    This is our first experience dining at the Tala House. It is one that will be repeated. We loved this restaurant. It delighted our palates, our eyes and our sensibilities. From the warm greeting we received at the front door, to the well designed interiors, past the open kitchen and the rear dining room, we walked onto a beautifully designed patio. Our waiter was humorous, informative and gave good insights to the menus. The drinks were delicious and generous. The courses were artfully presented and plated and pleasing to our tastes. Desserts were carefully crafted. The owner (whose name we did not catch) was ever present and an unparalleled host. He deserves kudos for the well earned success of this restaurant.

    Delicious! Appetizers were fabulous- focaccia, feta cheese. Dinner- Salmon and Beef medallions and dessert was flourless chocolate cake. Loved this place!

    One of our favorite spots in Chicago. Food is creative and delicious, ambiance is great (and there is a lovely outdoor patio), staff is friendly and seem to truly enjoy working there.
