   Wrong order brought out. Slow service, there were 3 of us and we were in there for 3 hours! Most of which we were waiting for service. The waiter looked annoyed with us that the order was wrong!!

   Had a fantastic time at The Ivy for my friend’s birthday - the staff were super on it and friendly, and even came out with a birthday dessert on the house! The inside was beautifully decorated and had such a nice buzz! Thanks!

    The decor was very nice and elegant, the steak tartare I got was decent, but not as good as I hoped. The chocolate bombe was also nice. The staff were very friendly.

    Very helpful staff especially as we were a group of eight. The menu had a great selection to suit everyones taste. We were concerned as the group was a selection of European friends and we were anxious that their experience was good; and it was, all seemed happy with the evening.

    The music was far too loud making it impossible to have a conversation. Why do need a DJ on a Sunday morning for brunch and lunch???? Ridiculous!

    Food was very good but music was too loud to enjoy conservation at the table. This was a birthday weekend with my twins girls so we were just disappointed that to be able to have a catch up during a lovely meal was spoilt by the music

    So disappointed. Was there for a birthday brunch. The muffins used on the eggs dishes were cheap unpleasant and cold as was the entire meal. Chips were burned. Ordered 2 mimosas 3 arrived and three were added to the bill despite us sending the third back. Espresso we didn’t order arrived and was charged to the bill despite us highlighting the error. Coffee we DID order never came. Service was a total mess and when we complained about the bill there was zero apology from the female floor manager who simply corrected the bill. Bizarre. Strikes me as a place that has great footfall and a bad attitude.

    I/we found ourselves asking….is The Ivy what it used to be? Sadly I am not as convinced as I used to be, the service was good but the food portions noticeably smaller but at the same price. Have not given up on them yet though.

    mother’s day - We have dined at the Ivy Brasserie on several occasions but the last few times have not been as good as previous experiences. On this occasion the food was Ok… my husbands steak came up cold, as well as the sides… I had the shepherds pie and this was warm but not none of the food was massively hot or as good as it used to be… the service, ambiance and everything else is always good and staff were great with my children but the bill was £170 and I just feel the food didn’t reflect the cost.

    Food and setting were both amazing. The service was pretty bad though - our wine was taken away and completely forgotten about and we had to keep getting up to ask for it to be replenished, one of the drinks never turned up but was still on the bill, the truffles to go with the coffee came around 20 mins after the coffees were finished! It was a bit of a shame given it was a celebration treat.

    Food was good, it was the brunch. Service is slow. I didn’t get flowers for Mother’s Day, others tables received. Don’t understand the criteria. Overall was good but not enough to be back.

    This was a last-minute choice and we chose it because we thought it would be good. It was close to The Cartoon Museum which we had been visiting in Wells Street (great little museum!). It was Mother’s Day and full of mothers and sons dining. Our waiter was delightful and the food was fantastic. The Ivy chain never lets you down. I had exquisite salmon and asparagus, followed by a special Mother’s Day dessert which was a sort of re-worked Eton Mess with berries. Delicious. My son had a lovely burger and chocolate bombe which very well presented. The sourdough & butter was warm and irresistible. This restaurant has a busy bustling brasserie atmosphere which is hard to beat. The lady at the table next to us had a flambéed dessert which was like a piece of theatre. We will be back………!

    Excellent food, as always - you know what you're getting with the Ivy. We mentioned to our waitress that we had just over an hour for dinner before the theatre and she made a special effort to ensure that we were able to eat without feeling rushed. There was a slightly odd and abrupt increase in the volume of background music at about 7pm which could have been more gradual, but overall it was a very pleasant experience.

    Nice food but spoilt by sloppy and poor service. Slow to take orders, wrong cutlery, then no cutlery, forgot to bring items on standard menu, forgot to bring drinks yet charged for them. Didn’t forget to add service charge!

    So it’s officially hell to sit outside here…. We were sat on the last table at the back with a view of the public toilet which hasn’t been blocked out with any kind of fence or divider. Table also not placed under the heaters that only align the wall and service was SLOW. We waited an hour for our main course and about 25 minutes for the initial drinks.

    Service was poor for anyone dining early on Tuesday. Other tables commented on it. That said, our main courses were delicious. I wouldn’t recommend the arancini.
