   Aussie take on classic European restaurant white linen elegant glassware staff friendly and efficient limited menu reflecting European tastes (not a burger in sight).drink prices reasonable for the class .Food was delivered promptly and portion size acceptable.Overall a pleasent experience but lacking in any wow factor

   We enjoyed a birthday lunch for Mum at The Courthouse and would happily return when they’re back to the usual menu. The $80pp 4-course set menu would be an ok deal if the service was faultless but I felt we paid a premium for something we didn’t receive. The reasons given for the reduced menu were guarantee of supply/quality of menu items and Covid impacts on staffing levels. The staff were really friendly, but lots of little things added up to a less than professional effort than implied by the price. Better training and shift supervision would do it. Small stuff if just once, noticeable if twice but then disappointing for ongoing instances. Luckily our group of four has a sense of humour and we mostly laughed it off or it would’ve spoiled the effort we made to take Mum somewhere upmarket to make her feel special. The food was pleasant and well presented. The passionfruit tart a bit dry without a dollop of cream or a scoop of ice-cream. The room was very inviting and beautiful on gloomy, rainy day.

   Not a supporter of the set menu now in place. Perhaps if offered a 2 course menu as well as obligatory 3 course menu - might reconsider. All the old standards there - but… Dinner for 2 with a moderately priced bottle of wine came to $220 - not an unreasonable amount - however - we just didn’t need that amount of produce! Food was good but on the side of so-so. Maybe late on the scene (1900) restaurant essentially empty on a friday night. Maybe groups left eary - but felt concept wasn‘t working. My first visit was 1969 - visited many times since - thinking this will have been last… Cheers.

   We have been dining at Cleveland's Courthouse Restaurant for nearly thirty years and this is the first negative review I have sent so hopefully it was a once off. When I booked the table online there was no mention of it being a set three course for $80 per head. Upon asking staff whether this was the only option we were told yes however when the staff member asked if I had booked online and I said yes, they confirmed that this had not been noted on some online bookings so as a result they offered two courses for $70. Except for the pear and rocket salad which had no candied walnuts in it the food was mostly very good.

   Great location by the water. Gorgeous historic homestead. Love the ambience with piano playing throughout the night that sets the mood. Delicious food and excellent service. We love coming here time and time again.

    The food was delightful. The waiters were so lovely. We did have to wait some time to order our food however it came out so quickly and the waiters were amazing throughout the experience. Food has been delicious everytime we have been, well worth the money. Inside was a little noisy for my dad who is hearing impaired, would recommend an outdoor table for similar situations.

    My wife & I tried the Courthouse for the first time. We booked online for dinner and upon arrival were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the building, side rooms and nooks with open areas, both inside and out. We'd love to return for lunch to experience the bay views from the deck. The fixed 3-course dinner menu (incl: 1x entree, 1x main & 1x dessert) offers multiple options for each category, optional sides are available too. I added a side of fries, thinking the three-course meal wouldn't fill me, I was very wrong. The drinks menu was surprisingly broad, which was fantastic. The service was excellent, a cut above anywhere I've been for some time. Wait staff were efficient, thoughtful and professional, allowing the right amount of time between ordering, clearing plates and refilling glasses. The cost was more than we're used to, but it wasn't so difficult to part with on our anniversary and when the experience is that good! Highly reccomend!

    The Courthouse is the place to eat in the Redlands. The food is delicious and well presented. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is fine dinning and the menu caters for all tastes. Lunch or dinner the ambience is lovely and the piano being played in the background is perfect.

    our Anniversary venue every year. Always superb food and service. Was a little noisy but didn't spoil it for us. Our only criticism is that we felt a little rushed, a little longer between courses would be better

    This was my second time to The Courhouse restaurant, this time for lunch. It is such a beautiful venue, great location, wonderful food and great service. The variety of food on the menu is fantastic-plenty to choose from! And something to loo forward to going back to try!

    I went with 2 friends recently to celebrate the birthdays of two of us. There is no better place than the Courthouse in which to have special celebrations. Our entire experience was superb, from arrival to departure. The staff were courteous, polite and accommodating. The food was delicious and service was perfect.

    Dined for my partners birthday - food was excellent, service great, staff very friendly and cheerful. Set menu had plenty of variety - so good to get a steak cooked the way you like it. Highly recommend. (My partner loved it🤗🍾🥳🥂)

    The entrees and mains were delicious. The waiter very attentive and atmosphere lovely. However the citrus tart tasted like something you would buy at the supermarket, not something you would expect in a restaurant of that quality. But overall a very lovely dining experience.

    Service and ambiance as usual was fantastic. Food over priced and unfortunately average. My daughters salmon was very over cooked with lots of white and in some broth that wasn’t nice at all (no mention on menu) My Mums rack of lamb also over cooked and tough (the potatoes were lovely however) and they have changed the brandy snap dessert since last time and it was no where near as nice with the snap so hard it was nearly inedible. My son got a kids meal and loved it. Not impressed with the new pricing 2 courses $70 or 3 courses $80…there’s no way my entree & main was worth $70 and wouldn’t have come close to that on their old menu with individual prices. On paying we were charged 3 x 3 courses when we all had 2 so the system needs to be looked at as well. Overall it’s a beautiful welcoming place to go and we have a few times (generally special occasions) but we won’t go back for a while now as the food is not worth the money.

    We were given a table that was close to the air conditioning (not sure if it was on) but we all felt slightly cold. Another table moved into a side room where there was obviously some heat. Enjoyed all parts of the meal, but had to ask 3 times for ice to go with the table water as this was obviously straight from the tap. Good ambiance with the piano player enjoyed 'spotting' the tunes. This was a special occasion as my wife and I were having a wedding anniversary and also there was a birthday for the other couple.
