Great restaurant for a special occasion. Warm, elegant and lively - in a slightly old fashioned way. Service was generally very good, but could have been a little less impersonal. Food is good, with an emphasis on Paellas - traditional but not at the forefront of modern Spanish cuisine.
Went for Restaurant Week and enjoyed a great evening with my girlfriend. The host and waiters provided excellent service and the food and wine was to die for. Will have to go again to try more dishes!
I really like the service, it has a wonderful decoration. You need to be vaccinated, I didn’t like some of the desserts and some plates are expensive but you can eat for cheap too.
Very much enjoyed our lunch during Restaurant Week...terrific menu, good and plentiful food and quiet atmosphere.
A wonderful Birthday celebration dinner for my Son! One of our very favorite restaurants in the City for decades now! Gracias y Feliz Ano Nuevo!
Amazing food and ambiance! Flamenco dance on Saturday night was fantastic.
You will feel like you’re in Spain. Very authentic. Amazing food and service.
Beautiful setting . Good service and food was authentic . I will be cackle for flamenco 🎉
-will definitely return, and frequent the place ore often
Great Restaurant! Delicius food, good mimosas, the brunch is enough as lunch!
First time visiting for NYE 2021 and was blown away. The menu was set and we just held on for the ride. The duck was amazing and by far my favorite. We also loved the lamb shank. The service was excellent and all the staff was friendly and attentive. A wonderful way to ring in the new year. We will definitely be returning. Cheers!
Dec 31 reserved a table, but It's to much money and no good food. Thank you
Staff was friendly & professional. Food was good. Loves the raspberry tequila sorbet! Only downside was that I expected a flamingo dancer, but because it was a holiday dancer didn’t perform & a holiday menu, wish that was posted online or somewhere just to get a heads up.
Really nice place to eat and have a good wine. The prices for the wines are high but they have a good list.
Excellent service - food was outstanding - very knowledgeable wait staff
Great food, generous portions, well prepared, and reasonably priced. I recommend the octopus. The paella is more than enough for two people. A single order is more appropriate for four to six people.
The service was exceptional. The staff was very attentive and professional.
The ambiance was almost perfect.
Amazing experience! Will definitely come back next time we are in DC!
Celebrating the arrival of friends.
We had a group of 10, had requested two tables of 5 (to avoid having to pay the $200 deposit + $55/person guarantee required) on the terrace, but we were accommodated at one large table inside and to the side. The service was gracious and attentive, the food delicious, and all of our requests were met.
Amazing food and service well recommended
This was our first visit to this restaurant. The tapas dishes were good. The main course was just OK. My husband ordered rib eye that was subpar (he loves a good steak and he did not even finish his meal at this place).
The server forgot to serve us the appetizer that we ordered and when I reminded him of it I head no apologies and it was never served, of course. They also tried to double charge us for drinks, which was brought to their attention and they did not seem surprised or apologetic about it. Not a great experience overall. I will probably never go back.
Service was great. It’s a bit pricey if you drink and order lots but it’s super nice. Very busy and noisy but super fun and nice. Awesome flamenco show. Worth it!!!
We had the most incredible experience. We were sitting outside. They had live music inside. After we ate, we asked if we could move inside. They set up a table for us and brought us a free dessert. We were blown away. LOVE THIS PLACE.
Excellent food, wonderful service. Thank you!
It is the best restaurant in town. If you have high standards, you will never be disappointed. Never lowers their standard in food or service. A real pleasure to dine there! Every one is super kind and friendly.
Everything was perfect and delicious
Wonderful meal in a beautifully decorated restaurant. The tapas, branzino and desserts were delicious.
I was dining alone. Excellent service.
Loved this beautiful restaurant
We have gone a few times and the food is consistently good and the service is very fast. The only issue we have this that the staff has a very bad habit of reaching over food to get to the dishes on the other side of the table. That is VERY disturbing, distracting, and offputting. Please correct that and remain the fabulous place that you are.
A fantastic experience to celebrate our engagement! The wait staff are attentive, helpful and made great recommendations for us. The environment is authentic and interesting and really adds to the experience at the restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a genuine Spanish experience!
Excellent service, food, value. would definitely go back.
For some reason Open Table let us make a reservation at the restaurant for 10:15 pm, when we called the restaurant at 10:00 pm, they told us that they do not accept reservations at that time because the kitchen closes at 11pm. We didn't get a chance to go to the restaurant.
Service was excellent and food authentic! I loved the Flamenco show!
Phenomenal! The wait staff and the entertainment were wonderful. Great singing and dancing, very engaging!
Great food but very cold and condescending service. Our designated driver was asked multiple times why he wasn’t drinking. The waiter also was resistant to giving our table bread with the tapas. And told us we should order more food when the 5 tapas we ordered were more than enough for us. Just not a warm and friendly service experience.
Great customer service, clean and honest. I felt that I was having dinner with family.
The food and the restaurant was fine. However, it is necessary to bring up a major health issue in this time of the pandemic. The website of the restaurant requires that customers “must wear a mask inside the restaurant except while eating or drinking. However, many of the staff (most of the men walking around in suits) walking around the restaurant and interacting with guests were NOT wearing masks. While it may not be required under DC regulations, if customers are required by the restaurant to be masked, then All STAFF MEMBERS should also be masked. Or at the very least, they should state in the website that masks are not required for staff. If we knew this, then we would have picked a different restaurant.
