Got there today when they were just getting ready for the night and they still managed to give us exceptional service. Servers are very educated on food and drinks. Our party of 4 dined at Steak 48, Houston 11/28 to celebrate my beau's birthday. It has been years since we visited this location and from the moment we entered the establishment, we were pleased. We received a warm welcome from the hostess who was very kind and accommodating. Our seating was in an intimate glass booth near the kitchen area and the glass enclosure of the kitchen provided a nice view. Walking to our booth, felt a bit like the classic mobster movies of the past walking pass the kitchen (lol). The decor was beautiful and seating was very comfortable. All parties enjoyed their beverages and dinner; however, I will provide a bit more details on my items: - Drink: Stone Fruit - 5/5 this martini was exceptional and well worth the money. You actually receive 2 drinks with the amount reserved in the shaker. A highly recommend this beverage and it was STRONG *whew* LOL! For dinner, I opted for a few appetizers: - Crispy shrimp: 3/5: A decent dish, however, I would have preferred a bit more sauce and heat to them. - Crispy shrimp deviled eggs: 2/5 they were okay. - Superfood Salad: 5/5 Exceptional! I would have definitely enjoyed a larger portion, it was that yummy! All elements complimented each other perfectly. I look forward to returning and exploring other items on the menu. However, I each time I visit, I will definitely include the superfood salad and the stone fruit martini. I highly recommend Steak 48 for all occasions: dates, friends, family, solo...a beautiful environment with exceptional customer service, food and beverages. Their attention to detail (handwritten bday note for the beau), hot lavender scented towels and kind, gentle energy of the staff all contribute to a beautiful experience. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

They have jammed in tables so tight that I was literally about 10 inches from the guy beside me. The waitress could not take our order without constantly moving out of the way of busters or food servers. Felt very cafeteriaesque. Not great

Unbelievable build out, stunning and cozy atmosphere. Easy access to 610 South at Westheimer. Easy valet service. Sides are big, definitely shareable. My husband had the bone in ribeye. It was one of the best he ever had. I had the petite filet and it was divine. This was our first time at Steak 48 & I can’t wait to go back and try the pan seared snapper. Must try the corn and the scalloped potatoes and the mushrooms. So so good and the signature caramel butter cake for dessert is a must have.

This is our go to spot for celebrations and the experience has been well above par. Every time that we have been there the food has been excellent - EVERY SINGLE TIME - we have tried something new each time we go. Our server went above and beyond knew every special and every off menu item by heart our table was excellently placed this go round off in a back corner, and very quiet so that we may enjoy it very lovely evening celebrating my wife’s birthday.
