   Had evening meal on Sat 28th - had to phone and arrange later table due to unforessen circustances & girl on the phone was excellent & understanding & fitted us in no issues. Was greeted on enterance & shown to table, server (young lassie) was very polite & excellent Great dining experience

   We felt like we were thrown out table for 8 was booked for 7 time we all got in and seated ordered a drink then had meal it was 10.15 which we were asked to move to other room we felt they were standing over us waiting for us to go

   Wasn't rubbish but was nothing outstanding, had burgers but have had better burgers elsewhere was very basic. Had the brownie for dessert and was good but wasn't heated which was disappointing due to this brownie was rather hard needed knife to cut through it not a spoon. Service was reasonable did ask for straw for kids juicer and had to ask again as forgot and when ordered another drink took ages to bring it out. plan to go back again but will be trying something else my daughter had kids pizza and that was good.

   Been a couple of times now and the service is always excellent, as is the food. We like going and playing a couple of the games they have on offer so it's always a fun night. Would recommend to anyone.

   Staff very friendly and helpful. Food came but no cutlery on table so had to ask. One starter not available. Mojito was awful, didn’t taste like a mojito at all. Someone at table Next to us also had a mojito and said the same. Frozen daiquiri didn’t have much taste. Cocktails quite expensive. Asked for pot tail of the week but the board hadn’t been updated so was actually from The week before. Ran out of shot glasses for the Prosecco. Overall food was decent and the staff were really nice but cocktails need improving.

    Booked for restaurant wasn’t any tables available (had booked 4 weeks ago) had to wait long enough to get table in the bar, to place order for food and drinks. Over all they accepted too many bookings and couldn’t accommodate. Was told because our table was only for 3 people Christmas party tables took priority over our booked table had no communication about this before we turned up for our booking.

    Was really nice my party especially enjoyed the Christmas menu. Had had reviews from friends that had attended the Dundee giddy goose and they were extremely disappointed in fact only paid for drinks and left Forfar far superior. Have a photo I wish I could upload of the cheesecake Dundee and Forfar as a comparison. Forfar was excellent

    Food is mainly good but groups who were there only to get drunk were sat in the dining room instead of the bar area and their behaviour spoiled the night

    Usually really good and I understand it’s busy with Christmas but service not as good as usual, we ordered wine for our meal and it did not arrive, staff were apologetic but it did affect our experience on this occasion, still one of the best places to eat out in Forfar.

    Breakfast menu is so amazing! Big and small breakfast both tasty and excellent value! The smashed avacado on sourdough was delicious! Coffees fab too! Lovely and efficient service!

    1 of our party of 4 ordered the brisket pizza which wasn't nice at all, but as she didn't eat it it was taken off our bill. All the other food and the service was fabulous 👌

    I had the ultimate cheeseburger with parmesan and truffle oil fries, my boyfriend had the maple burger with mozzarella and sweet chili fries. The burgers were melt in the mouth and the fries were the perfect balance of fluffy and crispy. Salt and pepper chicken dippers were perfectly cooked and beautiful too. The servers were very attentive and really friendly. Would definitely recommend going here. We'll see you again next time we have a babysitter!

    Initial service good. But would have liked to have had more drinks. Sat with an empty glass most of our time there and no one asked if we would like more drinks or desserts. This was the same for the tables beside us.

    There were eight of us at the table & although we enjoyed the food, one of our orders was mucked up despite the waitress repeating it back to us. So one of our party had to wait for her food while everyone else was able to tuck in to theirs. Although an apology was given, it would’ve been a nice gesture for some discount off the bill. Also the salt & pepper chicken burger was apparently good, it was way too spicy to be enjoyed. A couple of our guests had also considered having a dessert, but wasn’t always easy to try grab attention of the servers as it was busy. In the end when we did get someone’s attention, we just asked for the bill as we were meeting others. Only after it was paid & we left & we checked over it to sort it out, we realised that it still had the same wrong order on the bill. I can appreciate mistakes happen & I don’t think it was the waitresses fault as she had repeated the order back to us. I think when it was being relayed to the kitchen, the mistake had happened then.

    Booked for a birthday meal. Wasn't told that there was a quiz night on so we were half way though our meal when it begin. Leaving us feeling awkward. Would have been nice to be told and possibly offered a seat away from where it was taking place we left after mains and went else where for dessert. After hearing good reports we were excited to come but unfortunately our experience left us a bit deflated and will not be rushing back anytime soon!

    Brilliant food all around but service was very poor. Waited about 1hr to get our meals which we had waited 15mins for menus and it was another table which gave us menus not staff. Waited 25mins for first round of drinks also. Member of staff did come over and apologise explaining they were short staffed and that a coworker called in sick, but I think it is surely down to management to deal with this and I think they need to not rely on younger members to deal with issues like this themselves. The waiter and waitresses all seemed rather stressed and again I feel this is something management needs to work on. As a family we love coming to Giddy Goose in Forfar, but the service has slightly put us off.

    Burgers were so beyond "chargrilled" that the grill marks were crunchy leaving your mouth full of burnt/black/hard deposits. Also there was a hair in one burger. Needless to say we didnt eat much of our meal. When i went to pay they deducted the cheapest burger from the bill. They didnt seem that bothered that meal was rubbish although they did ask us how we thiught they could resolve the food issue???? Not very expeienced in customer service.
