaurant in town. The bar is nice. The lobby is truly spectacular. And Stationary is lovely and comfortable. The meatballs on the “starters” menu are sublime.

    We ordered drinks which the 70s Dream was cool with cotton candy. We ordered Short Rib for $45 and was nothing but fat. I know it is fatty but barely an ounce of meat is not good in my opinion. Also ordered the Simpson Strip steak at market price of $60. It has a lot of gristle and was at best a $20 steak. We then decided to order dessert hoping it would at least make out $200 bill worth going. But we didn’t get the right dessert. We ordered cheesecake but got shortcake which was dry and not very good. We didn’t realize til after we started eating it so didn’t want to be bad guests. But I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Much better places to go for that price.
