We were a large party with multiple reservations and they were very kind to seat us close to each other and serve us at about the same time.

I love Talullah's, def one of my fav brunch spots. I was disappointed that I made a 12 o'clock reservation, showed up 10 minutes early, was fine with waiting til 12 but wasn't seated until 1220. I don't see the point of making a reservation if walk ins are seated before us. Not to mention we were only informed when we had to approach the front twice. Everything else was amazing, just didn't appreciate the lack of promptness or service in the beginning.

It’s such a disgrace that beautiful places like this one for instance, have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Can you guys believe I made a reservation for 9:30 am and like the decent person I am, I arrived ahead of time at 9:15.

The cheerless and rude hostess told us “WE HAD TO WAIT for 9:30”. The restaurant had more than 10 empty tables which one of course, was reserved for us but we
couldn’t sit before time? So stupid...

We finally got seated and the waitress came 5 minutes after.
Our server was nice, and unlike the hostess, made us feel a little more valued.

We ordered the proper breakfast and the half lemon ricotta pancake.

The server came a few minutes later and told us there were no half pancakes because THE CHEF WASN’T THERE?
Really? How is the chef not present on a Sunday. Anyways, she told us we could get the full pancake which made no sense. Anyways, we got the full pancake which was average. I went there because the pancake looked really good in pictures, but it’s not worth the hype.

I would have left the restaurant since the beggining, but it was my boyfriend’s birthday and I did not want to ruin it.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it and if I lived in Seattle, I would NEVER go back.

GET ANOTHER HOSTESS.

I love Tallulah’s! I usually come for brunch, but this last time I took my visiting family for dinner. My picky parents and vegetarian sister loved it. Cute cocktails, great wine list, a big burger and plenty of meat options for dad, seafood special for mom, and so many yummy veggies for sis. As always, wonderful service and pretty dining room. We made a reservation for Saturday at 5:30 and didn’t need it, plenty of space available with no wait.

It's just an average restaurant. Too noisy inside and bees and flies outside. French fries are good. But the rest of my food was not great. Service is just average.

Service was friendly but unbelievably slow, seeming like the restaurant was understaffed. I liked the atmosphere and wasn’t in a rush, but my party could tell we had repeatedly fallen through the cracks. The food was fine; not remarkable, but not bad either.

The coffee was tepid, the food lukewarm and bland, and the service indifferent (but for the person who sat us). One of our four drinks (coffee, OJs, water) was forgotten, and one of the two tables pushed together for our party was wobbly. It's a nice space, but beyond that there isn't much good about it.

This is a beautiful location, with a lovely atmosphere and design. Would be a perfect place to have a happy hour drink on a warm day. The food is subpar. Went for brunch, the cinnamon rolls were stale, our food was not very warm, potatoes were sad and undercooked. It’s really too bad because everything sounds good, and it’s mid to higher price wise, but really not different enough from what you’d get at a Marriott inn buffet. Also you have to ask for butter with your toast, not a huge deal, but kind of ridiculous considering the price. I truly wish I had more good things to say, it’s a lovely space and a great patio. If only the food were better!

Waited 45 mins for our order. Completely neglected by the server. I had to ask where the food was and it was miraculously ready that second. Clearly had been sitting by the congealed eggs. Had to ask for a coffee refill. Other seemed to be taken care of. So it was just an unlucky table. The staff didn’t seem to want to acknowledge how badly our service was so we were then ignored until the bill came. Many great places with consistent good food and consistent good service in Seattle. This is not one of them. One bright spot...the blueberry scones were delicious.

Tallulah's will always be my favorite place to go for brunch in Seattle, and it's where I always tell my friends and family to go as well (Portland local here). Everything on the menu is incredible, and I swear they put something in the bread here because I can't stop with it. However, on this last visit, the service staff was clearly struggling. I've always been of the opinion that the customer should never know about the behind-the-scenes struggles of the service staff, but our waitress avoided our table for about 30 whole minutes before I waved a host over to tell her I was ready to order drinks and food. When she finally did come over, she explained that she "didn't see us" and "didn't know we were her table." Neither of those are really my problem, I just wanted a bloody mary and breakfast, you know? I saw a 4-top near us have their drinks forgotten, and the wrong food got dropped at the table next to us.... But once I finally got to order and the food made it safely in front of me, it was game over. I'll forgive any service disaster because of that bread. And to be fair, we did get our Avocado Toast for free, which was kind of them given everything that happened.

I took my friend here for brunch on a Sunday about noon. They have basically a "healthy" sort of menu, lots of options, vegan, gluten free, but also a traditional bacon and egg breakfast, so very good for a variety of eaters. They also have sandwiches and salads. It was a nice day and they have a spacious outdoor patio in a nice Capital Hill neighborhood. We ate outside. Inside was very noisy. Our server was very sweet, but service was pretty slow. I asked for a cappuccino extra hot and it was just barely hot but I was also offered a refill of regular coffee so that was nice. My friend's avocado toast was delicious and a generous serving. The portions are all generous. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant and food and would go again and try some other dishes.

The setting is lovely -- we ate on the patio -- and the service was good. However, the menu is limited, and our waiter informed me that the kitchen was out of the dish that I had planned to order. I had something else and it was OK but not really what I wanted. It was an expensive dinner ($106, with tip, for two, including wine, an appetizer, and salad); to not get the entree I was hoping for was disappointing and a bit of a waste as the leftovers went unused. I probably wouldn't go for dinner again. Brunch, maybe, or a drink, yes.

We were able to reserve a table on a Friday evening just a few hours before our planned dinner time. We were seated inside, but right where it opens up to the outside. It was a beautiful night. They had a special made with Copper River salmon (sockeye) which was delicious. The grain bowl was tasty. Other than the salmon, the appetizers and small plates were the highlight, especially the Brussel Sprouts! A fantastic place to eat!

Lovely place, great patio, amazing food... interesting service strategies... tables around us remained w empty plates for almost the duration of our meal. I guess the tables weren’t needed & they concentrated in service... our server forgot that we wanted another round of drinks... saved us some $$$... overall it is great, just a semi busy Sunday brunch

Food was good, decor was wondeful, but the staff was kind of rude. When we walked in the hostess was standing there drinking coffee...totally ghetto. I ordered 2 things and only received one...where is that scone? And she didnt approach our table after we ordered until she brought the tab, so i couldnt even ask about the scone. We were about the 4th table seated early on a saturday morning, res was for 9:30, so it wasnt because they were busy. Food is expensive in this city. I could easily make eggs benedict at home for a few dollars, so i expect the service to be great when i go out! That and a good atmosphere are really is ALL a restaurant has to offer. Food is easy to make at home. Wont be back.

We were visiting Seattle and having troubles finding places that offered healthier menu options, a variety of menu items (we have kids that are picky eaters) and offered items at a reasonable price. Tallulah's hit all of the above and oh so much more! Their dishes had tons of veggies in them and the decor was straight out of a magazine. Not to mention the tasty cocktails...We would definitely eat here again!
