The food was absolutely amazing but the service was below par. I spilled some ice on my table and when requested the server to clean the same instead of doing anything about it she just handed over the napkin to us, I imagine she wanted us clear the mess ourselves... But I would not want to take anything away from the quality of the food it was phenomenal

I've decided that early evening at Tao is the best option. Same great food, but since it's less busy there's more time to enjoy the staff and the volume of low.

The food remains FANTASTIC! We were also seated promptly, and served promptly! It remains a great restaurant, and I think has even improved over time (which is not easy for these trendier type restaurants).

Place was too noisy, and we couldn’t even hear ourselves We need led to wait at the bar for our table. Funny how I get 15 min grace with my reservation, but they can have the guests waiting for 20 min. The seats are warned out..time to refresh.

This is like one of those mass chain clubs. Not a good vibe and they won’t customize any thing in their menu. Our server dint even try. The overall service is very dry, music is loud, food is average but overpriced for what you get. Not a great experience and I won’t recommend.

Excellent, love this place. Awesome lunch pre-fixe menu. Great value, can barely eat all three courses. Have eaten here a dozen+ times. Have never been disappointed. I take the team here for celebratory dinners too.

The restaurant is very pretentious. On one hand they charge in advance, have a dress code but all orders have to be placed together. You cannot order as a 3 course meal!!! Felt like ordering in Macdonalds

I have been coming to Tao since it opened as it is one of my favorite interiors. We were seated next to a couple with two very noisy children in an area where the tables are right up next to each other. Not a good experience....

Eat here last time on holiday with the family 6 years was amazed by the hole experience, Eat there again on the 10/08/2022 with the family again was not disappointed at all, the food, ambiance and (Janwell) the waiter was brilliant always on hand and attentive to us.

Tao’s food was excellent but we really got the feeling we were pushed to finish our three course dinner as soon as possible to make the table available for the next guests. Given the money we spent for a party of five, they should not push you to consummate asap and pay the bill.

The restaurant is really cool, the decor and everything about the atmosphere is perfect. The service was phenomenal and the food is above all. I ordered the thai sweeat and spicy shrimp, it was so good! Words can't do justice to describe it but I could easily eat that all the time lol my wife and I had the molten chocolate cake and it was a fantastic dessert! The cake is under what looks like a square box, fyi it's custom molded chocolate and it is excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!

My all time favorite restaurant. Had to give them 4 out of 5 stars because we made reservations for 9pm, arrived early and still weren’t called to come to our seats until a little after 9:30pm. This is especially noteworthy because we had to put a deposit down for the reservation. If we had to pay in advance, the least they could do is have our table ready, at least within 5-10 minutes of our reservation.

Fantastic atmosphere and amazing food! Sushi is creative and small plates are actually big! One person in our party said that this New York Uptown location was even better than the Las Vegas TAO location!! I could not argue with that sentiment.

This is my second time at Tao Uptown! It was just as amazing as the first time! I had the Scallops with the Red Thai Curry. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The Red Curyy chefs kiss! Our server Carnie was so nice and really looked like she enjoyed doing what she does. Dimly lit atmosphere on a Saturday night 645 reservation. For appetizers I had the yummy duck rolls. I also had nigir Tuna, smoked salmon and Hamachi. So good, so fresh immaculate. I also enjoyed the lychee martinis and Lotus blossom, both equally refreshing and delicious. I will be back! Thanks Carnie !
