    excellent special occasion for us (bday ) steaks - superb service - Cammie the head waitress was just outstanding as was all of the staff drinks - bartender made the best Alabama Slammer of all time. Not a common drink and it was his first time making it. He made it exceptionally well. Should be their signature drink!

    The entree menu, salad were good, but the steak was tough and dry, which was very disappointing. When I think of Steerson, it is one of the best steak house, but it turned out to be not. The place was hot and I saw so much dust on the aircon above the wall with black dust marks everywhere. There were 2 men serving and maybe a manager, which I felt very slow in serving and hardly can get an eye contact. I have been coming here for a special occasions, but not sure if I will continue to.

    This is a good venue venue in terms of location / wine selections / menu offerings and service Prices are higher than average but it remains good value for the reasons above. Although most of our guests selected a steak (and there are a significant number of choices) there are other options which our guests chose and and praised. Steak, however, was the highlight with a significant number of cuts and sizes - all delivered at the same time, cooked to perfection and were praised by everyone.

    Inattentive staff that couldn't get out orders correct. $78 steak that was over cooked. They made it easy to go somewhere else next time.

    Unfortunately my partners steak was sent back twice , not cooked at the right temperature. Regrettable as this was our first year wedding anniversary. I will say our waiter and the manager were great in trying to make up for it.

    Went for a birthday dinner last night for 6 people. We were made to wait 1hr 15 for our food. 3 of the steaks weren’t cooked correctly and the baked potatoes were cold. They forgot to bring the sides we ordered with the meal so we had order them again and then the sides came out after we’d finished the meal. They did offer free dessert but that didn’t make up for a very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Ruined our evening.

    To be honest, we were disappointed. Previously we’ve had wonderful times there but this was poor. Our waitress was very pleasant and straightaway came over to tell us the special entree. I said I would be ordering that and she disappeared without taking our full order. She was back a few minutes later with said entree BEFORE EVEN TAKING OUR ORDER! It was very peculiar and we felt it was ignorant. Then, she left my empty entree plate on the table despite returning a number of times to remove other empty plates - even snatching away the remaining bread which we hadn’t finished. It was close on the poorest service we’ve experienced. I did appreciate the birthday sweet and am grateful, but overall, it was a disappointing visit.

    As strict carnivores, it’s hard to get high quality, large steaks (>500g) while traveling. Steerson’s has become our preferred place to get great quality steaks when in Sydney, and George and the team have always been happy to meet our specific requirements.

    Steak temperature was warm. Prawns were mushy. Background music volume too high. Waiters dropped cutlery and other items. Overpriced.

    We came here for my Mum's 70th. Just a group of 8. The food was delicious, the serving sizes were adequate and the service was outstanding. The prices are what you would expect from a steakhouse on the water. However we were charged a 10% service fee as our group size was 8 or more. I do not think there should be an additional surcharge for 8 people... Suggest coming in a smaller group to avoid paying this.

    Great meal, really enjoyed the rib eye and sides. A little chilly on the balcony but the heaters helped warm it up.

    For the price food was okay - steak slightly undercooked. Sides were good However service was horrible - rude waitress (Lucy?) forever to get service. No checking in during the meal and nowhere near the basic level of service which I would expect when you pay upwards of $100pp. Also took 40 mins for the bill plus clearing the table. Had to remind the staff once it crossed the 40 minute mark Ambience was good however will not be coming back. There are places with similar prices where they will ensure at a base pleasant service.
