   This venue did not honor the happy hour prices when they brought the check. It took more than 15 for them to figure out the right amount they were supposed to charge me for the food and drinks.

   The waitress was on point. Food was underseasoned; the chicken was seasoned on the inside; only the skin. The potatoes were bland and tasteless with absolute zero seasoning. Cheeseburger was good for the most part, but the meat patty was slightly dry. French fries were on point.

   We were seated at 1:00 pm got our drinks at 2:00 pm and left at 2:40. We never got our food with many complaints to servers and manager. It was at 2:40 when we were saying we were going to leave that they told us the food was ready. Not a great way to start my bachelorette weekend. Worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant and will never go back

   We enjoyed the food. Very good. Waiting and waiting for it was not so good. While I understand some kitchens are a bit slower I do not understand why our server gave our appetizer to another table and why it took so long to get our drinks refilled. Big gaps in servicing our table.

   The restaurant is open plan and located in the Westin hotel, so not the venue we expected. The food was good none-the-less and the service we got from Rui was great. Ambiance was lacking but it is a good option to eat decently in the neighborhood.

    Roi was an excellent waiter, very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the food and view. We were at Methodist for a medical procedure and highly recommend this area for an extended stay.

    This was probably the best meal we have had in a very long time!! We are staying at the Westin to be close to our grandsons hospital.. we were absolutely shocked when we ate the first night.. we have been back 3 times in 2 days!! And will be eating here again tonight.. we are eating our way through the menu. The steak frites and wedge salad are amazing.. the crusted cauliflower and sesame hummus are the best damn appetizers.. You will not be disappointed by one thing!! The pineapple mocktail (with added Tito’s) is so flavorful.. This is a must try restaurant..

    Found Terrace 54 online and it had solid good recommendations, so took visiting family there - chose to dine outdoors on the rooftop dining area and it was lovely because the weather was perfect. Brenda was our server and was delightful in all ways. Reservations didn't seem to be needed because the evening we ate there (a Saturday evening) wasn't busy. Plenty of parking garages nearby. The food was splendid and the pizza cooked to perfection and the other dishes were delicious. No issues. The staff take great pride in what they do it seemed.

    Service was horrible. Slow, inattentive and unwelcoming. Food was good but ridiculously overpriced. I was an overnight guest at the Westin the entire week and this was true in ALL aspects of the hotel, but most apparent in the restaurant and patio. I don't hold the servers responsible for all of it, there seems to be a culture of bad attitudes starting from the top management of the hotel. I overheard two managers interviewing a prospective employee in the lobby one afternoon and the comments they made about the current staff instigating drama were abhorrent. One manager even rolled his eyes after a guest walked away from him and he knew I was standing there waiting to speak with him! A MANAGER!! The front desk staff smiled and were polite, the hosts at the restaurant was great, the older gentleman who brings water and menus was polite and hard working and the bartender was efficient and polite. But you get the sense that nobody really cares about the guests because the working culture is so negative. The servers do not smile, they do not act like they want to be there, it is a huge burden for them to come to your table and actually wait on you. I was ignored almost every visit. On my reserved evening, I was not ignored of course, but the server clearly did not know what the menu was and how it had changed that week. Then, made excuses and wanted to make sure I understood it was the kitchens fault my order was not what had been communicated to me. The really amazing thing is that I overheard a man on the plane making almost the exact comments about his experiences.

    Overall, this was a nice spot to dine in an outdoor venue. As it is on a 5th floor terrace, it had great views, little street noise, and an "upscale" feeling. Food was very good and the restaurant handled a food allergy without problem. The service was a little "spotty" but overall was acceptable and the pace was certainly unhurried.Nice spot for a casual dinner or informal business meal.

    Took my parents there for father’s and they loved it. The food was good and in nice portions, the service was wonderful, and atmosphere was pleasant. My parents loved how bright and quiet it was during lunch. They didn’t have to squint to read the menu and my dad loved the sweet tea. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

    My mistake. I was visiting area and didn't realize the restaurant was located within the Westin Hotel. Hotel restaurants are never good and this one was no exception. The grain salad turned out to be a kale salad with a few grains sprinkled over and around the kale. I didn't eat it. (Nowhere on the menu does it indicate that kale is included.) This was followed by a hamburger. I asked for medium rare; it came well done. Oh well. Service was... interesting. It wasn't offensive but every time I pointed out an inconsistency, I was given this look of skepticism. :-) As though I didn't know what I was talking about. It was lunch, no big deal. However, when I paid with cash and they wanted to round down and keep my few coins, I raised an objection. It was a bit of work to finally get my change. I understand we're in a pandemic, but I'm done rewarding challenging service.

    Second time I have dined there this year and continue to be satisfied. We were there for an early lunch, so I was a bit surprised to hear that they were down to two servings of their fried cauliflower, which is our favorite (we were a table of 10 people, so ended up sharing)

    Not too many outdoor dining choices at the Texas Medical Center, so the Terrace 54 Bar+Table were the obvious choice. Great food, ambience and a short walk from the office, the perfect combination.

    We had an amazing experience for New Year’s Eve. The 3 course meal was outstanding from start to finish and was worth every penny. The waiters for very attentive and the chef made time to stop by our table. The patio views were nice as well.

    Great space, great drinks and food - the ambiance is very good for date night. The no hostess at arrival, Sous chef sat us, the menus were printed on regular paper. We sat on the patio and the server was nice and the drinks came quick and we’re on point. The food was tasty, warm and delicious. Just don’t face the pool if you’re trying to have a romantic evening (large mammal males changing, not the visual you want when dining).

    Went for lunch with a friend. Super cute not that hot as it’s mostly shaded and has umbrellas. Great food. It is in a hotel so there wine selection isn’t that great but other than that an amazing experience!
