    Eating outside at the Barn Kitchen is such a pleasant experience - you have the benefit of being in the fresh air yet are protected from the sun and the wind. Tables are well spaced. Staff are consistently friendly, attentive and efficient and the food and our coffees were first rate. We loved the beetroot and felafel burgers and the chips were outstanding!

    Hi I'm a big fan of Peterley but my friend and I both had the flatbread with chicken tikka! We felt it was more like a pizza and it was quite dry. The flat breads used to be thinner and smaller....

    We eat here regularly, whether for brunch, lunch or simply coffee and a delicious cake. The staff are wonderful, the food is wonderful and the whole experience leaves you wanting to return… which we do! I highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t been before, but frankly most people I know already know of Peterley Farm Shop and The Barn Kitchen already!

    I am sorry to say that the food has gone down in quality. It is overcooked and some parts of the breakfast has been inedible a few times in a row. Bacon burnt, sausage undercooked. Eggs tiny. Service remains very good, friendly staff and the place is very pleasant inside and out. We are unfortunately not going to eat there again as for the prices (very expensive) it is just not the best quality of cooking or portion sizes.

    Our flatbread was just a small puzza for £12.50. The fries at £6 were diappointing. Add service on top and it was yet another meal you looked back on and thought what a waste of money. Very disappointed. Service was good though.

    Shame there are no normal sandwiches any more like the lovely open ones you used to have, the food was good but the expensive choice of quite fancy salads which are all quite rich means I won’t do lunch again I’ll stick with breakfast there instead
