Food is very good but acoustics are terrible. Will go back but less frequently than I would like to go because of the noise level
Great service and great food
Service what service I was charged for items we ordered but never got . The steak was like licking a salt lick. I asked to return it and they did not .I think my wife cracked her tooth on the hard bread. The waitress ignored us .and i called to complain and noone even returned my call. All this on our anniversary and Valentine's day. What a serious disappointment not to mention we were both ill the next day. Never go there is loud and overpriced in a huge way. Outback hell McDonald's is better and dinner for two to get sick was over 100.00.
First experience was great! Decided to go back for a 2nd time on Valentine’s Day and the experience was not the same sadly.
Great service and food was just as orded is a little pricey but worth the extra money
Don’t take a table near the bar or the restroom
Food was great
The service we received this visit was as if we were a bother to the gentleman that waited on us. Normally the servers take the time to explain the specials and discuss the menu with us. After waiting about 10 minutes a young lady approached us and asked if anyone had been to they table yet, we said no. She left and about 3 or 4 minutes later our waiter arrived.
“Have you been here before”? Was the greeting. We said yes, several times. He responded; “Great, ready to order”?
When he took our order for dessert he tried to deliver it to the wrong table. He took the order??
Overall the service did. It measure up this visit to our normal 5 Star experiences.
On top of that we sat in front of an open window, very chilly.
Great fun with friends. The 6 of us each had a different entree and we enjoyed all of them. Good portion size and presentation. We dined on a Wednesday and it was packed, inside and out despite the chilly weather.
Food and wines I'm just fine. Had a hamburger that was delicious And my wife had salmon that she thought was wonderful. Service was excellent, the only downside is that it's quite noisy. I'll certainly return.
Since we are not from the area, we were asking around for recommendations and this was recommended to us by our daughter-in-law whose father knows the owner. I am SO happy they told us about this restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant had a nice feel from the moment you walked in and was seated. The food was fresh - farm to table - with ample food selections, prepared perfectly and beautifully presented on white dishes. It was a pleasant evening so we were seated outdoors which just enhanced our dining experience. Our waitress Tara was VERY attentive . We drove about 35 minutes from Stuart to have dinner here and we would go again in a heartbeat. Would highly recommend!
Always consistent with there food. Great place to enjoy a great meal.
The food and service were excellent. My wife's fish was served over cooked but the server took it back with no issue and a fresh piece served. Nice drink menu and perfect spot for outdoor dining
The Cooper is our go to in Palm Beach Gardens for fresh, healthy, well prepared meals and innovative food combinations. We love the appetizer choices, the stand by entrees as well as the nightly specials. There is always a good mix of red meat, chicken, and seafood options to suit any palate. We love the food, the service and the ambience!
It’s a convenient spot for a Monday night dinner. Sat outside and heard lots of traffic on PGA Blvd but it was nice and warm outside. Food was good but pricey and the service was great.
Love this restaurant ordinarily but chicken was so grossly over-cooked on the outsidetham the white meat was like leather. When I ate the drumstick it was OK but reported to the waitress that I could barely cut into the breast. Dries out and all. Her response was that I should have mentioned it before eating the drumstick Seriously??
This waitress needed better training.
Love the eclectic menu - everything is well prepared, presented, and served!
I truly enjoyed my dinner as did my friend
Wendy our wait person was gracious and got us to our movie in time by being on top of things for us
William the manager was truly wonderful and I appreciated his ability to make me want to come back...and I will for sure !
We have dined at the Cooper several times over the past few months. We always have a good experience. The outside seating is great because I usually bring my dog and there is an area that I can walk her. We go on Sundays and they have a nice brunch menu with bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. Just a nice atmosphere to unwind on a Sunday morning. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. They also have little areas that have sofas and lounge chairs so you can sit there, finish your drink and be comfortable.
Had to wait almost 30 minutes for our reservation. Food and service were very good.
Awesome ambiance. The food was delicious
Great service, very good food. Not the quietest place we have ever visited/
Repeat customer. Fantastic meal
we ate outside and George was our waiter, he was Excellent !!
the food, service and atmosphere could not have been better.
we will return again for sure-- keep up the good work
It was my birthday celebration. The food was excellent. The service was great. It was a lovely evening, and we sat at a table that was inside, but at the opening to the patio. It was perfect.
Would still recommend, but we were disappointed on this return visit. Our first visit a few weeks ago was terrific, with delicious entrees that lived up to the chef’s reputation.
This time, our fish entrees were pretty run-of-the mill, and not nearly as innovative or tempting as we had expected.
We plan to try at least one more time, hoping that the recent visit was an aberration and not the norm.
Food and service high quality. It was too noisy for easy conversation, given the high percentage or reflecting surfaces and the speaker above our table firing rock music at us. I’ve complained about the noise level before.
This was probably my 7th-8th visit to The Cooper. It has become a "go to" establishment for my wife and me. We enjoy the menu and the vibe, although I must say that the noise level during this past visit was really too much. The four top we had in the middle dining room was too small, but even in cramped quarters I had to strain to hear my dining partner sitting right next to me.
Other than those two criticisms, we had a nice meal.
We like Dinner at the Cooper while vacationing in West Palm Beach. We went on a Monday night hoping that the 50% off deal on a bottle of wine was still in effect. Unfortunately it was not. Other than that disappointment we had a great dinner. Food and service were wonderful, the full price bottle of wine was also good.
This was our first time at this restaurant, and we will definitely return. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal, chicken, mahi-mahi,scallops and salmon. For dessert we had the key lime mango pie, which all four of us agreed that it was the best we’ve ever tasted! The server Tara, was delightful and professional, making it a lovely evening.
Excellent food great location and excellent service make this restaurant a winner for all occasions. However please be advised it is a very very loud restaurant both inside and outside. Something should be done to try to lower the noise level.
I was disappointed with the food for the first time. The special was unavailable and my second choice came out over cooked and tasteless. My son- in- laws steak came out too rare. He ordered based on the servers recommendation. Service was spotty. I’ll try it again. I’m not in a rush.
Service was excellent food was good thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Our first time. Great menu selection including vegetarian. Our food was prepared well, served with enthusiasm and care.
This restaurant is like dining in someone’s home. We had lunch inside and were seated at a very comfortable booth with large table and comfortable bench seating with pillows for extra comfort. Food is locally sourced when possible, fresh and delicious.
I ordered the salmon filet with cauliflower rice, my friends had just off the boat fresh mahi tacos, a veggie burger topped with a fried egg, and steak frites. All entrees were delicious! We topped it off with flourless chocolate cake and a mango key lime pie. Also excellent. I’d recommend dining here!
Food choices were interesting service was excellent as well as food noise level made it difficult to communicate even with servers
The Cooper is a restaurant I frequent fairly often. I suggested it to out of town friends. We met there. They loved the fish they ordered. My duck duo was inedible. I left most of it on the plate. It was raw and tasteless. I should have sent it back but didn’t
I will go back again because all my other choices have been terrific.
The service and the food were excellent. We especially enjoyed the mussels, meatloaf and the special of the fish and the duck duo.
Great service, great service very attentive
Only issue was need to change tables as we were outside and water from ongoing rain was dripping thru the cover! Nearby table was fine however.
Inside is really loud, but other than that, the experience was great. Our server, Jenna was so pleasant and we called her an "energy giver"
Always exceptional food, service and atmosphere. A favorite that I love to take friends to.
