Sushi
Sushi Zo is the Edomae style sushi restaurant that serves sushi in "Omakase" style, a Japanese style chef's’ choice meal. The first Sushi Zo restaurant opened in Los Angeles after the restaurant owner Keizo Seki gained experience and knowledge of Sushi in Japan and United States as a Sushi chef. "Omakase" is the multi-course tasting menu designed fully by the chef, and it consists of 20 dishes including appetizer, sashimi, sushi, and dessert. By using many different types of sauce, seasonings, techniques, Omakase style is the reimported style that provides lively and alternative sushi that you cannot find in traditional sushi restaurant. Sushi Zo, which gained a Michelin star in both LA and NY will provide you the wonderful experience that you can forever capture the spirit of Sushi.
Menu: Omakase(Chef's choice set menu): 19,000 yen (Service fee/Tax excluded) Please note that we only serve Omakase in order to serve you the Japanese seasonal ingredients in the best condition.

Excellent evening, and a great experience of watching the chef prepare the sushi, sashimi etc. Very innovative. And as there were nobody else, we were able to get lots of information about ingredients, and traditions. The chef is fluent in English, which made our evening even more interesting. Great for a date.

First visit to Tokyo and wanted a high end sushi experience that was accessible for non-Japanese speaker. Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with very high quality ingredients and execution . Great experience.

Sushi Zo was fantastic! All of the sushi was incredibly fresh and tender. Every single piece melted in your mouth! Every piece was artfully prepared by the amazing chef who was a joy to watch and talk to (he speaks english). We were slightly hesitant to go here since Sushi Zo originally started in LA and has a few locations, but it did not interfere with the integrity at all. It was a very intimate experience, there are only 8-10 seats at the sushi bar and that's it. It was also a bit pricey ($570 for two people, including 1 sake and 3 beers), but it was a great restaurant to splurge at and well worth it.

Our experience at Sushi Zo Tokyo is the highlight of our trip to Tokyo. I can’t imagine having sushi anywhere else as good (excellent!) as what we had that night. The whole experience from the chef engaging with the guests to the service was memorable. We are from Philadelphia USA and happy to have been told by the chef that there are 2 Sushi Zo in New York, 1 1/2 hours away. We will be certain to make the trip!!

Went here with my family. 6 of us in total. We had the place to ourselves. The music was a bit loud at first but they kindly turned it down upon request. Everything else was amazing, from the service, ambiance and the sushi. One of the best omakase sushi experiences I have had in Tokyo and the chef was very friendly and engaging and provided a fantastic experience. Can’t wait to eat here again.

On my trip to Tokyo with my son, I was looking for a top omakase sushi experience. And I found it. Chef prepares sushi in front of you. Account for about 2 hours!

We ate here, Iwa, Take, Onodera, as well as a few other less known places during our trip. This was the unanimous favorite among the group. Shinji really has the best quality fish out of any place we tried. We were also very surprised as his rating on Tabelog was somehow not very high

Sushi Zo Tokyo was an amazing dining experience and truly made our trip to Tokyo. Our chef made each piece of sushi in front of us and described why each ingredieng was used and how fish were chosen at the Tsukiji fish market. A truly magical night.

We celebrated our reunion here.
They offer Omakase only, and the quality, selections and presentation of the dishes served by Chef Shinji Nakamura were above and beyond our expectations.
Great service and intimate ambience make this place perfect!
This is a hidden gem worth a try.

Outstanding Experience, a must for any american travelers visiting Tokyo. We ate here last Saturday and the ambiance was perfect. This will be a must for me going forward whenever I visit Tokyo.

Executive Chef, Shinji Nakamura, did an excellent job of walking us through the selection and prepared a wonderful assortment of fish from all over the island.

If you've had Sushi Zo in the states and enjoyed it, then look no further than here. Reservations required.

I’ve been to Sushi Zo in Bangkok twice and both experiences were great, the second time quite phenomenal actually. When I tried to make a booking for sushi in Tokyo, Sushi Zo was available whilst most other joints were not, I had doubts but I let it pass coz when I called they said they would put me at the sushi counter, at least I didn’t have to go for conveyor belt sushi, and I had to trace form Hakuba to Tokyo that day, but it was a total let down. From food to service it was not my kind of Tokyo standard, I posted no pictures AT ALL, that tells a lot.
